how does the a g f thing work??? i went into edit mode but i just end up grabbing and moving

Are you referring to creating a face and grabbing it? If so, you have to grab all the lines or points then hit F.

Basic Blender. I have mine set up to where the spacebar is my menu. You can go into your settings and change yours to a menu as well. If not, F3 is default menu pop up.

Spacebar dont work for me in the version i have. What do i do instead?

You have to go into your settings in order to make your spacebar act like mine. I believe the normal search is F3
