This is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s not even really A SONG, it’s mainly an audio commentary on Issei Sagawa set to an ultra dated Miami Vice muzak dance piece. I hate the talking Mick does in the song more than almost anything. The production is also terrible. You listen to this thing and it’s carbon-dated; you just know right away that it’s from late 1984, and it sticks out like a sore thumb caught in a car door.

BTW, FYI the horns on this song and video are by C.H.O.P.S., a horn section used by the early rappers/hip-hoppers when they still had musicians backing them up. No sampling. And when rap was fun, not gangsta or porno.

Agreed, it's actually one of my favorites. Very poignant, foreboding lyrics, Jagger saw the coming age and called it out for what it was/is.
