Great list boss. I would add bead head hare's ear too. Walt's worms I tied up best I could with hotspot-kills it every time on rainbows, cutties and whitefish. Keep them coming.
Thanks man. I was going to but i do better with the Waltz’s Worms and they are so similar. At least that was my reasoning. I do like a Guides Choice Hares ear from time to time. Appreciate the comment
For subsurface, you really only need some mayfly nymphs (think hare's ear, p.t.), a prince, a free swimming caddis and an RS2, all in various colors. Streamers are a whole different matter, though. For that I like to keep it simple: Wooly Buggers and Muddlers. Trout are trout, they all eat the same stuff.
What a great selection of nymphs minus the egg, lol. A well presented dry fly/nymph/leech/streamer of virtually any type for salmonids should be banned. Warm water just the same. A few days ago, I was tooling around the community stockie pond chuck full of bait/gear/spin folks eager to catch a fish. Besides myself and another fly fisher, we were the only two that were consistently catching fish. Go figure!
Some of those I've tied & used and some of those I haven't. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on them.
Well thank you, appreciate you giving it a gander🙂
@@greenhornflyhorn You're welcome
Thanks! Great list fully endorsed down-under in NZ.
I’ve been vindicated!!😆 Thanks for the comment 🤘
NZ has about the same population as Sydney but depending on Muslim Births could be neck and neck to spread.
caught about 10 today with the prince double jigged great vid!!!

Good video…what size silver wire on the copper john? Brassie or Medium?
This is semperfly 0.2mm in silver. If you go smaller(like 16 and smaller) use 0.1mm
Definitely going to have to try out the rubber band maggot fly for super low and clear conditions!

All great flies, but I'd include the tj hooker. Although, its pretty similar to the pats rubberlegs.
Yeah, definitely like the hooker! Great fly and a great suggestion. Thanks 🙂
Never heard of the inch worm ?
Nice video
Its Hopper Dropper Time
Big floating cicada and a little nymph on the bottom
This season will be sweet with that setup 🤘
Which one should be banned? A Copper John in Silver must be a Silver John!

Did they ask what you were using?😆
@@greenhornflyhorn They didn't. Too much gear pride I guess, lol
Can we stop with the click-bait “THIS FLY SHOULD BE BANNED!” crap?
I will ask upper management. It might take awhile 😉
But it worked because you obviously clicked on the video 😂
Or the go to fly…
No. This click bait must continue. All flies should be banned, lol
I was hatin' on it and now I'm just goin' with it. 😅😅😅
