Hopefully Chris will do an appropriate set when Kotare eventually release a Mk.V Mid with trop filter so that I can do a Malta based diorama. I've also suggested to him that some cameras and fittings might make for interesting early PR versions.

For the prices of kotare and Wingnut nuts, I’m not buying any after markets for them.

The scenic stuff is from the hornby range, so I would imagine predominantly 1/72 scale. Great review thanks

Looks VERY detailed. Should more than make up for the kits lack of detail.

Matchbox at their time made some unique model aircraft subjects including the Do28/Piston Provost being a few examples that are absolute gems . I’m sure the trench lines at the time was something to do with tax ? Making the look like a toy ? How muck truth in this not sure . Maurice have a talk at my local model club at the time in West Drayton with his so called nurse … hmmmm , but he was excellent 👍 .

1979/1980 was the release date and sold for the princely sum of £1.35

We will have to mark you down half a point 🤣 for the different variants, but still you are one of the best reviewers on models, doing my first ICM kit and l am not disappointed 👍
