  • More WnW torture for my viewers...I take a look at the lovely Roland kit, and lament what we have lost in WnW...(Warning: Contains a Teddy-Bear!)

The sheer pleasure that comes across is infectious. This along with the DH2, DH9a and Fe2b early, are on my wishlist. I've built a couple and have two WNW in the stash. Next to make is the Copper State Nieuport 17, I'm a very slow modeller. I love your enthusiasm for model kits.

Another great review of an amazing kit. I have this one and plan to build it. That's what they are for. I have some that are considered rare but I bought them when they were new and plan to build every last one if I live long enough.

Peter, great review of an amazing model, it's looks like it would be a really fun and impressive build, the instructions were incredible as always for WnW

Ten out of ten for the kit, and you as well, Peter! Thank you for this wonderful video review.

Great video Peter 10/10. I try to ration your videos to a coupe a week while I catch up with your back catalog! What are your model rigging skills like? do you have any tips?

Thanks John, but...Oh dear...my rigging skills are ZERO! 😖 This is why I have shyed away from building one so far! 😥

The WNW instructions are incredible, they make the graphic designer in me most happy. One day I will get a WNW kit ... (When I feel my modelling skills are ready to tackle one!)

Hi Mike, Yes they are really beautiful works of art in their own right... WnW getting rare and expensive though, so best grab one while you can! 👍🏻

@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab My 'stash' is less than a dozen kits, something I am trying to manage and keep under control - I don't want to fall into the trap of buying every kit that tickles my fancy, and then having too much choice and being unable to pick which one to build next! (It's bad enough for as it is! Also, limited funds helps immensly!)
I'm hoping that in a couple of years I'll have built my fledgling skills up enough to tackle a WNW, AND do it justice ... I'm also hoping they won't be rarer than hens teeth by then! (Are other manufacturers taking on the old WNW molds?)

@@zombikombi59 Yes, agree with you...only the Dr.1 Fokker Triplane mold has been taken on by Meng so far. 😕

@@Peter-Oxley-Modelling-Lab That makes good busniess sense of course, but it was all the obscure machines that made WNW head and shoulders above the rest, also a a business model doomed to failure?

@@zombikombi59 Yes, they should have maybe done some popular WW2 subjects like FW190, Mustang and got the Lancaster on the market...suspect they were so niche they disappeared up their own market!
