RIP Charlie. He held the Stones together through Mick’s narcissism, Keith’s drug addiction, and all the band’s rock ‘n’ roll antics.
A true English gentleman, and a helluva drummer.
He was quite the gentleman, a very talented drummer and from what I've observed, a very kind soul. Saw them perform in 2019 in MetLife Stadium with my boyfriend and we were like the youngest people there. We had such a blast! I miss Charlie a lot already.
Unfortunately people like Charlie was, a true english lord, are nowadays a vanishing breed in this strange new treacherous world we're living in....RIP Charlie...you will never be forgotten...

Every generation becomes a Stones fan at some point. I'm an 80's generation Stones fan that loves all of their work.
I grew up a Beatles and Zepplin fan, overlooked the Stones for years. As I got older and appreciated the blues sound more and more I realized the genius of the Stones sound

@@jpcodnia9133 Did you read Pamela Desbarres book "I'm With The Band?" She talks about how some of her peers were Beatles fans but some preferred The Stones. She had a fling with Jim Morrison (among other men) and they were another group not like the Beatles, who were "nicer." Some people prefer the grungier garage rock style of the Stones.
