The shooting section at the end of a battle is an actual stage. Even the blaster is usable with mods. The rose isn't exactly a touch, it's just live gameplay.
Fact: when you become metal, you won't make any "noise". Which means no idle animation noise, no voicelines, etc.. Sounds of moves still work, I think. So you'll still hear fox's laser, but you won't hear "PK FIRE!".
Bayonetta's rose effect isn't tied to the spirit board. She always emits roses when being hit; it's just easy to miss in game because of how flashy everything she does is.
7:31 this crash has happened quite a lot for me, and it's not specific to just barret's outfit. you have to get lucky in overloading the game with all the costumes, and having unlocked/purchased as many as possible can really help. interesting note here, if you had deleted a mii fighter, then crashed the game, the deleted mii fighter would come back to the menu like nothing had happened. guess you can use this if you had deleted your mii fighter on accident, if you'll be able to consistently overload the data to make the game crash.

Witch blood can't exist in a free state, so it gets converted to different objects upon being exposed, notably roses. There's probably more to it but I haven't read Antonio's Notes in 4 years or so.
On Great Bay you can swim underneath the turtle's neck, jump out and immediately airdodge down to reset your drowning time, then you can stay underneath the turtle forever. This is especially potent with hazards off, where the turtle doesn't move. I was disappointed you can't save replays that use frame by frame advancement, I wanted to make TAS replays.
12:32 bayo isn’t the only character with special effects like this I believe, Samus and mega man have some spark effects similar to the effect for a phantom hit when they are attacked. Done know if they show up there though
i think the hat crash has to do with ones that have physics, i noticed that the times it crashed you were on hats that had physics on them, the Pirate hat's feather has physics, and the Inkling wig's ponytail/ear-things have physics
A few months ago I actually made a full jump spirit thing and used Kirby (including his hammer) and it worked, meaning that it was ADDED IN at some point
Are you sure you had it set properly? I used to use a jump setup on almost every character when I was playing world of light, and I do remember it being kinda funky. Even Ken and Ryu if you try to jump immediately after a cancelled focus attack had a similar reaction. I will say though that was agessss ago I was playing world of light
The Bayo roses were already in Smash 4 and in the presentation of her announcement way back. This is a reference to her original game. Sakurai also explained the other details like her butterfly wings for double jump, and her special shadow representing Madamma Butterfly (not sure if the Jeanne alt gets Madamma Styx though but her weaves are white)

Not really a useless fact, but I'm not sure how many people know about this. Mashing instant dash is faster at pushing characters than normally dashing. This is really only useful during a shield break, to push characters to the ledge. It has been at least slightly faster for each character I've tested. My mashing also isn't great either.
Fun fact: with ZSS, you can flipstool your teammates. It's kinda weird, since the properties of flipstooling your teammates is entirely different from flipstooling your opponents. When you flipstool your opponents, the flipstool has unique properties, but if you flipstool your teammate, it will act as if you footstooled them normally, which is kinda weird since you can't normally footstool your teammates. This allows you to troll your teammates by flipstooling them while they try to recover. Do note that flip kick has no special properties of the sort. It'll just act like any old attack when you use it on a teammate.
Regarding your infinite portal setup: Pyra has three flames that are released from the Aegis Sword while descending in Prominence Revolt. If Pyra descends for 20 seconds, the flames will become detached and disappear. This will even loop over and over again.
the spirits on the hammer moves happens the same on donkey kong cargo throw, i assume this is due to the fact you used to be able to cargo throw and just someone into space and kill them instantly, i wonder if cargo throw has a same kind of state as kirby hammer moves do

