Way back when they were rhinestone cowboys and the stage was a prairie complete with a live bison and hawk, of the '70s to the sharp dressed men of the '80s and beyond. When I was a kid watching music videos I always found ZZTop"s videos quite fun...still are. Hands down tho, they are one of the very best and iconic rock bands and influences during their time. Even today, who can resist a classic by them? I still remember Don Cherry using SHARP DRESSED MAN as his intro on Hockey Night in Canada during mid - late 1980's and a bit longer
Once upon a time, rock artists produced quality songs both lyrically and musically. It was a delight for the ears of every rock music lover. You could listen to it endlessly. It had a special impact for many. The sixties, seventies, eighties... great times... or in other words, heydays for rock music...! I just love The Eliminator 33 ford coupe! Every time I hear a ZZ Top song on radio I think about my dad 😔 because he loved their music, the woman and of course the cars. 😊
But you just said you did grow old - from a boy to a middle aged man - and you kept loving this song. So, you will get older and have to tell us in, say, 30 years that you are a very old man and love this song.

I'll be there soon with the lights.

You’re right. Players like that don’t need to shred. He does it all with textures. It’s the economy of his soloing that gives it its power. Hendricks rated him
The guy at the gas station in ZZ Top's "Gimme All Your Lovin'" music video is played by actor and stuntman Peter Tramm. In the video, he portrays a frustrated mechanic who works at a small gas station. He’s stuck in a rut until three mysterious, stylish women show up in the band's iconic red 1933 Ford Coupe. They whisk him away on a joyride, leading him to embrace a more adventurous and rock-and-roll lifestyle.

@@exspiravit6920 thank you for your kind message . In Europe , most of the people like what comes from USA (except wars) . Yes i like a lot your music . Bruce Springsteen and many others.
I remember this song from my pops. We are not from US we are actually from small country in Europe, Serbia, but i rember on log trips he would rock these guys and speed like 120 mph on the highway. Oh i remember my mom screaming to slow down. Miss pops forever a badass
It’s actually a 33 Ford not a 34. They put the 33 on permanent display at the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Billy had a clone made, it was made from a 34. He allows it to tour and do shows. He also drives that around occasionally.
I remember the first time I heard this on the radio. I was in my early 20s, I thought then that I was over Rock, I had moved on to more sophisticated types of music like jazz, then this song came on...I will be forever grateful to these guys for rekindling my love with Rock music. Thankyou from the bottom of my Rock and Roll heart ZZ Top.
Lol first time I heard zz top I was roughly 5 years old and my dad was sitting there jamming on his bass along with this then 11 years later it's the song I was blasting when I got my first traffic stop lol cop caught me pulling 80 in a 55 and let me off with a warning since I was a stupid kid
I saw ZZ Top in concert last year with my girlfriend Mindy at the Star Lake Amphitheater in Burgettstown, PA and they were absolutely awesome! Fantastic show! The boys still have it all these years later :)
I gave this album to my children to listen too, they instantly loved this song. As parents we always must build a bridge for our children to reach us and music is no exception to that rule. Later when they were teens they purchased a CD featuring this same song, reminding me that they still loved me, even when I no longer was present daily.
The coolest rif in the music world. I love it. Never gets old & the drumming is sharp as well. Rockin out to this in 2022. Get yer rock on. Air guitar, air drumming. Love it. 🎸 🥁 😊 ❤️
My first time hearing ZZ Top was while picking up a old Camaro for parts. The tape deck had ZZ Top's Eliminator in it. Instead of pulling the car for parts we wound up taking apart the tape deck for a few hours to save the tape. Well worth every second spent!
Every time I see this video, I immediately go back to 1983 when I'd come home from class and turn on MTV and just have it on all day, casually watching this video, then have have Quiet Riot come on, followed by Ah Ha, Culture Club, Depeche Mode, even Marvin Gaye and others. Just great stuff. But that was when MTV was owned by a couple of guys and not by an entertainment conglomerate.
Rest In Peace Dusty Hill, 72 is such a young age to go these days, he can go and join that huge band that somebody is creating in the heavens, with the likes of freddie mercury, david bowie, chuck berry, prince, george michael,Lemmy and so many others now

