I sure wish I would have started collecting these in the beginning. I have 12 WNW kits in my stash at the moment! Just want to say another great video Sir!
I'm back Peter!!. Just catching up on your latest videos. I am very envious of you having these superb kits they are true works of art I've never seen anything like them.
Hi John, Welcome back! Unfortunately these last 4 WnW are actually owned by a relative, - I am not rich enough to buy them! How is your health, my friend?
@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab I've had nothing but trouble with my ankle stump and it became apparent that the lower leg would have to go. As my consultant said we'll just nip it off below the knee!. And they have done and I feel a lot better. I'm getting about a lot easier because I haven't got the pain anymore. Looking forward to doing some modelling in the near future.
@@johnf3885 Sorry to hear that John, yet also pleased for you if that has relieved the problem. Hope you will see big improvements going forward. Do you get a prosthetic leg now then? Have you seen young racing driver Billy Monger who tragically lost both his legs in a horrible racing crash? He seems to get along brilliantly now with these new legs and you easily just forget about his 'disability'! 👍🏻 Wishing you better days ahead, Buddy! ☺️
Forgot to say: John, Have you seen this one...Something different & I think you might find it interesting & enjoyable: th-cam.com/video/B2wWRBAvjaI/w-d-xo.html
@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab Morning! Peter, I have seen it several times, it is so attractive, I don't that any model company will take over the molds for this long time unavailable kit, I will definitely get one in some future buddings.
@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab Windsock books of both main G bombers have a few pics of horrible nose overs. Some factory fresh. I have one AEG GIV from Classic Plane (vacuform) and two from Merlin both 72 scale. The Merlin kit not one of their best but the classic plane looks great.
400 GBP? Serious high value kit? Two years after this video there are a dozen on eBay for less than 200 GBP. All of these kits are still being produced on rotation. (Andy's Hobby Headquarters has SIX different plane kits brand new in stock online today.) Add to that the fact so many of these were bought and stuck on a high shelf never to be opened again. Buy a WNW because you WANT to build it. These are not investments.
You are correct, but perhaps you are not aware that the reason for the lower price on this item is because this was one of the items that was in the recent final containers of stock that was released early ‘23, thus more were available. See my ‘WNW Lost Ark’ Vids.
Ppl clinging to these as a money maker is stupid in the long term. In 20yrs you'll be able too get them for nothing once the decals degrade as they do with age. A model built will be worth more at that point. The stupidity of greed. Wait and you'll find the one you want cheap. Patience wins always. Let these dummies eat the current cost craze. Remrmber to knock off for handling those instructions too...lol
Matchbox kits are now 50 years old and have degraded transfers but worth 20 to 30 times their original value. That makes these kits worth £2500 at keast by then.

Another fab video, bit envious of all WNW you have
Sadly these last 4 are not mine...😢
Peter, you keep this up I would want to buy one of these wingnut wings kits!😀
We will soon convert you, Stephi...but you better check with your bank manager first! 😆

Bloody krauts! Throwing out my AEG domestic machinery right away😂
I have 20 unbuilt WNW’s kits in my stash

I got one right after I heard the bad news from WnW last year. I was a bit regret for not having a Gotha.
Great move, Steven! Have you seen my Gotha review?

Nice kit and sad they went bankrupt but if they'd made ME109s, Spitfires and Hurricanes to the same standard they'd probably still be in business 😞
@@cyberleaderandy1 They did NOT go bankrupt. Fact. Sir Peter Jackson simply closed the business when they stopped getting grants from the NZ Gov...
@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab so had no money 🤔 or couldn't exist without subsidy? Not a great business model.
Is Wingnut gone?
Yes, they closed the company 12 months ago.😢
@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab confused as to why it says ‘new’ wingnut wings in the title then?

They all nosed over easily that's for sure.
