Investing in well made garments does not mean you need a huge bank account. You can find them at good thrift or consignment shops and then have them tailored. You do not need to be 'rich' to look classy. Using these tips, and leaning more to a quiet refinement and less towards trends will not only save you money but you will feel and look like a million bucks. I'd love to see someone do video comparing the two different ways (limitless budget versus on a budget) and see if they could pick out which was which.

Do you know some people are so used to their own perfume that, as you say, they can't smell their own perfume anymore? They've become accustomed to it and wear too much. This can be a problem. There are some women at my workplace whose perfume I can smell from 15 feet away. I can smell their perfume when they've passed through a hall but are no longer in sight. So far, I haven't liked any of their perfume as they aren't fresh smelling. It smells stale to me, permanently entrenched in their clothing and sometimes mixed with a bad smell like cigarette smoke or body odor. It's better not to wear perfume, but of course who will stop them?

Love the French tip, pink & white.
Long standing favorite is Prince Matchibelli's "Cachet," in the "solid
pink," box. Then of course Crabtree & Evelyne's "Wisteria." I never met with a perfumist, but that would be neat!
    Monochrome accessorized, spot on!
My grandmother used to make cloths & she was really good at sewing! I definitely like tailored best!
Always hair & 💄 make-up right for you!!
As Joyce Meyer has mentioned, "never compare yourself to others....be the best you!"
    God bless ladies! 🎉

Good advice. I always wore Chanel No. 5, but I had to finally admit that it does not last on me. Fortunately,Arpège came back to the US, and that is what I now wear. Always buy quality garments. It is not worth spending money tailoring cheap items.

    • @AaaBbb-pg8lj
      @AaaBbb-pg8lj 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

The same thing happened to me after YEARS of wearing perfume without issues. I finally read this hint and it works.
Buy some scent-free moisturizer (or very lightly scented if you cannot find scent-free) and put it on your chest and abdomen. Allow it to absorb and dry and then spray your perfume on those 2 places. The moisturizers hold the scent in place for much longer than it lasts on bare skin.
Also, with Chanel, ALWAYS check the label on the bottom of the bottle and ONLY buy it if it says “Made in France.” The formulation made in this country is inferior, imo. It never lasts. If you have friends going on a cruise ask them to buy it for you on the ship. You’ll get the real deal. Good luck! 🍀

Try to wear similar styles and have your hair and makeup done simply and similarly year after year, that way you will always stay young when people see you years later, they'll say you've never aged. It's a trick i learned from watching elegant Hollywood stars.
I love paloma Picasso, its a beautiful, clean perfume, i uae the perfume winter tome and the lighter version at summer. When i have migraines, i don't use the perfume. I mix light essential oils with my lotions.
My best tip is, drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and moisturizing the skin. I have skin creams in every purse, in every bathroom, and in every room, as well as water bottles. Otherwise, i look simple and elegant by purchasing mostly from the thrift stores.

I'm a "Soft Summer", so dusty rose is one of my colours - for lipsticks, blush, nail polishes too. I love it, it is so romantic. The opposite colour on the colour wheel you may like to try is teal. Dark Teal is the colour of the veins on my wrist, so apparently is my "power colour" and yes I look amazing in it. Pastel versions of teal are beautiful too. You will likley notice when you go shopping for dusty rose, there is usually teal items next to it as they are a classic combination and go so well together.

I lived with rich people as a neighbor a big part of my life.
    Here are some facts.
Rich men are NOT married to beautiful women. They go for personality, charm and intellect because they are easy bored.
Rich people wear old T-shirts, drive their dads old pick up truck and don't associate with "trendy" or flashy people because they are annoying.
They don't buy new cars all the time and treat their household staff very well.
Their kids are NOT getting what they want all the time and learn early how to trade stocks or the importance of saving and investing.
Rich people don't shop all day long.
So with all of these facts this video is nonsense.

I don’t think this video intended to help someone married rich. At least for me it’s not enough 😊.

I love neon too. Never worn it personally, but definately in accessories in can look fab.
In clothing, white and neon in summer looks incredible. And with beige? Oooh theres an interesting possibility.................I'm not a fan of it with black for myself, on others it can look striking.
If you get the styles right, it can look very "designer", which will make some people think you look rich.
I would rather look stylish than rich. I can't afford rich clothes unless I shop 2nd hand, which I love doing as you always find something interesting.

If you have friends who may be cruising, ask them to buy the perfume for you in the ship’s store. You will get the best quality formulation.
ALWAYS check the label to identify the location of manufacture to see if it is where the company is located. Chanel, for example, is a French company but some of the Chanel 5 is made in Parsippany, NJ , and it is awful, but the Chanel sold on board is original, sophisticated and lovely. Good luck! 🍀

I have worn a fragrance by Ralph Lauren called Lauren Style for 20 years. They quit producing it more than 10 years ago. I am grateful for my boyfriend who found me a supply of it. It is rather scarce now. The sad part of the industry is that when the patent expires so does the value. I have found something similar Giorgio Armani My Way. Perhaps it is as close as I can get to Lauren Style. Does anyone else experience this problem of discontinuation of products?

I had initially planned to retire at 62, work part-time, and save money, but the impact of high prices on various goods and services has significantly disrupted my retirement plan. I'm worried about whether those who experienced the 2008 financial crisis had it easier than I currently am. The volatility of the stock market is a concern as my income has decreased, and I fear that I won't be able to contribute as much as before, potentially jeopardizing my retirement savings.

If you plan on building up a quality wardrobe slowly, over several years, you can afford a tailor.
You buy a great jacket one year, that needs the sleeves taken up. £10-20
A LBD the next year, that needs shortening. £10-20
If you buy these items 2nd hand, definately can afford it.

  • @LifeAccordingtoMaria
    @LifeAccordingtoMaria 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Another tip is not to wear obvious luxury logos on your person. Real rich people don't advertise another company's branding. You will rarely find someone with a huge LV, or GG on their bodies or even carrying those types of purses.
Also to be a dead giveaway is definitely a good haircut. Ever notice that if you get a nice cut and blowout and then go around town, people treat you differently? Beats a ponytail and baseball cap anyday.
