The problem I see with the cleaning is you should never have to add gas to the unit.If it needs gas then there is a leak somewhere and if gas is just added it can cause the unit to not cool properly. Those types of units normal have what's called a critical change weight meaning they should the exact amount as listed on the unit data plate. I'm a retired HVAC service tech and have worked on thousands of those types of units.
Totally agree, if you have to top your car A/C, you've got a bloody leak in the system somewhere.
I agree and I am also a HVAC technician
You got sweet-talked my friend 😆😆😆
it's actually best to have your A/C Freon topped off once a year, particularly before summer.
You can be as stingy as you want but that added gas is a godsend during summer.
It can't be avoided that some gas will leak as time goes on which is normal.
You really only need to replace it if you find discrepancies in the cooling like the A/C losing its cool even after cleaning.
Nothing is really sealed, atoms do pass certain materials specially if they are smaller and pressure is high. its takes time but they certainly do.
That Hilux was sweet, especially for less than $15,000 USD.
I agree could make it look really hot with aftermarket parts :-)
They are not available in the US because of a 25% tarrif that it said makes them less affordable.
There might be a 25% tariff but Toyota does not sell them here in the US intentionally. You can purchase via JDM though......@@danniejones2032
@@danniejones2032 I would buy it even with a 25% price increase......and many would, they don't sell it here because it wont meet our standards for safety and whatnot...which are the toughest in the world.

"Very good, very good" We miss the intro!!! 😂
Bit 2 early in the morning for that, but well spotted. Thanks for watching :-)
Jonny always has interesting commentary in his videos...like when he was telling Som to get it all in her mouth. I thought it was funny that she just had to laugh. She's a trooper.
I just had my AC cleaned in Australia for $130 . They didn't regas, ripped paint of the walls getting cover off and scratched the wall, left mud and water over the floor and turned up late.
I prefer your version in HuaHin
ACs don't need to be recharged unless they have a leak.
That "regassing" is bull**** bud. Don't fall for that extra charge if they ever ask lol
“You know what crack is?” classic Johnny question 😂😂
Maybe a new t-shirt design coming! What you think Leo? lol
@@jonnyasia I'D buy one for the neighborhood crack head down the street
Ewwwwww 😂😂😂
Almost as funny when she got upset about som Tom 😂😂😂
This guy is priceless.
the woman who cleaned the air conditioner had great energy and a very beautiful smile
Burgers looked great could do with one right now . Always interesting and entertaining, hope all is well with the family 🙏peace
Thanks Micheal hope you are well 🙂
Hi Jonny and Som, Great how you always put up the cost's of everything on screen and in different currencies.
Love you're Vloggs as a medium long subscriber!! about 4 year's now Jonny for me.
Cheers from central Old, soon to be Philipines before years end.😊😀
That burger van has it sorted. What a great little business, and you get to trip around. Great watch Jonny
Good Video Jonny and Som 😊. Wishing I was there visiting.
Keep the video's comin.
Stay Safe 💕 💞 🙏 🙏
Awesome video mate! We might have missed the opportunity for that burger this go around. We are currently in Bangkok, buying gifts, for our upcoming trip to visit my family in Germany 🇩🇪.
If you are afraid of only eating asian food when in Thailand, fret not Ol Boy. Thailand has everything!!! Loved this series
Was that your phone Jonny 4.41 mins in or mine!!!
I looked at my phone thinking it was mine the sound was so good! 🤣
Very good very good . No worries for the short video. Thank you for taking us along with you . Cheers to you both 🍻🥂
“Put it ALL in there, good girl”…That’s the way to encourage her Jonny..The praise and encouragement will help you later in the evening …you’ll see😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
That is all the truck I need. They don't sale them in the US because almost all of our trucks start north of $25K. A decently spec'ed truck pushes $40K.
Yeah but they wanna sell the west the more expensive Hilux models!! They are rich lol 🤑
Going through the US DOT approval process would add thousands to the price plus shipping costs. Too bad, it's a cool looking sensible truck.
Do Hilux's there come with the heavy weapons already mounted in the back or do you have to bring your own?
Up 2 you lol :-)
Hey Jonny, love your Escort. Any chance of doing a vid on it showing what has been done to it?
