Thank you Ben. My washer was locked with a load inside. I followed your test instructions, it unlocked the door, I confirmed the drum still had water. I put it in spin test. It drained and spinned. Pushed the start button at the end of the test and door unlocked. I guess I don't have to wheel this Samsung to the curb tonight.
If you’re having an issue with the 4E code, take the hoses off of the back of the washer and get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull that little filter out of the threaded plastic piece and clean that really well. I was having that issue and this seems to have solved it. The screen on the filter is really fine so it don’t take much to slow the water flow down and throw the code.
I don’t have any of the codes he mentioned on the washer except the d. I have d, - -, dE1,dE,3E2. This youtube video is almost a joke because he doesn’t actually have a broken/overused washer. His washer isn’t even hooked up in the video. I don’t understand how this guy thought he could make an informative youtube video. Not hating just speculating.

My washer just beep when I push the main button, but it doesn’t start. If I keep trying it eventually starts, but can take as long as 30 tries. What do you think I should do to fix that?

Looks related to drain pump. There are a few things with that: 1) The pump isn't pumping the water at all (bad pump) 2) The pump is not draining the water efficiently for #1, you'd replace pump if it had junk in it. Many times, just clearing the filter isn't enough - the pump itself has been destroyed due to the derbis. For #2, check the drain hose and make sure its not TOTALLY JAMMED in the standpipe where the water drains to.

Greetings Ben & Everyone. I have the same washer and dryer. Zero problems. Except I accidentally leaned on the control panel and pressed some funky combination of buttons and now when I select anything other than the shortest cycle it stops prematurely. For instance, if I select the 40 min cycle, it'll dry for about 10 mins then stop. My question is, if I unplug the dryer cord 🔌 & wait for 1-5 mins then plug back in, will it reset my dryer to factory settings? *Believe it or not* I've had this set for almost 10 years. I love it so much! Not a single service call. Gratitude for your time.🙂
Hi ive been trying to fix a samsung front loader washer WF1104XBC It has a door lock error Problem have replaced control board and the door lock after around 30 mins of washing it throws up a DE error and stops 2nd set and seems to stuff the lock and the control board shows DE error in any other machine it go's into would be awesome to have any ideas how to solve this
Its definitely a door lock/pcb error. HOWEVER sometimes it'll throw that signal if the drain pump connection/drain pump is bad. I'd check and verify its connections are good and everythings' operating well with it.
WF45M5500AP/A5 washer here. I seem to have some power issue and would like to know if the CN5 connection has always 120VAC on it or not. Also missing the 5VDC on the CNS801 pin # 4. BTW SAMSUNGs customer service is worse than that trying to talk to a 4 year old. Very aggravating conversation.
I'd have to look @ a schematic sheet. I *think* the CN5 is supposed to have 120vac nominally on that model, but I'd have to have the tech sheet to know for sure.
I have a 2021 Samsung front end washing mashing and it has been beeping and giving me the SC code. I would clean the little filter in the bottom left and make sure the basin rubber thing was free of debree/baby socks too. It would go away and come back later with beeps and SC code flashing. So I took the filter out of the bottom left and shined a light in to see where the water drains into the pump… and bam…there was the problem…a piece of my wife’s bra was in side by the pump. I used some long skinny needle nose pliers and yank it out…the flood gates had opened and water began pouring out. I screwed the filter back on as fast as possible and washing machine was fixed. Timer started actually counting down, I could hear water pumping out into the drain, and the machine finally went into spin cycle, problem solved. I hope this helps someone, good luck.
Me! Thanks bud! I will clean the cylinder plastic filter thing and also the hose, we still got the damn code SE. I’m gonna go in there with a flashlight and completely check everything out, thanks again brother.
Our Samsung washing machine model# WF45K6200AZ/A2 takes longer to wash. When I look at the timer, say 7 minutes, after a while it goes back to 16 minutes. What seems to be the problem?
@@kevindaniels4302 nothing yet and still an ongoing issue. More time washing, more electricity consumption. 👎I asked Samsung before, they don't know either. They want me contact nearby repairman which I don't like to do. Samsung must figure out this problem and ways to fix it.
Unit is going out of balance, it is weigh sensing the load and adding more time. If you are not overloading or under loading with clothes, either you have an out of round inner tub/drum or a bad main board
If you open up the back panel there is a plastic wire holder that snapped off. All you have to do is drill holes into the metal back plate and put zip ties to hold it down. Be careful not to drill into the drum. Only the metal
No. Samsungs are generally garbage. The rear bearings may, on average, last 7 years. My reccomendation for a front loader would be a similarly-priced LG. We get WAY less of them than Samsung's garbage.
@@bensappliancesandjunk Wish I knew this before purchasing from my current landlord. He only purchased it two years ago. I had a Kenmore set for over 15 years that I gifted to my parents before moving to this house and I never had one single issue with them. This Samsung set is garbage. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it now
Make sure the drain hose isn't buried too far into the standpipe that'd cause back flow. Make sure the drain hose isn't linked/pinched anywhere. Make sure there isn't anything stucked in the pump or hose. If none of those things work, the drain pump may be bad. If its super noisy, or you find that its not really draining much at all despite no obstructions.
I had this problem yesterday. In addition to getting the 5E code, I got a SUDS sensor error saying my washer was foamed up (it was not). Mine has an access panel on the front bottom left for a filter that was jammed FULL of dog hair - clearing that and then leaving the washer unplugged for half an hour cleared it and resolved the problems.