Saw them in concert once. Amazing show. IN between the Eliminator and the Afterburner albums. One of the best stage shows I've seen. RIP Dusty. You will live on forever in our hearts and in your music. It will be difficult if not impossible to replace your talent.
Love ZZ Top and their amazing music 🎶 🎵. They are legendary musicians and artists 🎨. I love this video too. They are bad ass. They are rock and roll. My generation is the best hands down.
My dad passed away yesterday and now I'm making a playlist with all the songs he loved and I remember him by. This is one of them. Thank you dad for showing me the greatest artists of all times. Loved, missed and never forgotten 🤘🔥❤👃
I love how Frank Beard adds tambourine to his drumming on the second verse. A real nice subtle touch that mixes it up a bit and makes the song even more dynamic sounding.
Drum machines were used on the final recording of Eliminator. Same goes for the bass. It was just Billy Gibbons, Bill Ham and Linden Hudson (who?) in the studio for the majority of the sessions. Type "ZZ Top Eliminator Original Rehearsal Tapes" into youtube and read the comments from Linden (Alleyman444) himself. They're long and drawn out but he tells it how it is. The poor guy was ripped off despite creating the synth driven beat behind most of the album.
I saw them in 86 on the Afterburner tour at The Meadowlands in Jersey. The entire stage was set up to look like a Dashboard. As the concert played, the gas gauge went down. Damn good show.
I got to see ZZ top live in 2016. They were electrifying and I've never been to a better concert. Some of the best jam music one can find and just good driving music. Top notch performers and music.
Totally agree, I wasn't even born in the 80's yet this song is really nostalgic for me. Probably cause my dad kept playing songs on his speaker late night...

Lord have mercy one of the best rock song openings ever...😍❤️🔥😍
My Dad recently passed away and i remember singing along to this song as a kid with him.
Great song, so many memories.
Rest in peace Dusty. :(

Dusty's now headed down that road over the horizon, see you out there someday brother.
I hope it was the ford
Alter, da musste ja ungefähr in meinem Alter sein 😅😁😉
I remember this song from my pops. We are not from US we are actually from small country in Europe, Serbia, but i rember on log trips he would rock these guys and speed like 120 mph on the highway. Oh i remember my mom screaming to slow down. Miss pops forever a badass
To rođo!
You mean serbiia has roads never mind ones that you can do 120mph i dont think so keep dreaming though lol
Wouldn't it be kilometers/hour in serbia
In Serbia, the rock and roll drive you!
Zdravo!
No matter how many years pass, this song will stay in our hearts forever!💖
👍👍👌👌
Yep! This was the first ZZ Top song I ever heard, way back in 1983, and it's still my favorite! 👍 🕶

The best 3 man band of all time
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble have entered the chat....
Back in the 80's that 34 Ford Deuce Coupe was considered the ultimate hot rod and every hotrodder was trying to emulate it! Still an awesome machine
,,, and the sound of small block chevy in a ford. Just not right.
I would love to see this car on Jay Leno's Garage.
That car was stolen long time ago
It’s actually a 33 Ford not a 34.
They put the 33 on permanent display at the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Billy had a clone made, it was made from a 34. He allows it to tour and do shows. He also drives that around occasionally.
Cyril Hudak thank you! I totally agree!!
It was at a time when songs had meaning and melodies were great❤
R.I.P Dusty Hill and Thank You for the Rock N Roll Years.❤
I remember the first time I heard this on the radio.
Still rockin 2022
Hell yeah
Zz top nos chers papy sont la rock 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Count Basie su,,ed it up, there are twp kinds pf music, good ,usic and the other kind!
RIP Dusty Hill who will forever be remembered and live on through these videos for generations to see.
Their music has always been in my play list. Love the old school rock. R.I.P. Dusty Hill
Good glad to please 🙏🏻✌️🫶
I saw ZZ Top in concert last year with my girlfriend Mindy at the Star Lake Amphitheater in Burgettstown, PA and they were absolutely awesome! Fantastic show! The boys still have it all these years later :)
Saw them live also they are better after all 50 plus years of original experience together.
I saw ZZ Top 2 years ago in Vancouver and they were great.
RIP Dusty, legends never die!
I gave this album to my children to listen too, they instantly loved this song. As parents we always must build a bridge for our children to reach us and music is no exception to that rule. Later when they were teens they purchased a CD featuring this same song, reminding me that they still loved me, even when I no longer was present daily.
Listen too?
if you want your kids to be straight, full of life and imagination adults theres nothing better, tested ;)
The coolest rif in the music world. I love it. Never gets old & the drumming is sharp as well. Rockin out to this in 2022. Get yer rock on. Air guitar, air drumming. Love it. 🎸 🥁 😊 ❤️
Glad to have been able to contribute to this album and be named in the credits. A wonderful group of people.
Dam listen to this on Friday and Saturday nights cruising around town in my 67 goat. Dam miss those days
What’s the goats name?
Fixing to go down on some hairy beaver
My first time hearing ZZ Top was while picking up a old Camaro for parts. The tape deck had ZZ Top's Eliminator in it. Instead of pulling the car for parts we wound up taking apart the tape deck for a few hours to save the tape. Well worth every second spent!
The best highway cruising Rock music
Only ZZ TOP
Dusty Hill, you will be greatly missed. Thanks for your amazing talent and energy through the many years of rocking out. Rest in peace.
Thanks for reminding me of quiet riot I just love the old music the music now a days is junk
Don't worry Dusty... Lemmy Kilmister, Bon Scott, Malcolm Young, Randy Rhoads and many more legends will give you all their lovin 🤍
Are you implying they're all going to have an orgy together????

