Chill out dude this was 1964-65 America. Men his age hadn't accepted long hair yet. Red was actually a very good comedian. He put them on didn't he? By the way Wyman and Watts are about 15 years older than me. I was 9 or 10 when they appeared here.
I had to check the comments to see if someone could verify that WAS Red Skelton introducing them. I’m only 52, so this was 5 years before I was born. My mother was a big Red Skelton fan and I have a great appreciation for him as a result. Awesome to see him in this video.
Watts and Wyman were perfect deadpan counterparts to the more animated Jagger and Richards. Brian comes across as amiably shy. But they all had great stage presence in their own ways.
At 73 this one brings me right back. I was a DJ at a very small radio station in Oklahoma and this was the year of the British invasion into our musical lives. I was 16 and spun this 45 so many times you couldn't read the label. What a legacy that they continue to make.
@@okie3807 Sounds like a teen's dream job! The 3pm-6pm slot at KLCO in Poteau was DJ'd by the station owner's two teenage kids in the mid 60s. He let them play whatever they wanted. I owe them for introducing me to some great music. Late night KAAY in Little Rock also a big influence for me.
My all time favourite group , since I was a kid and drove my parents mad playing their music , over and over again......who would of thought in the 60’s we would still be listening to them in 2021 and beyond...... I don’t expect they thought that either..... 😁. And STILL UTTERLY AMAZING , 👍❤️, sadly Charlie has now gone. I'm 71 also, I remember watching the Red Skeleton show as a teenager.
I turned 69 years old November 2023 and time is such a fleeting moment I our life's the saddest thing in my life is living without everyone 💔 I loved and made my 🌎 world a better place and added so very much to one another's lifes
Bobby Womack song from US recordings when they learned their chops. Been my favourite ever since. Man seems that way for the compare. Made Stones seem tame. Cry to me whenever I see Brian. Miss him so much.
This always reminds me of my youth, at the fairground on the waltzers, and this playing at about ninety decibels. Magic.
Be happy in Heaven, Charlie. You did a great job. Same goes for Jones - his riffs were the first thet came in my boys ears... same goes for Keiths play !!!
Да здравствует рок-н-ролл!! 🎸🎸2021-

Charlie and Brian are jamming up there.
@@user-ih1ko4uy2p именно так
Amazing this is about 60 years ago now, how young and talanted they where. Mick and Keith still going strong, hope they live forever. Rip Brian and Charlie and I almost forgot Bill is still here too even if he quit the band many years ago.
Bill retired at age 65 to do other things, has a sweatshirt with "Done rolling" embroidered on it, nice guy👍👍😊
It’s hard to believe that anyone would give this great song and great band a down vote.
Well they were kinda >>> SATANIC !!!
@@jerryshunk7152
Satanic?? How so? Please explain.
@@ericwright2763 1967 Album >>> "At His Satanic Majesty's Request !" 1968 Song "Sympathy for the Devil !" Plenty of other info if you research !
@@jerryshunk7152
Pastors, ministers, preachers and so forth speak and preach about satanic topics of many natures, as well as actors, singers, songwriters and people in general. It is not meant in all cases by those who speak and sing about such subjects, to imply that satanism is their lifestyle of choice. And by the way, how can one be “kinda satanic” lol… either you are or you are not.

Takes me back so many years. One of my fave bands.

This Music Is in my HEART & SOUL!!!! It Doesn't get any BETTER than THIS!!!
Brian Jones looked happy and had a great smile. He was good looking too. RIP Brian.
Right poor guy
Mick was overshadowed by Brian's presence. Brian had a natural charm
@@frankgomez7066 Brian was a psychopath. Well maybe not, but he had serious problems, as well as a horrible accent.
He was a nasty guy, used to beat women up.
@@gibbogle yes he did, but I never heard the guys did much to stop him. But whatever, I don't miss him.
God I loved red Skelton, love these old clips of bands when they were young , watched these with the family as a kid!
Bad ads
Who is this asshole Skelton?
Alan McNeil - You have answered your own question.
Chill out dude this was 1964-65
America. Men his age hadn't accepted long hair yet.
Red was actually a very good comedian. He put them on didn't he?
By the way Wyman and Watts
are about 15 years older than me.
I was 9 or 10 when they appeared
here.
Red Skelton was awesome introducing this. Great timing
Red Skelton...what an icon. As are the Stones.
In '64 I was a sophomore in high, high, high school.
Funny
It never got better than this. So great.
OMG! The early Stones hosted by Red Skelton. What a couple of icons.
Wonder if he had them on because they had the same initials, RS?
@@jockellis 🤣😂
And Skelton skewered them before they played...and England.
I had to check the comments to see if someone could verify that WAS Red Skelton introducing them.
I’m only 52, so this was 5 years before I was born. My mother was a big Red Skelton fan and I have a great appreciation for him as a result. Awesome to see him in this video.
Awesome talent with awesome songs galore ,...the Stones forever !!!
They outlasted the Beatles by 50 years!
Real musicians doing real rock music! Watts just as cool here as he ever was, so detached!
Perfectly said, that's was part of his charm.
Watts and Wyman were perfect deadpan counterparts to the more animated Jagger and Richards. Brian comes across as amiably shy. But they all had great stage presence in their own ways.
@@LerafoLuap Very, very true about Charlie. I always loved his poker face.
At 73 this one brings me right back. I was a DJ at a very small radio station in Oklahoma and this was the year of the British invasion into our musical lives. I was 16 and spun this 45 so many times you couldn't read the label. What a legacy that they continue to make.
Wow!! You were right in there amongst it. Brilliant !
(I'm also 73)
Was that station KLCO?
@@IsaacAsimov1992 The Beatles had just hit as well and both sides of every Capitol records 45 were hits. It was an amazing time for music.
@@sittinginthebasement It was a small 250 watt station in Madill, OK KMAD.
But I hope they carry on , they are part of so many peoples past, us oldies have known and loved all our lives.
RIP Charlie Watts🤍
RIP Brian Jones🤍
So Sorry Charlie Watts rip you very dear fella ,,,,What a great drummer you have been for all these many decades xxx good night godbless xx
I remember way back when they first appeared on tv.I'm 72 now.Incredible remembering .I still love their songs.
It's still not over nearly 60 years later.