Any luck with yours? Mine is throwing AE6, 3E2, and dE in diagnostic mode.
which control board should I replace if my error code reads "AE6" & "dE"?
Can you do a video for the dryer? Is it able to be troubleshot
I have this same washer. The washer itself does Not Fill with enough water to saturate/wash the clothing properly. We find ourselves doing small/tiny loads of laundry or washing a load multiple times just to get things clean. Any advice in what could be going on? Is there an eco mode setting that could have been turned in when it was installed? Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated! 4 kids and a farm with this washer is not going well...
Are you on well water or city water? If well water, the water valve filters at the back of the unit may have sediment buildup not allowing for enough water to go into the unit.
@@romarioflores863 we are on well water. I will check that this weekend. Thank you for replying!

Hello Ben love the video it has been very helpful when I can get it to stay on long enough to get through it. The problem I am having is that it will turn off and back on several times throughout the cycle. Now I can hardly get it to stay on long enough for me to get to test mode. Any suggestions?
Hello Ben
My samsung washer wf45m5100aw when spine keeps adding more time. How can I fix it please help me out. Thx
What does 4E mean? Washer beeps and have to start over several times.
I can’t get it to go into code mode when pressing delay end and soil level. Any tips on how to get it there if it’s not working ??
He says “soil level” to go into diagnostic mode, but he hits the “spin” button and later says “hit the spin button again to get out of it”
My washer just beep when I push the main button, but it doesn’t start. If I keep trying it eventually starts, but can take as long as 30 tries. What do you think I should do to fix that?
I have a Samsung front load washer and it won’t let water into washer when on a normal wash it on a quick wash it works????
Just so you know you say press the "soil" button to enter the diagnostic mode when you meant "spin" button. Ate up some of my time wondering why i wasnt getting any codes
I can’t get the steam button to light up . Any idea of what could be going on ?
Hello. I have this exact washer and when I turn it on all of the lights start flashing and I can’t press any buttons. I’ve tried to hold the soil level and delay end buttons but it didn’t work. I’ve tried to keep it unplugged for an hour, I tried to hold spin and soil level. Nothing is working. Please help
I literally have the same issue. I can not enter diagnostic mode no matter what I do. I wish he or someone from this channel would my help Brice and I with this issue.
@@debraeriksen7188 If none of the buttons respond, even with the machine just being turned on. You could have stuck buttons or a damaged user interface.

