Excellent video. My tip - every time you fix whatever caused the code, run the diagnostics to clear it. For hoe it worked for me , read below. Machine was throwing F-21 code. I've already the drain trap (it was FULL of stuff) and my washer started working again....for one wash. Then it threw F-21 again! Checked the trap (empty) motor (propeller spinning), but i would not work and door was locked with wet, dirty laundry inside.... So I've unplugged it again, plugged back in and went through the sequence in this video (4 second press, 4 second wait etc) and code F-21 showed. Pressed the button to start diagnostics....and after 6 minutes machine turned off.... I was able to open the door! Since it seemed to clear the code, I've run it again and it's working!
Thank you! This is a wonderful straight forward and simple instruction video. You speak clearly, you're to the point and your video is in focus. Perfect! Now...let's hope my F28 & F21 errors don't come back!
Okay well I did that procedure probably about 10 times and the f24 error still appeared. And then another time it ran through f01. I do know that it worked just fine until the homeowner moved the wash machine before he went out of town to Colorado. So I came back from California and the whole carpet under the washing machine is soaking wet and I can't seem to get rid of an unwanted houseguest who took advantage to the tune of four grand in one week's time. So now I can't even shampoo the carpet because she's been sleeping for two days straight.
Help, please! My machine still showing the code F28 after I run the diagnostic from the video. Except my machine makes a short buzzing alarm at it’s door lock.
I get an H-20 code through the HEAVY DUTY mode but not through the REGULAR MODE. I wonder why not if it's a lack of water flow through the inlet. Maybe HEAVY requires more water flow. Anyway, I did the code test even though my washer is the HE 2Plus model and it worked! After the diagnosis and the 4 clicks, it went into 'CLEAN WASHER' mode. I guess if there's any issues in the end, it will tell me. I just won't wash in HEAVY mode.
I run the diagnostic for an F 26 error. It goes through the diagnostic and then nothing comes up. Go to run a load...error comes back. Now what do I do?
Just wondering if you might be able to shed some light on a problem I am having. I have the Kenmore HE2Plus washer/dryer machines and need to replace the control board on the washing machine. My problem is .. .. .. how do I remove the outside metal panel to get to the board? Would I need to take the dryer off the washing machine first (they are currently stacked)? There are no visible screws to release the panel and the manual does not address this issue. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
I think some people here are missing the point of the video. This is only to diagnose the problem to figure what is wrong based on what error code it gives you. You have to figure out what the error code means from the manual and then fix that issue...
@@levialfaro1845 F-20 is a flow issue. It only affects me in HEAVY mode. Check your strainer where the hose attaches to the rear of the washer. If not there, you need to remove the top after removing three screws on the back and replace the water flow meter just under the top. Many videos on this and maybe a $50 part to replace yourself. Easy Peasy..

Thank you. I don't have to read all manuals and go through so many things. Simple and straight instruction is what we need.

I am not a repair person but if does not have screws then I think there are clips there that you will have to pop open
I do not have the dryer anymore.
@@rhainer54 You are correct.... I made the repair (switched out the entire panel) in less than 30 minutes and the washer is working like new again!
@@cattail3what was your error code? I get f01. I've tried a few drain pumps. What part did u replace?