There’s something weird I found with Hocotate Bomb and Splattershot (inkling neutral b). Basically if you have a Hocotate Bomb placed and shoot it, the windbox will push it (and yes this applies to all the other windboxes). When the rocket comes down, it’ll come back down from wherever it went off the top of the screen, and it can still be pushed. The reason I specify the Splattershot is that if you keep shooting the rocket by aiming up (or just push it more on the way down), the ship will be sent so far that it’ll go through anything solid on its way back down, but retain its spike hitbox.
I've got a cool fact, although I don't actually know if you've already found this or not, but I just stumbled upon this myself when I was playing against a CPU. You know how when FS Meter is turned on, if you lose a stock when it's full the FS Meter will deplete so you no longer have a Final Smash, well I found out that Hero can somewhat avoid this, if he completes his FS Meter with Kamikaze, he'll literally spawn with a Final Smash, it doesn't go away even though he technically did lose a stock, I think he's the only character in the game who can deliberately spawn with a Final Smash.
This actually gets me thinking, what if a lingering hitbox damages the opponent in between dying and respawning, like plant's poison cloud or snake grenade? That might work too

im assuming the main reason as to why bayo has roses when being hit is because the place where the spirit shooting thing is, can be played on as an actual stage (with the help of modding) and the game just automates some of the movements
Ok so i know this is weird, but hopefully, PK will see this and find it interesting. This is the story of a glitch in SSBU i had a dream about. a glitch that does not actually exist. Here is is It was a team battle. It was a dark samus and a regular samus versus a mega man. The mega man had just jumped offstage to avoid a projectile. Both samuses jumped up on the same frame ( they were very close to each other) and the one in front (regular samus) released a fully charged charge shot. The one in the back (dark samus) did an aerial tether grab. The charge shot dissapated into the tether grab and turned into little balls all along the length of it. These balls quickly grew to be the size of a not at all charged shot and stuff to the 2 samusus, who started to have extremely low gravity. The megaman jumped up to dark samus and some of the balls on her stuck to the megaman instead, like burrs. Now all 3 had like 1/20 gravity. Then I woke up.

Ever since I spent hours looking for the _singular spirit_ I had yet to defeat to complete the achievement of clearing all battles, did a new game+ on that world to complete another achievement to get one of those achievement hammers and insta-clear it, and found out that it didn't work, I've never seen World of Light in the same way
Ok I don’t really know where else to comment this, but the “Zelda (Breath of the Wild)” spirit looks like it has holes in it. You can actually see the sparkling misty effect that is supposed to be behind the spirit. It’s most noticeable around her legs.
Little bit of a weird one but When ken uses his close range final smash in strong enough downwards wind (around 50 and i would do it against puff because thats how I did it) ken CAN hit the first part but when the spin kickes before the final hit can miss I don't know if it will work for you but i have done it
On the topic of incorrect jumping with spirits: this happens when a move affects your movement, like the two you used, and donkey Kong's cargo throw. for some reason the moves movent change overrides the spirits movement change after a small window.
i have a dk spirit team that uses 4 lightweight spirits, and you jump int the blast zone. however, when you grab and carry your opponent, you jump a normal height. this can be surpassed by buffering a jump during the grab animation.
9:37 if you ever play mortal kombat 11 on switch you'd know that scrolling through gear overloads the models count of the switch and crashes i know its different games but still.

This has been a technique in the competitive scene before Ultimate came out. Wavedashing outclassed it but it still existed and was used

I got the same Mii gunner glitch when I was remaking a Mii gunner. I was using the special forces outfit I believe

On Flat Zone X, if you rotate (with the right joystick) the camera down, the characters aren't actually on the platform, rather in front of it.

Not sure what you have against World of Light. I, personally, find it very enjoyable, and I don’t play competitively in anyway.

Ever since I spent hours looking for the _singular spirit_ I had yet to defeat to complete the achievement of clearing all battles, did a new game+ on that world to complete another achievement to get one of those achievement hammers and insta-clear it, and found out that it didn't work, I've never seen World of Light in the same way

Ok I don’t really know where else to comment this, but the “Zelda (Breath of the Wild)” spirit looks like it has holes in it. You can actually see the sparkling misty effect that is supposed to be behind the spirit. It’s most noticeable around her legs.

When ken uses his close range final smash in strong enough downwards wind (around 50 and i would do it against puff because thats how I did it) ken CAN hit the first part but when the spin kickes before the final hit can miss

On the topic of incorrect jumping with spirits: this happens when a move affects your movement, like the two you used, and donkey Kong's cargo throw. for some reason the moves movent change overrides the spirits movement change after a small window.
i have a dk spirit team that uses 4 lightweight spirits, and you jump int the blast zone. however, when you grab and carry your opponent, you jump a normal height. this can be surpassed by buffering a jump during the grab animation.
