Hey Robbie, the "extra" piece of interior is on the tailgate, this is the piece you are looking at when its open, right at the spoiler from the inside.
That chattering sound your clutch makes is your twindisk. It is the middle disk that's floating when you press the pedal. It's supposed to do that :). Some sound worse then others but all twindisk clutches rattle!
@@siennaslaugh8900 well that's just it, that rattle sound could be the throw out bearing, but it is likely because it's a dual clutch and the clutches will only do that when the clutch pedal is "in" or disengaged. Take a google at "twin disc clutch sound" or even th-cam.com/video/Cf8qXFHSxEA/w-d-xo.html
@@SuperBailey sorry I may have worded that incorrectly I mean when the clutch is out because my car does it if the clutch is in it's fine but when I let off I can hear a rattle and I assumed it was my throwout I just wasn't sure
@@siennaslaugh8900 no that's likely a clutch or transmission issue, because when your foot isn't on the clutch pedal the throw out bearing shouldn't be touching the pressure plate
Hey Robbie, Love the progress on the nuggety Civic. When it comes to 10:57, I simply moved the head unit to the bottom and installed a plate that can hold 3 gages at the top. 10 minute install and no trimming needed cuz both slots are 1 DIN. Glad if I could help. Stay safe. :)
In my ek, the gauges are up top where the radio originally sits. I moved that down to the spot just above the cupholder. Maybe an idea if you want the gauges up top!
you can move the radio down there, you get the console out, that piece of plastic gets out with screws and it's pretty much the perfect size left in that frame for a radio. And in the radio place you can put 3 gauges
The chattering is just a thing that twin disk clutches do. Also sounds like you have a miss fire one one or two cylinders still. Could be tune related but just do another once over and make sure spark and injectors are firing on all cylinders before you run it to much more. Good job man keep it up!!!!
Hi Robbie ! Love your work here from France ! I have also an ek civic and the last piece at the end of the video is supposed to go in the interior just behind the rear wing !
@Robbie Ferreira are you ever gonna do a mild stance build? Like a little stretch tire and camber or is it not your cup of tea if it is, I definitely wanna see how you take it on been sticking here for soooo long
Did a bit of looking and it turns out the clutch is meant to make that noise because of something called the floater plate which is in between the clutch and flywheel love your channel keep doing what you doing #staycommitted
Love that song at 11:50 gives me Brent vibes hahaha I think it’s perfect for this video too because Honda😂 By the way, clutch sounds like you may need a clutch stop. When running a twin disc, especially with these k series, if the pedal engagement is too high, it will over extend and rub on something in the rotating assembly, can’t think of it on the top of my head. I’d give that a try first.
Shattered my ankle on the weekend, so robbie, you better start putting out more videos for me to watch 🤣 but seriously though I only watch you and Rob Dahm.. so let's gooooooo haha
That noise you're hearing is you're over extending the clutch peddle which is over pressurizing the the throw-out bearing. You probably don't have the clutch stop that's supposed to be in the firewall. If you don't have that and keep over pressurizing the throw-out bearing it will explode. Ask me how I know 🙃
Robbie, does the clutch have more than one plate? If so that's just what they sound like. I do tractor pulling and all of our tractors that have twin plate clutches sound exactly like that when you have the pedal pressed...
That piece (I think, used to own a corsa lite, very similar shape) is a trim around the door. Like if I remember correctly it's the piece between the window and the door
yoooooooo mine clutch does the same thing in my hatch. If I press the clutch all the way to the floor it grinds and wont go into gear. I just dont press it all the way. brand new clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing and throw out. Mines a B series tho but the clutch has no problems the last 5k miles.
Robbie, i think the awful clutch noise is just the characteristics of a twin disc clutch. some vary in noise but as far as i know thats what the noise is and is completely normal. you will probably just need to get used to the noise.
Robbie keep the interior stock except....... change the carpet to black bro stealth sleeper with black tint.... maybe try doing tint yourself that would be a good video...
They make the hockey tape specifically for wires, they just call it friction tape. Whether or not there's any difference, not sure. But it's what VW uses on all their looms.
love the fact that you are keeping a full interior. a lot of the civic builds go for the full track car set up and gut them but it looks so much better with all of the seats in!
As a honda owner myself, I actually think the stock steering wheels are pretty cool :D Okay maybe not with that stupid Honda cover, but I always thought it's a cool looking wheel.
Hey Robbie, the "extra" piece of interior is on the tailgate, this is the piece you are looking at when its open, right at the spoiler from the inside.
She's 100% right^
was about to comment this lol
Was thinking it looms like its from the boot i know nothing about honda interiors but have stripped many cars
Exactly what I tought!
@@KasamS i've never stripped a car but i imagined it belonged in that area too

I found Robbie halfway through the Brz series and I'm glad I stuck around.
I got here a little bit after the body kit was put on
I found him when he made a vid that he ordered a Karma bodykit
I was looking to buy a civic when he got Jasmine, that's how I found him
found robbie when he bought jasmin
I found him when he bought Jasmine... saved me from suicide
When he said "a seat won't help I need lunch!" I felt that. I truly did
The 8 y/o trying to drive in the garage got me good xD
Robbie the spare piece is the top half of the tailgate. It covers the spoiler bolts
Anyone notice how when he hit the car to show everything is fastened , it sounded like Phill Collins In the Air Tonight 🤔
That sound when you put the clutch in its the clutch pieces rattling, not the throw out bearing. Welcome to multi-plate clutch life
what about if it rattle when you disengage the clutch? would that be the throwout bearing?
@@siennaslaugh8900 well that's just it, that rattle sound could be the throw out bearing, but it is likely because it's a dual clutch and the clutches will only do that when the clutch pedal is "in" or disengaged. 2:53 look like a little guy driving is first manual car😂
he do be lookin` like slammed civic owners here haha

7:25 "i can feel it coming in the air tonight"
Lol i was trying to find this comment
Lol, definitely hear it now🤣
Props bro i was totaly going to call it !😂
Was thinking the same thing!
That trim goes on the boot along the top of the window .. keep upnthe great work mate .. sending love from australia
Yo can you call Brad and tell him to upload some stuff on his S Chas?!?

