Alot of people are asking the question about using batteries or generators to power their bowfighing lights and trolling motor. In this video I talk about what I do and why.
Brother that was so kind of you to give him a shout out. Just subbed you just for that alone. Looking forward to this video. I will comment later as well. Dale.
Thank is for taking the time to share this video with us. I had never thought about a few of these things. Well done and excellent delivery of the information. I will go check out your friends stuff as well. Dale.
my set up seems to be ever changing. I am now running a 36v trolling motor off of a singel 36v battery . I broke down and bought a lithium battery to run the troller. The power delivery will be much smoother than running it off of a power converter and a generator. and by going lithium and only having one battery it is a weight savings. just not a money savings. lol... if ya wanna play ya gotta pay I guess. Thanks for wathching.
@@muddyriveroutdoors4855 Yes Sir, I completely understand that, I have a 36 volt battery and motor for my kayak. I have had some issues with it this spring, after storage, currently working with the Manufacture in hopes of a warranty fix, slow process, but in the mean time, I am wiring my boat up for the lights etc, while I wait to see if they will help me with the 36 volt. I may go with a 36 volt trolling motor on the Jon boat, if I can get this issue with them resolved. Thanks again and have a blessed week my friend. Dale
Guys wanting to run batteries be sure to check out the new E-FISH-N SEE bowfishing lights. they're the only bowfishing light designed from the ground up for the sport of bowfishing and maximized for batteries or generators.
I'm starting to draw up plans for a bowfishing setup. Getting a 24v trolling motor converted to run off a generator intrigues me. how did you go about doing this? how expensive was it?
I called up PowerMax told them exactly what all I was running and the specs on it and the figured out everything I needed to make it all work off of their 4500w generator and converters. Give them a call. they are great to work with! I absolutly love my set up.
my dad has that one. I have not used it myself but see other bowfishermen using it. I think it should be ok as long as you dont try and max it out. The actual operating levels may be alot less than advertised.

@@muddyriveroutdoors4855 awesome thanks for the info!
Did you bring all those batteries in one trip ?
I'm thinking about the harbor freight predator generator. Have you heard anything about them?

@@muddyriveroutdoors4855 fair enough
I use the predator generator for 4 years and it's worked great for us we've had no problems
