Break free from Moscovy and make it not exist. To easy? After beaking free until Moscovy not exists be alwas at war with someone, so war is a "PERM"-anent state. 😎
The Permian-Triassic extinction event, approximately 251.9 million years ago, saw the end of 57% of all biological families. It is also known as "The Great Dying", so as Perm fight a war with enough casualties that it breaks the end of war casualty count (via integer overflow).
so, you want him to constantly sit at war with 20 war exhaustion for decades to reach the 2 billion 147 million 483 thousand 648 kills that would be required for that to happen? honestly, i think that would be a terrible idea and make for a terrible video. Please don't pick this even if it gets the most upvotes Red Hawk. For your own sanity
@@tromedlovdrolmai You fail to see what consequences this would have for humanity. If this idea were to be realized, the video would singlehandedly be the pinnacle of PAIN, nay, the pinnacle of PERPETUAL AGONY. It would transcend the limits of mortal suffering and would bring the gods themselves to their knees, and they would beg greatly for salvation.
There is a really nice Russian book called "The Heart of Parma" (Сердце Пармы) about the guy who is Perm's heir at the start of the game trying to get independence from Muscovy. The book is good so I suggest you to take inspiration from it: get independence, but instead of killing Muscovy and forming Russia create an independent Permian state (it was this man's dream basically) and have it become a great power without moving west. Or instead just conquer Parma in Italy because funny
Perm has a really cool Bear on the Flag. There shall be no other bear in any other flag in the world. So, take Yaroslav and Novgorod for yourself. Then, become the ultimate bear... California!
Being a sailor in Pegu has to be one of the cushiest jobs in this campaign's timeline, as you're being hired by the government with your primary job being to just exist.
Perm doesn’t get Siberian frontiers. So as perm achieve the Russian ambition of reaching the pacific by 1600, either through conquest or colonization east.
Getting independence as Perm is notoriously difficult. It's going to be like Beloozero all over again. They do have an achievement Great Perm but it requires that you own a lot of provinces in North America and you don't like playing into the 1600s, so I think owning all of the Siberia region will be a good enough goal.
If you full annex Ava you get all their tributaries - and then when they are still your subjects they can't join a Coalition. You can just cancel the Tributary relationship and declare on each of them in turn.
The Perm state spoke Komi, a Uralic language related to Finnish, Estonian, Sami, Hungarian, and Karelian. As Perm, conquer all the places those languages are spoken.
I don't know if it was intentional but Hawk literally has built the modern day border of Myanmar and Thailand after the first war with Ayutthaya it's so satisfying to look at
The subjugation CB let's you subjugate them regardless of size, so long as you use that CB. So it would let you conquer Ayyuthaya in one war, albeit via vassalalization, rather than taking them out piecemeal.
Breaking free from muscovy as perm pretty easy thanks to you Red hawk! Taking your reference as beloozero to wait for poland to annex mazovia + wait till denmark eats novgorod to nullify cant reach to capital modifier and then declare independence. The only problem is that muscovy will annex perm early by 1450s after the war with novgorod finish. So good luck with that! I just finished my Great Perm achievement last week and was super fun My advice is to take aristo idea early combine with cossack estate (after taking steppe province from kazan) to fight the muscovy with cav
Having watched your old Pegu guide recently after wanting to play them (my run didnt go well) but I want to say youve come such a long way from then and I cant wait to see you continue to grow
@23:00 (ish) Subjugation CB means you can vassalise them as part of the peace deal for AT MOST 80% warscore. No matter the size of the nation. So, yes, there is a point in having a subjugation CB on Ayutthaya!
Just to let you know, but your recent videos inspired me to do something similar! I figured I could use some of the same techniques and sat down and had a go at an achievement I had failed at a few years back. So this time I managed to pull off "The First Toungoo Empire" in a single session of play! Thanks for the giving me some confidence.