The clutch is a twin disk that’s a good sound when you engage the clutch
“It’s finaly tuning under its own power I’m never pushing it again” 1 minute later. “So I had to push it in”
hey Robbie, if you're looking for a multifunction gauge, Perfect Tuning makes the best one!
Doesnt that extra piece go at the very back of the headliner?
I love the interior of this thing, idk why but the clean and simple looks is nice
I just binged this entire playlist. New sub here for sure!
On the brz to eliminate the gauges you should do a digital dash. There are some really nice but not super expensive ones.

Glad to see you grinding bro! Keep at it!
Paint the intercooler front pipe bumper so that you cant see it from the front, helps with the stealth look
The best example of the phrase “Stay Committed”💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Please be *COMMITTED* and post more updates on the Honda K series build please.🥺
She's looking SWEET💯💥

This build is so sick and appreciable 🔥
You think I could use hockey tape on a wiring harness on my sti that sits underneath the intake manifold? Or is that too much heat? Idk

You should totally stream days like this on twitch
Robbie, does the clutch have more than one plate? If so that's just what they sound like. I do tractor pulling and all of our tractors that have twin plate clutches sound exactly like that when you have the pedal pressed...
Last piece looks like either the bottom door sil, or the top of the rear hatch trim. Above the glass on the inside.
I love it whenever Robbie posts always 🔥🔥🔥
That piece (I think, used to own a corsa lite, very similar shape) is a trim around the door. Like if I remember correctly it's the piece between the window and the door
Lol toddler Robbie trying to drive the civic was my life most days. Amazing
I had a big turbo VW Passat, and i had one of the multi gauges in it, and it is 100% worth it! I think i had a p3? It was called.
s2k steering wheel would be cleeeaaaaaan
Robbie did you fix the rod on the slave cylinder yet? Also the rattle noise you hear when the clutch is depressed is the twin disk. It’s normal
You should get bucket seat for the driver side. Slight hint but doesn’t give them enough confidence bc of the stock passenger seat
I noticed the door has a few dings, just an idea carbon doors and paint them to keep the sleeper look.
Can't wait to build something like this, honda's are so much fun man
Been here since 20k....best choice of my life to stick around
Getting those pipes powder coated black would look amazing
8:00 literally acurate af...both of my hondas have exactly that type of steering wheel hahahahha
I think that interior piece is the trim that hides the rear spoiler bolts

2:48 Robbie looks like a little Timothy driving for the first time lmao
Hey Robbie I love the videos man. I just bought my first car which is a 1998 Ek it has a B16y nothing special but I plan on building her up
Oh yeah. Been waiting for this all winter

That piece at the end looks like it came from by the hatch maybe? Like at the back of the trunk
the only thing that didn't work for Robbie but everyone was so happy that it didn't work was him trying to sell Jasmine
If he tries again he should only be able to sell it to one of us.
@@supedupcoupe6690 well he better fucking not
are you thinking of doing an undertray? such a nice engine bay but itll prob get quite dirty.
Robbie keep the interior stock except....... change the carpet to black bro stealth sleeper with black tint.... maybe try doing tint yourself that would be a good video...
Yoo clean build... cant wait to see it runnn
12:52 check your pilot bearing.mine went out and caused that sound on my old car.
hey. just wondering witsh year moddel the sivic is? absolutly live the car bor
Love you man ❤️
Great progress 🔥
How does the hockey tape loom hold up to the engine heat?
Honestly my favorite build so clean
The civic looks so fire without the front bumper! 🔥👌
Make sure you secure that whole clip where the radio sits because especially when you make power it’s gonna jump out.
“wow what a piece of shit. AND I LIKE IT!” 😂
Does that trim piece maybe go on the inside of the hatch?
it should sit on the tailgate above the rear window and cover the screws for the wing
NO WAY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID😌
You should paint the intercooler piping black so that it's less noticeable.
The best part is my committed crew 3d hoodie showed up just as I hit play on the video
What about the restock of the wind breaker ?
They make the hockey tape specifically for wires, they just call it friction tape. Whether or not there's any difference, not sure. But it's what VW uses on all their looms.
There’s an automotive wiring loom tape called tesa tape, it’s like hockey tape but most manufacturers use it
I can’t wait for the Nissan 300zx content!!!!
Ayyy finally a new video, been waiting for this #committedcrew ♥️
7:24 sick drum beat bro 😂

Check your drive shafts, 1 might be in and 1 might be out, happened with mine
I'm back have to watch now after work
that extra part looks like it could be trip for a door or maybe in the boot?
Robbie, this was epic! God bless
Sleeper look is fire! 🔥
You mean stock? Lol
I thought I was watching a Dustin Williams video with the music and edits. 😂
That extra plastic is for the rear hatch where the wing bolts to
I told you that clutch was hard to drive and it's going to chatter a lot because it's a twin disc with no spring
I have the exact same problem but it's when I didn't press the clutch it scrapes the bearing
Yessir civic content👍😁
Need to put a gromet of some kind by where the loom goes through the fender
what coilovers you running on this build
Relocate the stereo to the bottom, then custom gaige panels across!
This man is such a vibe tho :)
Lets goo! Makes me wanna get the k24 i have into my 96 hatchback!
YEA BOIII SHE RUNNING
do not forget to install the wheel bolts for ur safety