Thanks mate yeah i filmed about 3 or 4 videos on the restoration when i 1st started the channel. But i recommend this video th-cam.com/video/KWe1VSrkq3Q/w-d-xo.html from 1 ford lover to the another thanks for watching :-)
I’d let that lady clean my unit any day. Burgers looked pretty good. Always a good show, Jonny!
That’s an awesome looking truck - the Hilux Champ. It’s very rugged and utilitarian looking. No frills - perfect for work.
Gday mate - cool video
Burgers looked good 👌 - I think the “ champ “ will sell well in Thailand
- very good - Thanks my friend ✔️😄👍👋🙏
Jonny and Som, y'all rock! Damn, that sales lady was fine🥰. That burger didn't look so bad, either 😂. Peace
Som looks so young with her short hair, sales lady was so cute.
Found this channel researching this truck. Subscribed. Sucks truck not coming to the USA. 🤠✌🏽
My Girlfriend sells Toyotas in Ubon Ratchathani she is the sales director at the Toyota Deluxe there ,The Hilux is a very cool truck for sure ,nice video !
I love when you tease her Shes so happy go lucky
Does the Ute come in 4wd?
As far as I know, the 2 liter petrol isn't (yet?) available in Thailand.
We can opt for the 2.7 petrol or the 2.4 diesel versions, manual or automatic, short or long wheel base and finally with or without truck bed?!
Great show Johnny. Enjoy the day. 100 burgers a day. That's crazy. Next time I'm there I'll check it out. 😊
Glad to see they are readily available now. I am considering buying one when I get back from holiday in the US
Saw this truck in Market Village, awesome. As a farmer this truck is the dogs.
Great content, 450-500 baht for a air con service, gee in my town even the call out is $110 ( 2600 baht)
Nice one Jonny, great video
nice video keep up the good work !
@1.58 min...."it originated from Suckerthani I think" - correct, very good!
That's a couple of serious burgers there Sir...and in the same breath, also creating "burger mayhem" limiting supply and demand. Genius. 🍔🤣
I’ve been a UAW vehicle purchaser my whole life I’ve had several UAW built vehicles. Throughout my union career I’ve always purchased union built vehicles. I would have a hard time buying that Toyota truck.
But if I lived in Thailand, I would probably consider it. That thing is sweet!
I would get the box diesel with an automatic transmission.
Then I would go to a custom shop and have a few custom things done to it.
could you imagine having a small slide out camper? That would be the bomb for traveling around Thailand!!!
And maybe a motorcycle hitch that would carry a Enduro motorcycle on the front end .
We need a basic work truck like the Toyota Hilux Champ in the United States. The cheapest truck you can get here is well over two times that price. Ugh.
Yeah but they wanna sell the west the more expensive hilux models lol :-)
Soon made in mexico toyota hilux champ free trade with USA and canada
1:34 was just there a couple days back and grabbed a burger and fries. They come once per year to Hua Hin.
Good video Jonny, a bit of a shame everyone wanted a very good very good video but alas the very good was no where to be seen. 😁
Wow awesome video Jonny and Som😊
Love your channel!
Thank you, glad to hear that :-)
That Hilux is a chunker, front bumper is monstrous.
Who cares
@jonsmith9708 obviously you did enough to reply 😂
When you opened that Bonnet I was so shocked as there were no covers against heavy rain or adverse weather , looked like a mess?
Yeah i was actually shocked also, but cars 30 years ago didn't have all this black plastic covering the engine and we had no problems then. Gotta keep the cost down i imagine, but yeah very rare to see these days
Just a guess but I think Toyota know how to make reliable cars at this point
Well done! You and your girl are looking more healthy these days. Bravo good show mate.
Can I grey import a champ to Australia? What do other Australians think?
i think here in the Philippines we use the toyota tamaraw instead of hilux champ. it is to continue the lineage of the tamaraw way back 70s i think and the last tamaraw was the tamaraw fx revo which ended 2004 i think.
Johnny, that looks like a coronary burger to me, lol. I got hungry watching you eat.
Burger's did look good. And thanks for the report and Price of the New Hilux Champ. Jonny, what was the price cost of the high Package. . I buy one here, but the US would want charge high $$$ the price. Enjoy your burgers and day there in Hua Hin.
