    A MUST SEE for pc engine game lovers! The video goes very deep into the details and take the time to show a maximum of pc engine games on Akiba best shelves. So prepare some popcorn and enjoy. Thank you very much Scruffy Looking RGB. I will re-watch and re-watch it and I love the end of the video with the summary/comparison.

    Cotton is always awesome. I'm probably gonna get Cotton Reboot. Got great reviews!

    Halfway though and imo this is one of our best. I like the way you take your time. I would buy Tatsujin and Cotton at those prices in a second. I thought Tatsujin was out of my range before seeing this.

    That was one of the best PC Engine hunt videos. Beautiful cover art and love the old school graphics. Still need to pick up a few of those titles like the Valis series. Too many overpriced copies online. I need to dip into Japan for a hot minute and grab them 🤙

    Great video @scruffy lookin rgb ! Really enjoyed it and love the small price comparison at the end, nice little additional feature.

      Mark G thank you for hanging out at the premiere. Im glad you like the price comparison at the end. Sometimes its really random where you find the best deal. I thought it would be good for others to know that too.

      @@ScruffyLookinRGB I was quite surprised by the fact that SuperPotato was cheaper than Suruga-ya. Or is that a quality issue (like more discoloration on the SuperPotatoe ones)?

    I miss akiba *akihabara* I lived in Japan for 7 years and this was one of my usual spots to hang out on weekends. I'm in China now and cant wait for the border to open back up for tourists. :D:D

      Im guessing you lived in or near tokyo to be going to akihabara every week end. Sweet! I hope borders open up again soon too. This lock down stuff is not good for anyone

      @@ScruffyLookinRGB Ueno and Akihabara were my 2 normal places. Plan to do paranormal ghost and gold panning vids in Japan once I move back. China is ok but miss Japan.

    34:16 They have Genji Tsuushin Agedama loose here. I haven´t played it yet, but many hold this run ´n gun autoscroller in high regard!

      Thanks for sharing. I will take a look into it sounds like one right up my alley🙏

    • @bjornh1527
      @bjornh1527 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I tried it today for the first time and it’s another odd one.
      Have you played Wonderboy Monster Lair on Sega or PCE CD? The best way I could describe Genji Tsuujin Agedama is the autoscrolling platformstages of Monster Lair, but with another kind of shoot ‘em up weapons. It feels very much like a PC Engine exclusive, anime aesthetics, quirky gameplay and all.
      I got a handful of levels into it and enjoyed the game. It’s definitely not for everyone with these autoscroll platform jumps and chaotic power ups. But you seem to appreciate the eccentric games, so I think you might like it.

    Dead Moon isn't the best shooter but it has some cool graphics and music at least. For some reason it stuck out to me when I saw it in EGM as a kid, so it was one of the first HuCards I bought after moving to Japan in the 2000s. Bought a lot from Super Potato back then, their prices were probably a bit more competitive than they are now.

      @ScruffyLookinRGB  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats cool that you knew about the turbo grafix as a kid i just remember rumors about it and never actually saw one until i came to japan. I bet it was nice to be collecting back when it was cheaper.

      @@ScruffyLookinRGB Yeah, asked for a TG16 for Xmas in 1990. I remember Babbages gave out a TG16 promo bag for Halloween that year too. I thought games like Bonk looked cool, and I didn't want a Genesis because of their Nintendo-bashing. Didn't know any other kids who had a TG16 at school, though. Got a couple good games like Bonk, Splatterhouse, and Veigues (never see anyone talk about that last one). Eventually traded it in to get Street Fighter II on the SNES, which was a mistake money-wise but at the time I probably got more fun out of playing SFII with my friends.

    Sorry but the ghost sweeper mikami game is not a sidescroller on the engine. Its a digital Comic. Or is there another game on the engine?
