- Commanders visit deployed troops to check on their morale and welfare, and promote ideas and changes within the force. Air Force Sergeant George Maddon takes us to a visit with the new USAFE Commander to understand the promotions that were on his mind.
Know what got me? A freaking 4 Star on the phone to the TSgt's wife ffs, then promotes him, punch's his arm pretty hard, hand shake and a salute to boot. Full respect there. Congrats TSgt. That Gen is a man you could follow and respect. Both those guys are awesome.

It’s great to witness our young troops being rewarded for doing excellent work! The ground safety NCO’s have to maintain so many programs to keep a unit effective and safe whether is in a peacetime or war fighting situation. Requires a lot of hard work and due diligence. Bravo Zulu!

When 4 stars show up, it isn't a social call, more often than not :) Bet the SSGT was GLAD it wasn't some OTHER reason he saw him there :)
I was really nervous when I was there,staff Sargeant was very knowledgeable and smart but temperamental.I would love to go again.But with a much higher grade of clearance and handle more science and tech military programs that I was into after this,my clearance was much higher.I had problems with them putting antipsychotics in me and began to have problems with people.But I gave my commanding officer my word Wich ment more to me.Thank you for the. Experience,God bless be safe.... because it's not anywhere,safety is an allusion and many people are damaged goods....

Mark Welsh is about a fine a leader as our Air Force has ever had.
Why?
It is great when excellent performance is appreciated the right way. Some BS leaders just give you a stipid letter of appreciation, which means really NOTHING, and should be deleted from awards. Step Promotion is very rare and it should become more frequent among enlisted. As an officer I beleive we need to give more to our troops.
I’m was an Army guy I got mine after my letter of appreciation I got my surprise promotion. No one hit us in the arm. We would get 2 extra days off separate from Saturday and Sunday.

my daughter Kim Goehl received this step promotion to tech sergeant when she worked for OSI in Air Force.
She has since retired

Anyone who speaks in the name of others, and deceiving other people for so many interests, I would say that before then I will be punished by God's not nice to fool people in the name of someone else, if a person and courageous, faithful, sincere, honest, then he should talk to his name that the parents have put them ...!