The kitted out package was only LED headlights and a few dash LEDs around aircon vents etc. Prob could have someone do that in aftermarket they are turning them into, food trucks, campers, enclosed delivery trucks. You name it lol, but a excellent truck i think for a good work horse 🙂
Thanks Jonny
Thanks guys , enjoy ...
Thanks karl hope you are well 🙂
Looks like a baht bus johnny.. Did you go back for a second burger? Was it really Aussie beef?
It could be a Bang Bus also lol!! No i couldn't eat another, well that's what they said. We just have to trust them lol
Wow, you're living the dream! I do wish they would bring the Champ to the USA, we don't need big lumbering pickups to do work, we need something simple, reliable and rugged. Every truck is a luxury car now and I think a lot of us don't wanna pay for that extra stuff. I know I don't anyhow.
That'll be a little tough, since there's that protectionist legislation like the infamous "chicken tax" law in the US...
@@kristoffermangila Yeah true and none of us want it whatsoever.
@@HildegardActual you didn't see the other comments? There are some fellas who really want that vehicle in the US.
Hey Jonny, nice burger and truck! Hey I bought a tshirt from you guy’s awhile back when in Arizona. I live in Pattaya now, can I get a white one from you guys? What’s your website again please. Thanks Rob
Would be nice to have that Toyota champ for my little construction business but I think you right it will impact the sales of the hilux
What would it cost to ship to Gold Coast Australia?
You probably wouldn’t be able to get it registered for some emission problem or something crazy 😝
Will be in bkk in 3 weeks for a test drive and work it out from there.
Hi Jonny, the air conditioner lady was cute and, why does the bugger truck only sell 100 bergers a day?
What’s the name of the song/beat playing at very end of video ?
5 and 7 on the burger isn't too impressive.
The diesel long bed truck is an amazing value for small business owners in Thailand. Toyota has a winner there.
Som actually said 9 for the burger review i thought that was a bit high. 100% agree Toyota nailed it with this new model, just a shame they aren't shipping to west.
@@jonnyasia Ask her again, that face she made didn't connote a 9.
Look Dana!! Let's be honest here what would a Thai Lady know about Hamburgers? lol@@Dana-ie2bh
@@jonnyasia True, and the Thai's smile at everything. And as you pointed out, a Thai vendor will tell you what you want to hear.
Is the lettuce and tomato organic? Of course it is! Lol.
You also noted that the grill was not hot enough. The whole idea of a smash burger is to get the Maillard Reaction on the entire burger.
is there a 4WD variant?
Only 4x2 but you upgrade offroad with aftermarket parts wheels suspension autoblock boost hp and torque add family cab RV and etc
always clean hotel room filters, easy. i hope none of the "meat" is from Xi-Na. WHEN will they bring it to USA? I want one too!
Was that a mk 1 Escort that I saw there?
Yeah Michael I restored it in Bangkok 😊👍
Hey johnny new to the channel. I'd love a look around your Escorte1🇦🇺👌
I can still remember when Toyota realesed their Tamarraw in the philippines back in the 70s...
Jonny, in the last video I watched, you were mailing a DNA Test to Texas ($10 USD approx). For such a long distance, I thought that was a good price...a very good price. The A/C repair (FIXDEE) seems pretty reasonable, and the cost on that Toyota pickup truck $14.5K is super cheap. It must not have A/C in it. The Condo that you look at in the previous video was super cheap for the value...less than $250 USD per month I think!?!?!?!? I wasn't expecting that. I live in Texas, and originally from Los Angeles. Unfortunately, those hamburgers didn't really look that impressive to me, especially for the price. If I ever make it over there, I will try to look them up, and give them a try. Great content as always.
Im not a ford guy Jonny but that mrk1 is bloody nice 👌
Thanks Dan, if you bring me a new 2024 totally kitted out Toyota Camry thats MK1 Escort is all yours lol :-)
This guy is a f-ing legend
Thanks for watching Stephen hope you enjoyed it lol 😀
100 Burger's by choice or limited license?
I have no idea maybe send them a message on facebook and ask please find attached contact details!! facebook.com/OHOburger18?mibextid=LQQJ4d
That’s a good Ute and price, it would be good if it was sold in Australia 😊
I think only because ppl would buy so many the production capability couldn’t keep up & also sales on the typical higher priced Hilux would fall though the ass. Always screw the west at all cost lol. But yeah aussie tradies would love them
Could you import one to Australia and would you know or somebody know how much please to do this
As one driving a 2 liter Corolla Cross AWD here in the deserts of California i wish we could get this truck here...
