Growing up in a rural area this was one of the few games I had for my TG-16. Many fond memories of this one.
I grew up on this system when my friends all had Nintendo. I have played a lot at their house and I swear this is not being biased, but I truely believe the TG16 had more games that looked and played better. This one, Ninja Spirit, Blazing Lazers, Legendary Axe 1-2, were games that I could play over and over, even to this day.
Ninja Spirit was freakin beautiful...

Dude, the PC Engine was released more than 4 frigging years after the NES and was supposed to be next gen so hopefully games look and sound better :D now when compared to its actual competitors, the Mega Drive and SNES, the PC Engine couldn't really keep up even though there are few instances where games are just as good on NEC console than on Sega's or Nintendo's but that usually cases where the PC Engine needed the CD add-on + system card and even then, it still couldn't reach the same level as the Mega Drive or SNES for the more demading genres such as beat 'em ups, run 'n guns or racing games.
My best friend had a Genesis and I had a TG16 with the CD, and he would always ask to borrow my TG16. Later, I bought an SNES, but we both agreed back then that the TG16 was something special, and we spent more time playing that than anything else. Dungeon Explorer 2 was one of our all-time favs.
canadiens5 T007: Yes way, pal it's all over.
One of my all time favorite Turbografx 16 games.
this game is super fucking awesome!
is an amazingly well done war game that is loads of fun to play and is a game that will live in my memory forever.
One of my favorite games at the time. I vaguely remember using a weird cheat code that let you hover.
That first level music is so rad. A metal band needs to cover that pronto.
Now this is what I call a classic video game! An awesome one too!
At first the game gives the impression that it's just another run-and-gun game but as you play it you discover it has some cool elements that take it apart from the rest: the ability to increase your HP bar, having to save hostages, getting your character arrested at one point and then having to play as another one to save him, diverse objectives on each mission, etc.
I like what they could manage to do with the PC Engine's sound chip, the music was great and the ending was hilarious too. :'D
Fun freaking game....great variety in music, weapons , bosses...
I forget how but when I played this long ago, I had the flamethrower on the first level. Oddly enough, it was very effective against the submarine.
the way the enemies die is funny they look like their cursing god and saying why!!!!
They say, "The Enemy". Should I interpred them as the USSR and CUBA XD
Stage 7 music, awesome. I'm getting a TG-16 again. I must.
I totally forgot that my brother and I had this game. The Turbo Grafx is sorely missed. I would love to have a physical one along with the games that I had again.
Try saying "Mr. President, get in the chopper" in an Arnold Schwarzenegger voice and see how that goes.
Mitchell Patterson oh man yes way out!
I have played this game and it's very good! one of the best for turbografx 16
18:46 most epic part of the game, period
mi jueguito de la infancia wacho q recuerdos
this was one of my first Turbo GT game with Side Arms, both were mindblowing with awesome grafics and sound ! Bloody Wolf was a hell of an action game, it was released a few years after The Predator movie and concentrates all the best of those 80's jungle action movies in one little Hucard. I love the fact that the soldiers could hide under water, the grenades, blood and knife attacks are just super cool ! Just listen the stereo jungle music at 7:00 it's very well composed. I later found out that this game was an arcade hit, but I prefer the PC engine version.
Bloody Wolf (Battle Rangers) is a bloody classic PC engine version
Arnold Schwarzenegger is Eagle
Bruce Willis is Snake
Together they take on the enemy rebel fighters and rescue the president of America
This is a PC engine version of the arcade game with a vengeance 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks for playing!
Awesome game. Easily gives M.E.R.C.S. on Genesis a run for its money
Arnold: The game
That I know Pat Contri Packing Game on Turbografx-16 Console in 1990 that I watch Pat the nes punk review Turbografx-16 and PC Engine
ah nice, one of my favourite games for the TG-16.
this was one of the first games I played for the system I wonder how much a pc engine would cost now I should grabe one awesome playthrough
nostalgia. great music, great game, perfection! btw i m almost certain if u climb on a tree at river level, a kowala drops down, if u pick it up, full gear
Great times.
18:46 - most epic part the game, period
They could of untied the president first after rescuing him 🤣
This game is bloody hard, it reminds me of snakes revenge on nes, in fact this game looks & sounds like a updated nes,so it's not to special, but i do like those cut scenes where you get dropped in another erea, would be nice if the avgn does a review of it.
I just played through this and the ending was slightly different on a TB16.
You'd get a different ending depending on your chosen character.
The bosses are hard, could only finish it with save and load stat, still finished, the pc engine is a console of the 80s,if i am correct, which had street fighter 2,
had i known the longlivety of the pc engine , i would have bought this , almost 16 bit quality from late 80s to about 94-5 , when ps 1 was released. Good, expensive for its time, but worth it.
Hard to believe they weren't profitable
"Yes any more! I'm going to knock them out '
And then at 23:37, it gets a little weird.
Nah. It's just a fictional jungle country, half-poor and half-rich.
eagle - arnold schwarzenegger
snake - bruce willis
Data East made classics
This boss wasn't in the arcade version.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Vin Diesel
In Bloody Wolf
As the lethal duo on the mission to save the president
From enemy forces
😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸
Sooooooo...this is what Bison does with his free time. Throw boomerangs at commandos lol
Shame that Metal Gear got famous and this faded into obscurity, especially considering that this was better!
I thought this game was really good. The best on TG-16.
Eagle - Arnie?
Snake - Bruce Willis?
@juggaloben23 That's exactly what I said lol
Some really bad slowdown there! I'm not knocking it, There's a lot going on at times but you might have thought the programmers might have gone 'lets take a few sprites out, ease the load a bit...' :)
I prefer the sequel, Fucking Wolf
12:18 lol