Great info, thank you. I'm want to find out what the ICON of the T-shirt mean? It comes up on the monitor now and then. THANKS
Thanks for a great video. I am getting 66.66 error in this machine. Can you suggest how to fix it?
Ben would you please help me to my Samsung washer front load 6000AW no hot water coming in to the washer. just cold water. thanks in advance
Check for voltage going to valves. if you get 120VAC to solenoids, the valve is bad. If you don't get 120VAC, the board is bad
@@bensappliancesandjunk Hi Ben thank you so much to replying. Yes my husband checked the voltage is 110. we replaced the valve for the hot. but still the same. for some reason in the beginning of washing cycle they supply hot water. afterwards it just cold water the rest cycle
@@celiadonovan1964 usually thats due to a cold rinse setting. Is check all of the settings. Usually a warm rinse only uses 2-4gal on most washers anymore
@@bensappliancesandjunk Hi Ben once again thank you for your kindness and help. as you mentioned normally is 2galoon hot water when it comes to rinse cycle. which is not happening to my washing cycle. it just in the beginning of cycle they start to fill hot water with cold water. afterwards no hot water came out even though when they start rinse cycle till end of cycle. but the weird thing doesn’t give me any error code.
I have a front loader Samsung and it stopped on spin cycle. It still makes a chime noice but won’t power up. Can’t get the door open or get it to turn on. Any ideas?
I got a 3E2 code . Any ideas how to fix it ?
Hey Ben... I have the exact same model and it’s running into a 5C or SC error code.. didn’t see this error code in your video..saw a couple other videos on this error and I tried to drain the water from the bottom and cleared the filter however it still shows the error code when the washer reaches the Rinse+Spin mode.. any thoughts? Thanks
Looks related to drain pump. There are a few things with that:
1) The pump isn't pumping the water at all (bad pump)
2) The pump is not draining the water efficiently
for #1, you'd replace pump if it had junk in it. Many times, just clearing the filter isn't enough - the pump itself has been destroyed due to the derbis.
For #2, check the drain hose and make sure its not TOTALLY JAMMED in the standpipe where the water drains to.
@@bensappliancesandjunk Sounds good... I’ll give that a try.. thanks for the quick response 👍

Hey Ben just wondering have you ever seen a Samsung eco bubble front loader washing machine have a chunk of the door seal missing before
Which part? Very bottom of the gasket on the front where it'd kind of seal with the door glass?

We have a Samsung steam VRT plus it is stuck on spin only and we can't do anything with it it doesn't open and it doesn't start any idea as of what it could be?????
Gratitude for your time.🙂
It should help solve that yes. Likely, you've set some sort of forced auto-dry thats timing out too quickly
Hello sir i am getting 3E1 error code and i just replaced thermistor sensor and invertor control board problem still same :(
Hi ive been trying to fix a samsung front loader washer WF1104XBC It has a door lock error Problem have replaced control board and the door lock after around 30 mins of washing it throws up a DE error and stops 2nd set and seems to stuff the lock and the control board shows DE error in any other machine it go's into would be awesome to have any ideas how to solve this
Its definitely a door lock/pcb error.
@@bensappliancesandjunk Thank you Ben. I could email the service manual to you for a review if you could entertain a few min and help me.

How do i get into quick test mode on a samsung WF45M5500 washer?

Hi , can you help me with Code (J0 12) ?
Not an error code, it’s unit’s version
How to enter the diagnostic mode on model wf220anw/xac?
What does s u d code mean
Me! Thanks bud! I will clean the cylinder plastic filter thing and also the hose, we still got the damn code SE. I’m gonna go in there with a flashlight and completely check everything out, thanks again brother.

Valves could be bad on washer - sticking open. I'd check the valves w/ a multimeter and see what you get.
My code is saying SE. What is that. The wash cycle stop with se code and didn't start the next cycle for rinse
Did not see my code in the vid. Mine is 5E. The washer won't go into spin cycle. It will spin as it does when testing as shown in video.
Drain error code, check your drain filter located on the bottom left side
Our Samsung washing machine model# WF45K6200AZ/A2 takes longer to wash. When I look at the timer, say 7 minutes, after a while it goes back to 16 minutes. What seems to be the problem?
If you find the answer please respond, I am also having the same issue and same model as your's. TY
I get code d se oe de d what does this code mean I have taken pump out and cleaned hoses to drain pump and filter still not working
What does the 5r code mean? How can I fix it?
Would you recommend this washer?
No. Samsungs are generally garbage. The rear bearings may, on average, last 7 years. My reccomendation for a front loader would be a similarly-priced LG. We get WAY less of them than Samsung's garbage.
@@bensappliancesandjunk How about a front loader LG tromm washer
@@bensappliancesandjunk Wish I knew this before purchasing from my current landlord. He only purchased it two years ago. I had a Kenmore set for over 15 years that I gifted to my parents before moving to this house and I never had one single issue with them. This Samsung set is garbage. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it now
Hey Ben, I have 5E and have drain issues on my Samsung washer. Any advice?
I have the same model. Mine says “d, - -, dE1,dE,3E2.” Then back the d again. I cant find any comments or videos about this.
