@@JulienHimself Massive respect for what? You got some guy to make up a bullshit reason as to why his father left him at a young age. You literally drove your questioning towards the guy in a direction that would lead to him bashing himself as a person, when his father leaving him had absolutely fucking nothing to do with him.
Maybe he just had a shit father. Shit fathers exist. Shit mothers exist. There is nothing more to ask or explain.
This is my problem with self help gurus on the internet. Yall always try to make things that are out of our control & contextualize them to fit this narrative that it is our faults.
I pray that one day a rape survivor comes to your bullshit events & you have the courage to look him/her in the eyes & tell them that them getting raped was their faults. I pray every day for that to happen.
Oh, and before you think about deleting my comment, I’ve already screenshotted my comment and I will continue to post every day until my message gets across that self help is bullshit & that yall are scammers.

Julien bro, I cant thank you enough, After going through HVC (Especially the letting go meditations) I started being social as FUCK, not a day goes by where I don't make a new friend. I literally talk with everyone I can, Last week I organized a BBQ and invited a bunch of people, made loads of new friends and afterwards was talking to every person passing by to the point where my friends had to pull me away cause I would just have conversations with everyone.
This is a HUGE improvement from 1 year ago, or even couple months ago when I had severe social anxiety and couldn't express myself let alone THINK of approaching a random stranger!

Just a suggestion , perhaps doing the 360degree camera at these seminars so people could feel what it’s like to be there, perhaps that may amplify feelings and the realness in these conversations for some people, I know VR is not common everywhere but it a lot bigger than you’d imagine and I’d love to watch these feeling like I’m in the room, I’d imagine there would be other people like me.? Just a suggestion.

I study social work presently and we are taught to learn the tool of introspection and man this is not always funny because once you start going that route of introspecting everything, a lot of deep issues can come to the surface, I think this what Julien refers in this video, it is to allow ourselves to experience those deep issues to really start working on them!
Shoot the whole video 😅 I would like to see practical ways we can address those a issues with people who are concerned by them!

I wouldn't call it intimidation but an approach. The kid was losing himself in deep traumatic thoughts, Julian had to snap him back to reality. Nothing like a physical touch. You know, the ones that make you feel like home. That kid is carrying one heavy burden.

Why are people sooooo concerned about things not “being their fault”…. People everyday say “ but it’s not my fault”….. I want everyone to starting telling them things are their fault, because that’s the only way they can fix things…. People use the words, it’s not my fault as a way to not have to fix things in their life…. When you start saying to yourself, it’s my fault, your life will start getting better….

Because when they leave and you are still a kid your brain is not fully developed to process it logically and you think there must be something wrong with you since your own parent the person who was supposed to care for you and protect you just left without carrying. By the time you grow up a lot of self esteem and self worth issues are already ingrained in you and most of the time it is difficult to get rid of them without getting help. You can't fully understand unless you experienced it. I'm guessing you never did...

My father abandoned me and it has caused me some sort of anguish and hurt. Bad self talk is one of those symptoms, I'm sure. It's not an easy thing to go through. Once you've experienced abandonment at a young, impressionable age then you'll know what has changed. I'm assuming that has never happened to you so you don't really understand. Either that, or you're lying to yourself. And I'm saying this in a calm and gentle way.
