    Can’t tell you how grateful I am for this advice. I have almost 3k hours in siege and I’ve been so frustrated at why I’m not consistent with my aim. Some days it’s felt like a pain to aim upwards quickly and some days it’s easier. I never noticed that it had to do with my posture. Luckily I have the adjustable desk and chair so I’m able to fine tune how I need to and WOW. It has made such a difference in comfort and mobility of my arm. I’m able to aim wherever I need to without extreme effort and awkward movement because of bad posture. Huge difference. Can’t wait to try more ranked games with the correct posture.

    • @XxViPeRxGaMeRxX

      can you explain this. 1 day my aim is perfect then the next i cant hit shots that i would have yesterday. i also adjusted my chair height and it reduced the friction on the mousepad but im so inconsistent

      @yaboy3627 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@XxViPeRxGaMeRxX I would say start lowering your mouse sens. I’ve played with good posture and everything how I like it but with the wrong sens. I started at 1000dpi and every week I lowered it by 100. Now I’m at 200dpi and it means moving my hand across the desk more but I’m used to it now and it has made my aim so much better. No more overshooting really or shaking. Definitely worth the time if you’re willing to try.

    I was playing with a high table and a low monitor the whole time so I had to widen my arm placement and slouch when looking at the monitor. Videos like these are very important. Far too often you hear about old gaming legends experiencing health issues early in their lives for their ages. These things really matter if you're trying to compete at a high level. Posture is key. Especially for PC gaming where you're tied to a desk vs traditional gaming where you're tied to just a controller. The new generation of gamers have to be the difference in this department of self care and not succumb to the curse of bad posture due to neglecting their bodies physical needs.

    This was the exact topic I was hoping you'd cover. I was really hoping you went a little more in depth with this though. I have an adjustable desk and have been trying to find a good height for arm aiming however a 90 degree angle reference doesn't work as you need to extend your arms out in front to lay on the desk hence changing the height you would need to lay most of your forearm on the table. Also for the amount of flare on the arm also has to do with table height.

    I have been dealing with this for years and yeah I finally decided to chop it down the left side of my desk to lower the table to elbow height. Thank you so much for the help.
    On the strange side I decided to use my left hand/arm for my mouse to put less strain on my right shoulder.

    It’s so weird that I never realized I let my elbow be pushed out and be in a weird position when gaming or even working sometimes. That’s so crazy. Thanks for this video very informative and precise.

    This was very useful, by the end of the match my aim always goes off, and arm and shoulder starts aching. This is due to my table being higher. Fixed the issue by adding a pillow and now my arm is much relaxed.

  • @Majestid

    Actually this affects my ability to quick scope in a CoD I feel more accurate while there isn’t any off pressure on my arm, it’s better for gaming having your arm above the table and not below if you would have to chose one.

    Cool video. I've been working on mouse science since 2014. Seems like you made the same mistake I did in assuming the table "must be level with your arm". I needed the table higher up, because my grip (recoil & downward movement) depends on having a higher fulcrum point and a certain top-down pressure. My downward movement is from hand contraction/see-sawing my wrist down on the desk. When the table is lower, it changes the angle and makes it much harder to move downwards, I have to slide my wrist totally differently, of course I tried learning to aim the new way but it was really imprecise compared with what I already had. Now my table is propped up on pieces of wood, instant improvement overnight.
    Same logic applies to mice in general. Just "having one that fits comfortably" isn't enough IMO, it needs to fit moderately comfortably, but more importantly, allow you to do whatever you want to do in-game, and with as little "compensation" as possible.
