vehicle loading operations to support Swift Response 24

In a collaborative effort, the 62d Airlift Wing partnered with the U.S. Army’s 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery Regiment, 75th Field Artillery Brigade, to load multiple High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (Humvees) and High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) into a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, May 3, 2024. This joint effort is in support of Exercise Swift Response 24, which is a U.S. Army Europe & Africa led exercise focused on Allied airborne forces’ ability to respond to crises quickly and effectively as an interoperable, multi-national team. The airborne operations and training with Allies and partners showcase the 62d AW’s ability to execute today’s global airlift mission across the globe
