I’d say this is a really good update! But, as someone else said in the comments, it would be better if there was a native mocopi app on pc so users don’t need to use their phones to capture motion.
@@DominikLOL i'm not talking about the slimevr software, its the sony software they promised to release a pc version instead of using a android or iphone, yes the slimevr software is better
@@BaZhAnG couldn't you use bluestacks as a way to have it open without needing a phone? Since bluestacks is pretty much an app that pretty much is like a phone but on your pc
Could be the WiFi Router blocking it At my First Home it works fine but at my second it doesn’t I looked allot into it and it is the WiFi I can’t specify how to fix it tho
so I connected everything properly but it will not show the vr controllers only the headset is there something im doing wrong because I didnt see it on your screen when you hit send either. The tutorial just states makes sure everything is connected in the next slide but how did you get the joysticks to show up? when I hit track only the mocopi trackers and headset shows up not the controllers.
I tried countless things to connect the headset to slimevr to be able to settup automatic body proportions but it just keeps saying that my headset isnt connected
Currently 4 hours into setup for this. About to pull my hair out. 30 minutes after unboxing them I realized they DO NOT work with a Pixel 6. I had to get my old LG G8 to work with the app. After that debacle, it took another almost two hours to get them to show up in SlimeVR. After trying to calibration dance 10 times they almost want to work and line up with a VRC model. Going to give it another try soon but right now I'm exhausted. Seems the mocopi is great on its own but the VRC integration uhhhhh has been a huge pain. I'm computer and troubleshooting savvy but I do not have much experience with full body tracking. I manage to get the 360 kinect work pretty good but it wasn't fast enough to dance, and this has been my next big step.
the lack of foot locking and 1 sec latency is a bigger problem than the drift. In fact, your biggest problem and annoyance is one of the sensors just disconnecting randomly. But regardless, I think it's a good product if you can deal with its drawbacks. It's durable, waterproof, has the best battery life of any IMU, portable, and very easy to setup. The SDK for game engines is also extremely easy to use. I think it's worthwhile if you are a quest user or want something to use on the go.

Do you guys plan on releasing more details on the additional extension straps for the trackers for us to be able to put these on our chest and thighs?
The booklet says the extensions are your responsibility.
Cheap on Amazon
damn
Velcro, just order thinner strips for like $5
Sony sent the extension straps for the tracker for free :)
I ordered mine a few days ago and they just came with extra straps included
Wouldn't it be easier for the mocopi to be connected to the computer without the phone and release a software for pc ?
No because slimevr can utilize them better with even better tracking than sony app can

Plus theres connection issues with Slime VR
But, there's technical issues on PC tho.
It is now. However you gotta pay for it.
i don't have the" fbt calibration" option why's that ?
Need help im trying to set my tracker up but it won't let me send data to silmevr what should I do
have you found any luck on this?

Excellent.

Update: I've given up. Returning to Sony.
Hey! It would be a wonder for yall to have the app on pc somehow, i dont wanna have to worry about my phone being charged or not
Followed instructions, SlimeVR can't find the trackers... :(
can you do this with virtual desktop?
does it work with virtual desktop
Please create a pc app, it would simply make the product a great success. Less latency, better tracking. More customers. More sales.
Is it only for 3 quest
It should be for any headset
But it not working
This update is available on iOS? i can't find the SlimeVR (UDP) option...
I found it... I forgot to enable the advanced functions at the start 😅
Hey , Im from Belgium. Is there any way to get the 2.0 update SDK file or something for mocopi?
Why does it matter where you from? xD
Because the app is not available globally on app store
how bad is drift, that imu's does this use anyone know?