Buying the Highly Wanted Toyota HILUX CHAMP! Made in Thailand. Impressive and interesting video.
Basically a cheap worktruck.
I like this. And once this successful many companies will try this too
Wrap your laughing gear round that burger Som. Whats not to like about a Hilux. Good work Johnny.😂😂😂
Yeah i had to edit that a bit andrew lol. Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it :-)
Re-gas the AC? The refrigerant in ACs is in a closed-loop system. If your ac is low on refrigerant, it has a leak.
It's unfortunate that they're only for those markets. I contacted my local dealership here in The Bahamas because I was trying to order a fleet of 10 of these for a business and wanted to special order them. They reached out to Toyota Corporate for me to see if they'll allow our dealership to sell them here but it looks like the answer was no. Guess I'll just have to import them, sigh.
Toyota will be coming out with the "Stout" within a year for the US market (maybe other markets too). It is smaller than the "Tacoma", close to the Hilux size and the videos I've seen said it would start around $25K US. They are based on the RAV4 chassis.
Man it sucks, that no where else is getting the Hilux Champ... Mainly America.. heh.. It looks like a great Utilitarian vehicle.
And I saw a video where someone had changed out the wheels, and it makes a night and day difference on how sharp looking the truck can be.
Thanks for doing the video.
Jonny, $25 for 2 burgers …. That is price at Betty’s Burgers in Oz …
Son is lovely ….. great sport putting up with Ozzie humour 😂
This truck would outsell everything else with the great price point here in Canada 🇨🇦
❤😮 who owns the mk1 escort mate ?
I think the upcoming Jimny rival by Toyota will be based on the champ, what do you think guys?
That champ is nice. Looks like it has the 2.4L from the base model hilux and fortuner. Will sell like hotcakes here in the Philippines if priced right.
Most likely it won’t meet our safety standards. I can see by the bumper that alone wouldn’t work and no rear view camera. All cars must be equipped with one as well. I wanted to buy a Suzuki in Mexico and import it here but wasn’t able to for many safety reasons.
You are correct the reasons it is not permitted to be sold or imported into Western countries are the safety standards, injuries to pedestrians etc and it doesn't meet emissions restrictions.
@@raymonde4272 emissions, good point.
Price is ok for the Champ, nice big tray but looks light weight....Any information you share is always good so Thank You....
Burgers & trucks awesome 🤩 hope you’re well mate
Nigel cant go wrong Burgers and Trucks lol. Hope you are well mate, have a great weekend 🙂
No left side?
Cleaning is good, if you have to recharge rhe ac it has a keak.
Awesome, I would buy one if I could in the USA
my goodness. all that's missing from that truck are larger wheels and tires. excited to see that here in the Philippines.
Tamaraw?
6:16 I'm sure he's said that before! 🤣
Hey Jonny, this or Shakeshack?
Not surprised...Still a good video, thanks.
Good. Show more vehicles, and various things you can buy there but not the US etc.
I will try, thank for watching glad you enjoyed it🙂
Soms definitely got the goods 🔥😍
Thought som said 5,but you said 9...7 seems right,by the look.
Som said 9 i thought that was a bit high, i would have liked more seasoning on the meat and higher grill temp for char. But for the price you cant go wrong 🙂
It's most likely the stupid CARB regulations in the states that's prohibiting import. That's the same reason why all the mid-sized pickup trucks are now the same size as their full size counterparts. The Champ is too small now and wouldn't pass CARB's MPG requirements for a truck that small.
Haha you’re a CRACK up bro 😎 I tell my missus she’s a coke freak all the time 😂 she loves me i swear.. I’ll be keeping an eye out for that burger truck.. in surin we have JUNKIES burgers, they are mad and they also have a bar attached 🍻❤
Toyota just registered new parts in Brazil that appear to be from this new model, maybe it's going to Latin America as well
Yeah they def going to South America, you will see them spreading out soon i imagine. Just not the west lol
