I prefer shorter, natural-looking nails to long, pointed ones. Thank you for highlighting taking care of your items, I always stuff shoes as well as bags, I store them in a clear bag or in their original boxes. I spray suede jackets, footwear, bags, etc. to protect it from stains and rain. I brush my clothes, de-pill knitwear, polish shoes and heels and also clean the inner sole, especially of sandals, that can get dirty. All these take time so it's important to allow yourself time to pay attention to detail, take care of your items and also practice getting dressed, matching pieces, combining silhouettes, colours and textures, until it becomes second nature.
Thrift if at all possible, you will find much better made outfits, and materials. Look, it takes time, but you will eventually have a good quality closet.
