I remember being 4 years old in 1984 sitting at a bar at a ski resort in Wolf Creek, Colorado, watching this music video. They really should have toured behind this album. Playing songs like this, the tittle track, too tough, pretty beat up and the pain of love would have been really cool. Love this final period of the 78 to 84 era of the band.
@SEZWAH Yeah man. It was cool to see in Shine a Light. Awsome they played both She's Was Hot and She' So Cold for you at the same show. I saw them at Comerica Park in Detroit that tour, and they did to She's Cold for us as well. I was lucky to have seen them do Infamy and Back of My Hand then as they dropped both of those later on I think.
I too was at that Chicago show! Keith & Ronnie were wearing fingerless gloves & heat fans were going! I wore shorts but luckily I had a jacket too. It snowed at the end of the weekend.
You said it - a beautiful redhead is rare - and she was. Amazing. I first saw her when I was about 7 in The Magic Show, and she was ravishing. I was going to see Nine one night and the night before I ran into her in a bodega, here in NYC. It was a little bitt after the show must have ended it's performance, and she was dressed casual, but, if you knew who she was - WOW. I went over and said 'Ms. Morris I'm going to see you tomorrow ... I just wanted to tell you, you are GORGEOUS' She was extremely gracious, & told me to come back after the show. I treasure that night. Yes, the next night, I went to see Nine, with my aunt (not blood, but, actually, my mom's best friend), and, I said 'just stick with me, because we're gonna have a special treat afterwards. I watched the show - especially Ms. Morris - mesmerised. After the show, I was heading towards the back, and, my aunt (Helen), had no clue where I was dragging her. 'You can't go back stage,' she said. 'Not unless someone invited you,' that is. I found the way - dragging aunt Helen (a bit of a 'Mame'-type), and I can not tell you how surprised she looked when I told the back stage people who we were, and who told us to come - after a moment of checking, they said 'absolutely, follow me,' and, man…..I was just speechless. She really was a genuinely nice, warm person, and if you knew me - who I am, and what I do, fame does not impress me. Talent and kindness does. I can count on one hand the people who really are truly special, Ms. Morris is one, and, where ever you are, Ms.Morris, 'THANK YOU!'
Oh Hell yes ! I am a woman and always loved her . She was one of a kind . It is weird seeing her son , James Badge Dale , in major movies because he looks so much like her and has her eyes . Rest In Peace Anita
♡ . Love your post and am so glad to see all the posts commenting on just how beautifully sexy Anita Morris was . Even as the sexy vixen here she exudes class and grace , something nobody has been able to do since her . This came out when Madonna was just getting big and people were raging about how amazing she was . I was only 11 then but I loved Anita Morris and thought she set the standard for beauty ( sorry but I think red headed women have something extra ) and could never fathom why people found Madonna sexy but ignored Anita . Anita might not have been a musician but she was a total Rock Star as she did videos , movies and theater . The fact that she was a mother ( she also blessed us with her son James Badge Dale ) and was already fighting Ovarian Cancer just adds to the fact that she was a brave class act and didn't let obstacles put her down . This entire video is great but Keith Richards montage says it all . No nasty lusty behavior , just total shock and awe that a gorgeous woman pops up out of nowhere fully clothed but sexy and classy at once . Oh , take note ladies today that think you have to let it all hang out or just won't leave even a ounce to the imagination . Anita Morris was fully clothed and had men ( and women) drooling over her . A little class goes miles on end .
marci mars thank you - she was something - even in some of her movies - Madonna or any other of these "stars" cannot come close to her - she didn't need to be naked to be sexy - this was one of the better music videos
The very first time I saw this video on television back in the 1980s, I got a real kick out of it. Not only can the Rolling Stones sing, but they know how to be comedians in their music videos.
This is why these guys are the greatest rock and roll band in the world. Putting out great stuff like this, twenty years after their debut. And on to today.

Great video. The actress was Anita Morris, b. 14 March 1943, d. 2 March 1994. She sadly died from ovarian cancer which she had first been diagnosed with in 1980. This single was released in January 1984.
These guys are just incredible. They had what it takes to the max. And this is one of thousands of examples. You got to love the Stones. They kept the ball rolling for years. Bless em all.
I’ve seen several concerts over the years. I saw the Stones in Vancouver B.C. in 1990. They looked so old on the big screen, but they freakin rocked it. I had tickets on the floor. By far my favorite all time concert.

Who could forget her in 'Ruthless People' (circa 1986). Coincidentally, Mick Jagger sang the main theme of the movie.
She might have the best body ever in my opinion. Holy cow was she sexy.
Great tongue in cheek comedy/acting/directing and one of my fave songs.
One of their best singles. Mick harmonising with himself is good, and the arrangement becomes more unpredictable as the song goes on.
One of the funniest music vids I'll probably ever watch - loved Ronnie Wood's bendy guitar :)
in fact, it is aFender Bendacaster Custom Shop ,59
Nothing hotter than the ending with flames coming out of her arse. Very funny.
Same type of bendy guitar Rick Nielsen used in “Up the Creek”

New York was cold and damp
TV is just a blank
Looks like another dead end Sunday
What about an early night
Monday never feels so bright
Ooh the sheets feel cold and lonely
Who wants to brave the pouring rain
For a glass of French champagne?
Well grab a cab, grab a cap and baby, come right by
And she was hot, as she kissed my mouth
She was hot, as I wiped her brow
She was hot, she pinned me to the ground
She was quick, she knew her way around
She was hot, as she tore my clothes
She was hot, she had no place to go
She was hot, on a cold and rainy night
Detroit was smoky grey
Nothing like the good old days
Well I got a fever that I'm fighting
I don't need your company
Leave me in my misery
I can take the rebound just like lightning
And she was hot, in a 50's dress
She was hot, her lips were flashing red
I was lost, in her burning flesh
I was hot, I was dripping sweat
She was hot, in the Detroit snow
She was hot, she had no place to go
She was hot, on a cold and rainy night
And she was hot, and I had the blues
She was hot, honey, where were you?
If you were in my shoes
You would be excused
She was hot, you could never wait
She was hot, never hesitate
She was hot, on a cold and rainy night
I think I'm going off the rails
Riding down the pleasure trails
I was taking passion where you find it
Honey when you're young and fresh
And you need the touch of flesh
Go take the treasure where you find it
And she was hot, in the melted snow
She was hot, in the molten glow
She was hot, she got it in the blood
She was hot, like the dam that bursts
She was strong, she was strong and true
She was black, and her eyes were blue
She was lost, and she took a chance
At just a brief romance
Down the avenue into the lost bayou
Into the tall bamboo, back to the human zoo
I wish you all the best, I hope we meet again
In a cold Chicago night
She was hot
She was hot
She was hot hot hot
She was hot hot hot
She was hot hot hot
She was hot hot hot
She was hot hot hot
She was hot hot hot
She was hot hot hot
She was hot hot hot
