Another great review, Peter! Misterkit is/was a line of acrylic paints made in Italy, renown for their WWI color matched range. I bought several of their colors when an online company here in the US was having a close-out sale. I haven't used them yet, but from what I've read about them, they are finicky to airbrush and don't have the best adhesion. The most frequent comments I've read is that they are very similar to Lifecolor paints (also made in Italy, and are water based acrylic).

That beautiful kit is crying to be built. I have built 3 WnW kits so far and they live up to the reputation. I have a few left in the stash and they will all be built before the decals go bad.

I appreciate your videos! Not many people like this kind of stuff, but hey, I wish they would, it is not just the model making, but you learn about the history along with the building of the kit that makes it worthwhile.

This is good because you can ghost the decals more easily! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The red baron used to fly an albatross before he flew the focker tri_plane.
    He was a deadly pilot.
I believe his real name was, Manfred von richchthofen?

He flew Albatros D.II/III/V before the Fokker D.VII

@@BlackKnight344 thanks for putting me right on that!
I knew something was right in what I said, I just got a bit mixed up.
      Thanks mate!

Peter, the silence from Wingnuts, or its administrators, is deafening. Surely some other manufacturer would happily buy their moulds??

you would think so, wouldn't you? I suspect Peter Jackson is unwilling to Sell them though, for whatever reason...😕

Tragic that such a fine scale model manufacturer such as WingNut wings ceased to exist.
Rumour has it that Peter Jackson’s own tax issues brought about its demise!
    Who knows!?
Another rumour is implying that Trumpeter may take up the reins! Don’t think that would be a bad thing.....

I noticed that you mentioned Tamiya , during the course of the video. Get it right Peter! Any American kit builder worth his salt will tell you that it’s pronounced “T’meer”. 😂

Peter means well. But these are not investments. The tools are alive and well and soon as this LVG makes it into the injection machine they will be available for 100 GBP just like several others of similar size and complexity right now. Buy a WNW because you want to build it today. These kits will still be plentiful when our grandkids retire in 2080!

They produced easily the best Modes ever, and had their. Prices been more realistic for ordinary level modellers, they would have been unstoppable!
    Such a pity!