Gibbons is/was a fantastic guitar player - firmly rooted in the blues.
SUPER zz top
One day we'll hear Dusty play that bass again. For now god has one of the best performers this Earth has ever known.
I'm sure GOD appreciates that.

Wish I could have seen them live, the docco on netflix was awesome just like their music.
Saw them in concert once. Amazing show. IN between the Eliminator and the Afterburner albums. One of the best stage shows I've seen. RIP Dusty. You will live on forever in our hearts and in your music. It will be difficult if not impossible to replace your talent.
Gimme all your lovin all your hugs and kisses to😎
Jealous. I should have made it a priority a long time ago to see these guys.
Love ZZ Top and their amazing music 🎶 🎵. They are legendary musicians and artists 🎨. I love this video too. They are bad ass. They are rock and roll. My generation is the best hands down.
It was Degüello that first (Texas-)rocked my world as a teenager in the 70s. Thanks guys so much for the great days. RIP Dusty.
Dusty didn't die, he just ascended to the biggest stage up there in the sky. Rock on Dusty🎸
If Dusty died in the state of Grace he is in Heaven entertaining the LORD and the Twelve; if not...well...sorry 'bout that. Great group!

wow rip dusty! glad we got to see them at foxwoods in 2019
The best 3 man ever. Rock! Rock on in heaven Dusty. Thank you for giving us decades of excellent rock and roll.
I love how Frank Beard adds tambourine to his drumming on the second verse. A real nice subtle touch that mixes it up a bit and makes the song even more dynamic sounding.
D.A. Thorndike why is Frank Beard the only guy without one? The mysteries of life....
D.A Thondike, I agree, the tambourine is overlooked, but provides that “cherry on top” enhancement to most solo’s in many rock songs...
@@michaeljkowar Overcompensation laddie.
I was gonna point out the exact same thing. When that tambourine comes in at the 2nd verse, it's just sublime. And that guitar solo-so sweet.
Dusty lives on through all of us jamming to his slick riffs and vocals. RIP DUSTY! LEGEND!!
ZZ Top will always be awesome Also RIP Dusty you will be missed RIP you won’t ever be forgotten
What is GREAT song 👌
one of the last concerts before "the Thing"....
Gratitude to have been able to see them live. RIP Dusty.
I saw them in 86 on the Afterburner tour at The Meadowlands in Jersey. The entire stage was set up to look like a Dashboard. As the concert played, the gas gauge went down. Damn good show.
This song is 42 years old but still sounds as fresh as in 1983, anyone agree???
I agree this is very good even fantastic...
It’s called... “timeless”... 😉
always will
I strongly agree... Zztop rules 😎
Grew up listening to this classic. My grandmother had the Eliminator on cassette. Beats that pop and hip hop crap kids listen to now.
RIP Rusty....love this band...always will
I got to see ZZ top live in 2016. They were electrifying and I've never been to a better concert. Some of the best jam music one can find and just good driving music. Top notch performers and music.
I was fortunate enough to see them in early December 1990 at the Cow Palace in Daly City, Calif. Great show. 👍 🕶
There are certain 80’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.
Totally agree, I wasn't even born in the 80's yet this song is really nostalgic for me. Probably cause my dad kept playing songs on his speaker late night...
Totally. You said it perfectly
The clip, music not so much, could have happened any time too, not as charts material these days though.
Happy Anniversary to Eliminator, released March 23rd 1983,Masterpiece❤My favorite album from the band, thanks to one of my uncle who offered me this record for Christmas, still listening and essential to play drums, all songs are great❤
The Ultimate 80's Icon!!!! ZZ-TOP lives Forever with muscle hot rods, beautiful women, and hot grooving heavy blues chords!!!!!! 😎
My first experience of ZZ Top was the Eliminator album, fantastic album! Needs to be played loud! There is going to be a huge given in heaven tonight for sure!!! ROCK ON!!
