    This inspired me. Opened my mind to an idea i didnt think about. Thanks so much for this. Im gonna have to make a video of my project because as of right now your the only one who did this successfully and showed everything. This is the content i consume on yourube. I search for examples of ideas.

    Man, I found this video in just the right moment. Seems like you have figured out exactly what I've been trying to accomplish. I have a tri-toon with a new full enclosure and my boat is used 90% for fishing. I have invested tons of money into a portable solar system that I can use on boat or ice fishing. I also have 2 12v200ah lithiums. Which are way better than my 4x6volt golf cart batteries. Even with all this I plan on adding a fridge (Ultimate luxury would be a for the wife or parents). I'm to busy fishing to need that. I was searching all over the internet looking for something that could power my 24v 80# minn kota. I then was thinking I bet bow fishing with all those lights have to have a way to do it. Your video popped up first and dang am I glad I found it!!! Thank you for sharing.

    This is the video I've been waiting for. Looking at replacing batteries on a regular basis, going over all the alternatives of batteries and projected costs over time. The whole thing is depressing. Thanks for going where no man has gone before.

    I’d be more concerned about water shorting the boxes out than overheating. They will get hot so yea, open the lid.

    At about 12 minutes you talk about plugging into the gen first, making the line hot. My question is: could you have just ran a straight line from the converters through a rubber grommet, ultimately eliminating that "camper outlet"? I am about to do this same setup, so I'm wondering if that would be better

    Great content thanks for the information and showing us exactly how you did it. My only question is, is the generator a specific part of it you have to have that exact one or can you run any generator that’s rated for that many watts?

      Run any generator that has enough output to run your set up. I prefer Powermax because of their customer service but any one would work.

    Great video but the power cord to the trolling motor looks to small of gauge.

    I'd still rather have 1 36 volt lithium battery for my trolling motor and run lights off generator . The 4500 weights 110 lbs the 2300 weights 54 lbs , the 2300 should run the lights wouldn't it

      You bet. The 2300 should run your lights just fine if they are LED and you make sure not to over power it. Thanks for checking out the video.

    So you are not running any batteries in between your setup? Do you notice any drawbacks of not having them?

    • @muddyriveroutdoors4855
      @muddyriveroutdoors4855  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is correct I dont run any batteries. I was told when I did this set up that not running batteries between the converters and the troller would burn up the chip board on the troller. The chip board did finally go out but after three years of hard use. In my opinion getting rid of three heavy batteries was worth it since I got three years out of that chip board. That being said the lithium batteries I have herd are so much lighter and last so long that I am considering going that route.

      What settings on the controller did you run? Fixed or 3 stage and what voltage did you have it set? Did you notice any difference in trolling power from batteries to the converters?

      @@breakingsilencetv189 you want to run fixed. If you run three stage it will not work well at all. Mainly I noticed a difference because the power is always there and I never was wondering if my batteries were dead.
