      No worries for your audio glitch, these things happen sometimes, however all your videos are good quality anyway.
      For over £11,000,000, this appartment is very nice and all that but we think it's a bit too big, lush and extravagant for ourselves. Only two car spaces for that price... How the other half live eh! 🙃
      The house in Dunchurch, Rugby for just under £1,000,000 would be more for us but still too massive for us if you know what I mean.
      We like the Barratt style 3/4 bedroom houses you show us sometimes around the £350,000 to £500,000 price marker.
      Keep going with your videos thankyou.
      Regards 😀

    • @romanhoszowski4194
      @romanhoszowski4194 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@jerryrawlings8885 You're right. It's a nightmare. I done something similar in a prestigious location in Poland. It's extremely expensive and it's a completely different type of work process than in normal case remodeling. We had to pay the roads authority for using part of the road in front of the building. To optimize the costs we stored the building waste in the flat (what wasn't easy because you can't store it in one place - it weights to much, so the walls, where the construction is the strongest were covered with full bags). And then every time we had ca. 80 full bags, a truck came and 10 members of the stuff were taking them downstairs (there was no lift and we were not allowed to use the construction yellow waste pipe) and loaded the truck as quickly as possible. Another member used a powerful industrial vacuum cleaner ( that was standing inside the apartment to minimalize the noise on the staircase) with very long elastic pipe to clean the stairs afterwards. Whereby it's worth to mention that we used double bags - an extremely durable bag that can hold up to 100kg and and outer plastic bag to keep everything clean). I had to hire on this project more people just to conduct the work in a completely different manner than usual.

It was a pleasant two bedroom apartment with similar views etc. but much more livable and down to earth than this extravagant spread. It is an amazing space with very poor architectural choices. At the end of the day you have only two suites and a bedroom (the Chinese) with a bathroom at the corridor. A place like that would demand at least one more room for the staff, unless you manage to hire a couple who will take care of everything. The low ceiling of the 7th floor is caustrophobic...
    Even the 8th floor is more awkward than amazing: looks like a fancy nightclub. It will be hard to sell...

      Maybe KC has changed but when I lived in London it was pretty run down and scruffy.
      If I had getting on for 12M quid to spend on a home I'd really want to buy in an upscale location with good local shops and more a villagey vibe. So maybe Hampstead, Highgate or Chelsea where I could get a nice Georgian house with a garden for this sort of money.

    Definitely paying for the location and the prestige of living in the St Pancras Hotel. I loved level 6. I loved having his and hers dressing rooms. But I have a but, it’s the top floor. The beams are lovely but it doesn’t really feel like a living space to me. It’s an entertaining space. I understand that if you’re in town for business you’re probably going to be doing some entertaining and the top floor is perfect for that. For a more home feel for the days you’re not entertaining, remodel the bedroom floor and put in a drawing room or something. I don’t really like the staff quarters on the middle floor either, it’s evident why they are on the middle floor, because if you want to make the best of this specific property you’re not going to want to put staff on the top floor, but just seems wrong having them in the middle of the house. As someone else has said, that floor needs a bit of updating. I’d also want a family kitchen as well as a chef kitchen.
    In Its current form, the penthouse is a travel crash and party house. Not really a home in the city. I would think the price for the location is probably fairly reasonable. But I think for me I’d rather just book a suite at the hotel when in town rather than live there for any period of time. You wouldn’t have to pay staff then either.

The chandeliers and lighting in the great 3 floor were incredible for the 2 seconds I got to see them. Last also on the third floor was the beams. They looked original which means they fell the trees during HM Queen Victoria. The trees themselves were around for the American revolution. That in itself blows my mind. I wish you could have spent a little more time on that. You could probably see tool marks made by a craftsman that died over a hundred years ago. His masterpiece lives on. Great job you guys

      Are there many thousand acre fields in Scotland? Seems fairly hilly and often rocky, and I bet 1,000 acres of proper farmland or any reasonably flat, cleared areas up that way are going to command a premium. Plus 3 'castle's? I doubt it. Maybe a junior/starter castle that needs repairs with some land, but not a real estate like you're saying for the same price. Plus, the 3 rules of real estate/property are: Location, location, location. There are reasons London commands a much higher premium over most of Scotland. You could do a lot with 12 million pounds anywhere else.

    If the 80,000 people who’ve watched this all clubbed together, it would only cost us £143.75 each to be a 1/80,000th owner. However, we would have to live for 219 years to all be guaranteed one day in the house lol

    For those with that type of Bank, and those not wanting to be tied down to a house that may be their way to go. I'm quite sure they will also benefit from all the amenities of the hotel. But for me, if I was so blessed to be in that multi- millionaire status, I think I'd still like to have my own individual home for 11 million. Nice, but I think some modern furniture and decorations would really help the look.

    I love that building and I could see myself living there. But if I had that kinda money I would rent it out. It's a excellent location for travel and if you're a business man who has to travel. This would be perfect. You could make a decent money from renting it out. I know a few oversea business people who would love this. They could live there with their family and be in the heart of the city within mins or fancy getting a train to Paris or just get a train to go pretty much anywhere.