Hey hawk, wtf were you calculating at 28:15??? because an additional 135% applied to 36k sailors would be 84k. My guess is that you only applied an additional 35% instead 135%.
15:43 You can change this building to increase or decrease your karma. I recommend to use it to increase karma as you lose a lot of karma for declaring wars.
I played Pegu once for the Achievements and I allied Bengal early. I took Arakan, Ava and Ava‘s tributaries on first and then pushed towards Indonesia for coastal provinces and therefore sailors. I think economic was my first idea group, back then also for development coast. Later I took maritime and conquered major parts of the Indian coast.
A basic explanation of the Emerald Buddha decision is that it exist to help you keep your karma balanced. If you take it, the "polarity" of the monthly karma buff flips from positive to negative. Since as Buddhist, you want to keep your karma close to 0 as possible for the best buffs, you can use it to compensate for declaring wars and such, which cost you karma.
As Sweden, you should unite Scandinavia, make Muscovy not exist, and take Constantinople, changing the name to Miklagård (the Viking name for Constantinople). Bonus points: Colonize North America and have Vinland own all of modern-day Canada. Bonus Bonus points: Become Norse (through the console unless you hate yourself)
I think the reason you had so much trouble in the Ayutthaya and Bengal wars even when outnumbering them is because recently the AI seems to have a huge problem focusing. They end up just running all over the place doing nothing while the enemy sieges them down. Look at where your allies armies were in the Bengal war just running towards Chagatai, my bet is when they reached it they started going back to Jaunpur to defend it and then back to Chagatai...
@@TheRedHawkYeah similar thing happened in my recent Florence game. Me + Austria + Spain + giga Burgundy with Normandy and all of the low countires+ PLC with Hungary PU couldnt take a France with only expansion in northern Italy. Whenever they reached somewhere they instanly left and the French kept picking them of one by one, except of the Austrians who had an 80k stack attritioning walking from Ferara to Lorraine and back. If i hadn't gotten some morale events and smashed the Frence myself we could have lost that easy war.....
I think you that should go for the Great Perm Achievement. I know it would be very difficult and take longer than usual, but at least in my mind it would make for a very interesting video!
I'd like to see the Permian-Triassic be referenced. Triassic is named after triad (or three specific layers that are associated with triassic), therefore the challenge will be to make the HRE not exist, make the mandate of heaven not exist and make the pope not exist because they went extinct. Alternatively if you don't have the Great Perm achievement yet, i'm also okay with seeing that one.
nah +10% provincial trade power is great, its literally basically 10% global trade power (minus a little) for most countries. unless you have an absolutely MASSIVE light ship trading fleet, 99% of your trade power is gonna be provincial, unless you went for trade ideas and you're not really taking control of many nodes then you'll have a little more merchant trade power so it'll be like 90%. overall a great modifier.
As Perm: 1) become a gateway nation in a snake around every great power that isn't you, as in their only border should be with you or the ocean. 2) Give Permission for anyone that asks for military access to have it; you must always grant it. 3) If you can offer anyone military access as checked via the diplomatic actions tab, you must do so. Beyond that, do it however you want.
As Perm: Conquer all Germanic provinces Conquer all Russian provinces Have your ruler become german Convert to paganism Conquer the levant Le funni tno refrence
No way these are the most annoying achievements - they have to be the ones where you're required to wait until a certain date ("embrace all institutions", "get to tech 32" etc).
100k sailors isnt that hard tbh. it may take some time, but as long as you have enough tier 3 coastal centers of trade, the goal isnt that hard. Press some ideas and you are done. I would worry about survival more about the sailors XD
What I did that really helped my upstart with Pegu was a Dec 11th No CB on Barus. It got the perfect distance to Pangarruyung which features a gold mine. Barus is Hindu and Panga Theravada which helps a lot with AE distribution. You can even go Aceh which got 2 interesting provinces, but they may ally annoying nations or even Mallaca by the time you're finished with Barus.
