  • Gavin is a pretty serious bowfisherman and has a bit of experience in the sport. In this video Gavin gives a quick tour of his bowfishing boat and explains a few modifications. Gavin also shows us the bow he currently uses to bowfish and what he recommends for beginners.

Hopefully you got the upgraded power kit and cable roller for it. The original cable side cut the cables and was causing them to blow up

That light set up with how you wired everything would make an AWESOME video because that looks clean and tight!

Just getting into the game, I have a 14ft tin can, what size trolling motor would you recommend?

Nothing less than 45 lbs thrust. 55 lbs would probably be best.

Don't have a link but they're the Viugreum 50w LED Flood Light warm white lighting on Amazon. As of now they're $25.99 each.

So I’m pretty much doing the same thing. The lights I ordered are AC power 110-120v lights. Do I need to run a fuse between generator and lights

No fuse needed. Plug directly into the generator. -Gavin

@@theoutdoorrealm1658 thx for info. What kind of wire did you run to generator? SO cord? If so what gauge?

I Cut the female end off a 12 gauge extension cord. Wired the spliced end of the cord into the switch. Then you can run the male end of the extension cord and plug directly into the generator. -Gavin
