Here is a version of the fountain from my previous video that the meshes themselves glow. In the previous video, I used a spot light to create a lit effect. With this version, I turned the meshes into a glow/light.

this tutorial is ok but how do i close the ends? and i used this to make a straight rope off that circular rope to make it look like it has a knot in it but it wont let me close the ends, even trying to add faces doesnt work
Did you apply the modifiers? Blender is picky about what can and can't be done unless the modifiers have been applied.
@PhoenixStrykers i tried to add a face to the ends, but it gives weird results, i used the solidify Modifier it kinda works, i even tried to make the rope out of 3 cylinders instead of circles and that didnt do much different
@PhoenixStrykers im very new, when i add the modifier i can see the changes it makes, are you saying i have to click the apply thing too? that makes the modifier disappear for me in the right panel
@@smcfadden1992 You need to apply the modifier. The ends will be able to close if you apply the modifier. Hit "apply all"
@@smcfadden1992 That is exactly what I mean. You want it to disappear from the right side. If you Don't hit "apply" the mesh won't obey.

There were a lot of uniquecplanes there. Wouldve been nicer to not repeat the same picture several times and less pictures of the river and fuel stains.
I am not sure what picture I repeated, but as for the river, it is a part of Triple Tree as much as the 'craft are. It is what makes Triple Tree beautiful.
How did you merge the two ends of the rope within the circle? Everything turned out right until the last step. Theres either a gap between the two ends once the circle goes all the way or they intersect and go right through each other
You may have to readjust how many counts you have to your array, or adjust the size of the circle, you could even scale the size of the mesh.

Will this work for making wire rope? - The kind of rope used for rigging and lifting in construction?
I don't see why it wouldn't. Give it a try and let everyone know how it turns out.
To use ctrl+B and alt+S, one must drag the mouse in a direction. Hope this helps!
For those who are new to Blender, I changed my spacebar in order to let me use the menu. The original button to use for said menu is F3. You can go into your settings and set your spacebar to become your menu
i got extremely lost at 1:10. i press spacebar, and the animation window plays. it does not let me type "origin"
nvm just did a google search and found the F3 button. leaving my comment here so newbies like me can get around the issue. helpful tutorial btw, thanks

Basic Blender. I have mine set up to where the spacebar is my menu. You can go into your settings and change yours to a menu as well. If not, F3 is default menu pop up.

If you mean at the beginning with the circles, right click, then click "merge vertices" Click "at center"

Are you referring to creating a face and grabbing it? If so, you have to grab all the lines or points then hit F.

Thank you all so much for watching! I know some are upset about my MLP cursor and F-14 Tomcat being rather sizeable, it was an accident. Princess Luna has been my favorite MLP since I was a little girl. The Tomcat was a gift from a friend. I enlarged the two so she could play with them when she would call me on Discord. That aside, I am so grateful for the support I have received from those who watch not only this, but the other videos on my channel.

Nice tutorial, but if you want to make it look more professional, you need a basic cursor to and not a pony, and the 3D f jet icon needs to be out of the way, as it is distracting, and has no meaning to the interface.

@@ManoloTEDDYY Thank you for understanding. The cursor and vroid over-sizing was a simple mistake. I am glad you saw the video for what it was, and not just the character I watched as a little girl, and the F-14 my friend made me. We need more people like you who can overlook the mistakes and focus on the task at hand.
While you are not wrong, I already do not speak in my videos. The Princess Luna cursor and the F-14 Tomcat help bring a little life to my videos. I do admit they are rather large, and have been resized since.

You have to go into your settings in order to make your spacebar act like mine. I believe the normal search is F3

One thing I should point out is, you want to have as little triangle as possible. Triangles do not sculpt that well.

Great work😀. idk if you do fan requests about the popular zombie game TWD. The walking dead telltale series. but, I have a cool idea that is optional. I'm wondering if you'd be willing to make an apocalypse survival story animation about the male and female charactors from telltales TWD where they survive but are slowly killed one by one until Kenny is the only one left alive to fight at the end. Using the group led by Kenny season 2 model from steam workshop. And add in any other existing charactor models you find from telltales twd and have them taken out at random one by one until Kenny is the final survivor. Like an survival horror type animation . Using the telltale TWD charactors. Search up steam workshop:: the walking dead collection to find all the charactor models. Also if Kenny doesn't show up just search up Kenny player model.
I am afraid I am unable to do that. That breaks the DCMA guidelines, by asking me to recreate the game.
