      When you model in Blender the 'Highlighted Points' in the X-Y-Z axis is your front side, the "Outlined Points" are the opposite, meaning your back side. In your course I wasn't sure if you knew that as you work on the "Minus" Axis for most the course (or at least the earlier chapters). Otherwise, the course is FANTASTIC! Thank you for making an affordable and effective learning journey!

      @@CyborKat Hi, thanks for your interest in my course 😁 The direction of the view labels when using the views shortcut key is indicative of which side of the object you are looking at, not the world orientation. Front, back, side etc. As noted in the course I use the view shortcuts primarily for orientation.

    Tried to study this video as much as possible for my detailed character and it was very helpful but didn't stop me from making mistakes in the workflow. Now I'm being very warry of the performance issue that might come with super detailed models. Quad remesher is great but don't work on details before using it or you will have some regrets 😂
    I'm really cautious about thinking everything in advance now... Still figuring out the best workflow. And I'm just starting to wonder about rigging. Hope I didn't make mistakes in the process that would make it difficult to handle for my computer 💀

      I will warn you that blender is mainly keyboard shortcuts in terms of how to do things, and most videos won't remember to explain the shortcuts, which is why most people recommend you start with doughnut videos. I also recommend if you're interested in more stylized work , there's a great series on the Arcane Netflix series that teaches some unique ways to get any type of art you're looking for tbh.

      @MomoBambi 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    • @augustkat9875
      @augustkat9875 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @MomoBambi sorry my first comment apparently didn't fully send so here's for getting started and I'll send some links in the next message
      You can find the round cube in edit preferences on the top of the screen next to file then you go to add ons and When you're in the object mode, view port when you first open the program. You can start by pressing delete on your keyboard to get rid of objects, then press shift a on your keyboard to add objects under mesh. From there most people use round cubes but honestly it doesnt matter that much but I will say if you use round cube when you first spawn it in before clicking anything at the bottom of the view port it says "add round cube" most people open that and change the radius to "1". You can also scale with "s" grab an object with "g" and rotate with "r" you can also do it on a specific axis by pressing it then pressing "x", "y", or "z".

    • @augustkat9875
      @augustkat9875 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @MomoBambi I will say that I think once you understand the basics, this video will be more helpful. I will also note that shortcuts are only useful to know once you understand what you plan on making due to just how many shortcuts there are.

      @MomoBambi 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@augustkat9875 thank you so so much for it, i really appreciate it! I will try all of this and will try to see the short cuts.
