Ok.. I gotta say. I'm impressed. Schematics. You're actually able to read and trouble shoot now. Ya, you got lucky but you did it. That's all part of it. Hard work does pay off. Congrats!
When you diagnose an electrical problem with schematics, my advice is to check fuses first, then grounds, usually one of those is bound to open the circuit.
Check your engine harness ground. That grounds your ecu , it’s either loose or the connection is not strong enough. I had the same exact issue. I relocated the engine harness ground to the intake manifold and it worked.
Nice to see the S10 in the garage, also I'm studying wiring diagrams in college and I hate it soo much, so I know the suffering, but you keep me going🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🚘
My theory is that maybe when you left the ecu just there hanging since you were going to keep messing with it somehow during all those times you moved it and during the dyno maybe with vibration something got loose? I hope it was that and not something more complicated
No pump or cel = pcm not powering on. So power, ground, keyed power. If any of thats missing at the pcm it wont power on and throw cel or prime pump. Use this for direction next time it messes up.
I used to be a mechanic for a major car manufacturer in the uk and I seen this Exact thing happen to the master technicians they would spend days testing a car and then fix it without knowing what it actually was then have to write in the job card what they done to fix it and then it goes down as a loose connecting or something like that and the customer has no idea how much effort really went into fixing there car and it’s happening more often due to the amount of electronics in cars now.
I’m glad to see you got it running man, these kind of problems can be really disheartening and it’s good to see you found the determination to solve it so we can finally see it make some power. I would have honestly just shoved the car in the corner for a while.
My 400hp d16 started knocking (spun a bearing). I parked it for a few days and then went and started it up and it was no longer knocking and drives great. Sometimes you just need to pretend like nothing was wrong in the first place. One day I wanna gap you in my shitbox
Just thinking about this the other day. How the heck does a person that's colorblind wire something up? How do you know which wire is what color? Must be tough.
Think it might have been an engine ground that might have loosened up during the pulls, i know on b series tge thermostat housing ground could give you similar issues if its loose or corroded
Any plans or thoughts to build the trans ? K series trans are glass ! Especially 2nd and 4th they tend to let go if the cars making anything over 400hp and 300tq it’s the only downside to a k series set up
Yo, I would really love to see you guys wrap the jeep in a satin purple, been watching you guys for a while and your the reason I actually got a job wrapping cars. Would love to see you guys take a crack at it😂
My 98 wrangler TJ with the 2.5L 4 cylinder has a similar wiring setup as this EK and I had the same problem and I replaced the ignition because it was faulty so I would give that a try
Once its tuned and pretty much finished. I wonder if you'd be interested in doing a brake booster delete. Clears up a good amount of space between the brake master and turbo. But idk if you want to do the extra work. Just a thought. Great work on fixing the power issue!!
does it seem to anyone else that Robbie is in a cycle of overworking himself then saying he`s getting back to just chilling? I feel like he`s done this once or twice before
When you have a bad ground it usually is grounding from another point on the same circuit, probably you had a bad ground on the same circuit or a loose connection that you fixed and now everything is properly grounded

These are the types of issue that break my spirit with working on cars. Great to see you just keep plugging away!
likely was just a loose ground somewhere that you fix by adding a ground to the ECU
Imagine him hitting the kill switch just right again and it worked without him knowing it
that would be the absolute worst
The hockey tape while working in the engine bay is the most Canadian thing I’ve ever seen

I just wanna see civic completed with flames spitting 🔥🔥

The main relay always needs to be bolted where it’s supposed to go. Thats how its grounded
Anyone else hear that sound at 11:30 !?!?! Lolololol
At 12:32 I felt that pain im sure all honda guys did lmao my trunk does that too

What’s with the random moan at 11:29

Haha taking everything apart and putting it back together always works

Maybe grind down where the ecu is making contact to the metal, make a better connection. (If you havent done that already?)
Looking good!! Day three of telling Robbie to check his DMs cuz I told him how to run the manual ecu in the Genesis with his factory harness! Kyle.451
In the timelapse, the ecu was grounded but the main relay wasn't, that's why it didn't work.
This right here 👏

Where do you get those wiring printouts

question is can it pass smog?
great video my guy! as usual!
Each waste gate spring should be painted a different color. The colors tells you the rating.

Hey Robby I drive a 2000 vw golf full rebuilt engine running 20lbs of boost, if you have any questions to ask me on what you can run let me know!

Damn at 11:30 turn your sound up that glovebox bouta make someone act up … thought I was watching a different video
Great to see it running again!
Why don't u tag your wire's and right the colors on the tag and cause your color blind have someone else do the tags for u
Good old Katie, love you bro ❤

On the topic of not knowing spring sizes. why not hookup a tensioner system to bolt or jack to measure the resistance of the spring? Is this a thing?
does it seem to anyone else that Robbie is in a cycle of overworking himself then saying he`s getting back to just chilling? I feel like he`s done this once or twice before
So close to 300k! Get there man!
if it worked after you reset the battery then its most likely a kill switch somewhere.
Could be ignition switch they wear out the little white plug that hooks up to back of key lock and plugs into fuse box
My mate had same problem with his k swap , was running a de immobilised dc5 ecu and it had to be earthed for some reason ....
at 11:30 whats with that noise lol
Can’t wait for it to make some big numbers I’m calling 380
How this dude get so rich?
He's back baby! Stoked on this new video and what"s to come!

Never thought I’d see someone so happy to see a check engine light😂
What's up with Jasmine? Long time since we've seen her
That’s what the update video on IG is for, if it would let me post it to TH-cam without publishing it like an actual video I’d upload it here to!
