I purchased an Electro 35 Pro in Japan in 1966. Loved it. It was the first camera that could take long exposures at night on film with correct exposure. We were shooting the lights of Hong Kong harbor from the flight deck of the USS Oriskany. It was taking color slide pictures with about 20 second exposures!

Before you buy a light, try using a reflector. You don't have to worry about light temperature, you don't have to adjust it's output if a cloud darkens your "main light", no cables and it's way cheaper. Basically any white-ish surface will work. Styro, cardboard ... anything. And if your window has direct, hard sunlight coming in, diffuse it. White bed sheets are great for that.

    Questions:
1- Can we adapt our ordinary cameras to function as webcams?
2- Can we have a comparison of the most popular external webcams for call quality and audio? Maybe stress test audio in a bathroom/confined space with lots of hard surfaces.
3- How did Jordan trick you into doing a video focused video?

    7. Review of commercial music library for incorporation in the background of the video clip
    8. Review of commercial video library for incorporation in the video clip

Here’s a tip if you’re using an ipad for zoom etc. Because the iPad’s camera is side mounted, when you do your zoom calls in landscape mode, it will look like your looking off to the right the entire vid. The trick is to simply turn your ipad sideways, aka portrait mode, and no more side eye:)

I use the BOYA BY-M1 lav mic, works fine with both cell phones, cameras and laptop, but you need to remember to turn it off (with cameras) or it kills the battery. Wish I had a rechargeable. Also, I sit facing the window and use the drapes to adjust the light level, gives me something to look at if the meeting is boring. The hardest part is keeping the cats off the keyboard.

Very nice video Chris! Yes, another idea is behind the scene video and gear that you used, like wireless lavs models ex..How you approach a project, scripting, planning ex. And one of my most wanted, that nobody makes: THE LED VIDEO LIGHT THAT YOU won't REGRET AFTER 1 YEAR. This is a super idea because we all love cheap lights, but after one year we spend again on crap China lights. Well, they are all made there, even the high end, but maybe there are mid-range price lights that can compete with high-end brands. This will be a good video. If you ask me what I looking for in led light, well: portable but definitely not small 1x1 or 2x1, option for battery, honeycomb grid, bi-color or rgbw. and finally reliable and at fair price. Does this exist? Regards from Bulgaria!
