    Regarding what you said about mouse grip at the beginning, another option is to use raw accel. NOT for acceleration, but to change the rotation axis of your mouse to better accommodate a natural mouse grip.

    great video and interesting to see your improvements in cutting.
    i'd like to add:
    - the senses seen here like for s1mple and others are all in combination with 400dpi
    - there is a way to fix the angle from diagonal mouseholding with softwares, but this is not recommended, since you rely on it
    i personally cramped seeing those really hard wrist bends tho, cause i got RSI multiple times :D

    Great video, the only problem is that when you find your sensitivity for aiming on people infront of you like you showed, which for most people should be quite low, it tends to be way too slow to turn around if you get shot from behind or your side. My sens turned out being 1.79 and its great for stable aim but, when i have to check angles for example, i have to move my whole arm back and forth over my entire mousepad like a maniac which in turn ruins the stable aim. I assume there must be a way to find a middle ground, i just dont se how, its insanely hard to find a sweet spot way above your low sens sweet spot when it comes to stable aim.

    i use high sens in windows like 1200-2000 so my hand can rest while I'm not playing. Sensitivity is important, but you should also consider your hand health, many pro players need wrist and shoulder surgery because they don't really think and just want results, very low sens can provide better control but can be bad for you long term, I mean if your goal is to be one the best you need to be able to play without pain.
    For all these reasons I always gravitated towards higher sensitivity. It's not really a thing you notice when you're 16, but when you are 25 you start to notice the strain low sens can cause over time. Some exercises and generally not playing for 5-8 hours straight can prevent that completely though.

  • @WisdomPowerCourage
    @WisdomPowerCourage 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Wont this be misleading in terms of what sens is best for you against moving targets? A sens might be good in wrist range on stationary targets, but in many cases you will end up moving your whole arm against moving targets, because of longer distance to cover. Especially in games like Overwatch, Fortnite, Quake etc.

    Hey Rambo, i like your recommendations on how to pick a sensitivity that "feels" right. Iam wristaimer with clawgrip because i have very long fingers. I play cs2 at 1600 dpi and ingame sens of 0.925 at the moment, i really struggle at horizontal tracking while i use strafing. it feels like its always to slow. but for microcorrections its way to fast. what should i do in your opinion?

    • @Tenshou309
      @Tenshou309 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1600x0.925 sounds pretty high, you’re sure that you’re fine with it? What is exactly you’re issue with tracking? It should be smooth, did you try another sens that are smoother? If you’re new it’s normal that both things doesn’t feel perfect. Just pick something smooth and practice your (micro)flicks

    Would you argue that it's possible to have too low a sensitivity? Currently I play at 103CM/360 and I seem to perform best around this area in Aim trainers as well. Recently began attempting the Voltaic benchmarks and almost immediately hit Masters and am attempting to move to GM. I ask as I don't really see anyone else playing at these sensitivities.

    • @xanny57
      @xanny57 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you're comfortable and are not at risk of injury any sensitivity is fine imo.
      Of course there's a recommended range that works best for most people, depending on the game, but if you're already comfortable with 103 cm / 360 then why change? Do you think it's holding you back? Have you tried other sensitivities? Do you want to change?
      The only tip I can really give is that you should try to be a well-rounded player. In other words, try to have every category in the VT benchmarks be roughly on the same level. If you think your sensitivity is holding you back from being more well-rounded, then it might be worth looking into changing it up.

    • @RonRamboKim
      @RonRamboKim  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yes, definitely possible to have too low a sensitivity, but can make up for it with proper arm movement. Your choice of sensitivity depends on your game of choice, playstyle, and body limitations. For example, aggressive entry players need higher sensitivity, while far range lurkers generally prefer lower sensitivity.

    • @LucasJodokast
      @LucasJodokast 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was using 80cm/360 for awhile which gave me godlike long range aim but would struggle with close encounters, I ended up down to 20cm/360 but have since worked back up to 40cm/360 after increasing my mousepad size & learning to aim with my full arm, currently thinking I could go back to 80cm eventually, I love this stuff 😅
      But I don't think there is such a thing as too slow, as everyone has different natural movement limitations

    • @kennaee
      @kennaee 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For aim, yeah the lower the better (to an extent) but at least in CS movement is very important and with such low sens I find it very hard to keep moving smoothly since it's quite a bit of extra work. I went up to 0.85 / 800dpi and it feels nice to me. At first it felt very high but the added speed you gain from going bit higher feels very good.

    • @tyrantpotato5831
      @tyrantpotato5831 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      there is no "right" sens for anyone, high sens (20-30cm 360) trains completely different muscles to low sens, and whichever you played more will define which is more comfortable. if you want to really get good, you need to train both your aim and wrist anf that requires understanding how to view sens as a tool, tac fps like val? low sens 50-70cm is best. for a movement shooter like apex with heavy tracking you need a fast sens between 20-40cm.
      to get actually good my dude you need to train all the different muscles that get used in high sens and extremely low sens. once you can adapt to any sens you will start to find a middle ground that works for each game you play.
      it takes time, dont be affraid to change your sens, muscle memory is a myth, mouse control (teaching different muscle groups) is king.
