Toyota must bring this in South Africa and Australia it’s perfect 🔥🔥🔥 it’s everything you need for work . Carsauce love you videos Bro’s from South Africa 🔥🔥
Toyota needs to bring it to the USA also and make it US road legal. here in the US we need 4 WD or at least all wheel drive as the snows get deep at times and prefer cloth seats and a extended cab for the gear.
In the PH jeepney modernization process, i think this will fit the market especially because FILIPINOS are creative in redesigning it for mass transport like the old jeep into a jitney.
I love the design of the different Toyota Ute's from countries like Australia and Saudi Arabia. I don't want a big truck for all kinds of expensive reasons. Typically the practical smaller trucks aren't sold in the United States. Bummer. 🙄
I would buy the 2.4 diesel tomorrow if brought to Australia. I agree with your comment about the current toyota ute, old outdated, the Ford Ranger is just that much better, and that coming from a Toyota fan boy..... Bring the Champ down under. I am even considering the Mahindra over the current luxes, that should ringing alarm bells for Toyota Australia. Mark Williams - Bring the Champ and it will be a tradie classic, a farms friend, a couriers dream and will dominate the 2WD small ute and van market.
I think this would be a great addition to Toyotas fleet in Aus. It would be perfect for couriers, tradies and farmers who want a basic Ute that doesn’t cost a fortune.
Could not agree with you more. Looking for a new small ute in Australia is now an impossible dream. The only ones for sale are more like tanks than utes. I just want something that I can run about town in and take some stuff to the dump. I don't need a tank.
That's better than what the Toyota trucks in the 1980s put out and they were small inexpensive pickup trucks and everybody loves them we need High lux champ in the United States
correction - it's not exactly 'legos for adult' situation, you have to modify it like any other pickup, but Toyota at least move stuff around a bit to make it easier to modify, and also offer official financing with the mods the thing is, Thailand is known for modding their truck, often you will see a D-Max with 3m metal fence(yes, I say it right, the fence alone is 3m) and/or carry 6-7 tonnes of stuff, some of them do that while being lowered like drag racing truck and still doing 100mph
Suzuki has been kicking ass for near 50 years selling the Jimmy/Sierra/LJ 4wd, this shows there is a real need for simple vehicles including a ute like this. People want simple again. Manual everything, less to go wrong. The laws requiring all the safety equivalent in Australia need to be revised to allow 2 seat vehicles to not have it.
Toyota built the TUV (Toyota Utility Vehicle) in the mid-80's, a stripped down single cab & wagon with very basic styling and functions. Even a 4x4 version with a Prado gearbox/transfer case! I still see a few on the road 40 years later...
If they bring this to the USA with a bit bigger tires heat and ac and 4x4 I’ll buy one as soon as it hits the lot !!!!! Perfect hunting truck !!!! I want one as plain as simple as possible . I’m tied of trucks in the us being 40 grand plus and you can’t find a plain truck without all kinds of electronic bull crap . And good like finding a manual transmission too !!!!! Pisses me off !!!

My grandpa still has his 70s VW truck, which had the same system where you can fold the side panels and make it flat
baby steps are the hardest bring the hilux to the US
Absolutely should Toyota bring this to Australia 😊
bring the good shit to US too!!! tired of paying $65K for a dam truck
Can't wait until this comes to the US shores. We need a cheap mini truck. they don't exit in the US.
We need them in the USA too!!
This hilux will maybe replace the Philippines iconic jeepny's
I don’t think anything can top those 😅
Bring this to the US!
its actually Toyota Tamaraw FX new Line up for almost 2 decades. Its like the import version of Tamaraw FX which originated and manufactured in the Philippines. I hope someday my family could avail it because its older version was very Iconic♥
Toyota must bring this in South Africa and Australia it’s perfect 🔥🔥🔥 it’s everything you need for work .
Carsauce love you videos Bro’s from South Africa 🔥🔥
Totally agree, seeing our delivery guys, plumbers, electricians and similar going crazy of this🇿🇦
We seriously need this in the US. As someone who’s looking for an affordable truck that I can install a camper on, i NEED this.
I love the simplicity and durability !!!!!
Just got back from Phuket Thailand I seen them everywhere . They are amazing even seen one with beefed up suspension and it was killer
Toyota needs to bring it to the USA also and make it US road legal. here in the US we need 4 WD or at least all wheel drive as the snows get deep at times and prefer cloth seats and a extended cab for the gear.
They should just sell every version of it here
Hey Ssstrallia, hilux champ just arrived here in Feejee(Fiji)
In the PH jeepney modernization process, i think this will fit the market especially because FILIPINOS are creative in redesigning it for mass transport like the old jeep into a jitney.
By the time an Australian importer and the gov got involved this car would be $35000 . 🙄
I can't wait to see these on the roads in Thailand.
You’re absolutely right we need this vehicle in Europe as well. Even Europe doesn’t get that.
I live in the Philippines and we will be getting that but it will be known as the Toyota "Tamaraw" a successor to the old tamaraw back in the 70's
This HiLux Champ needed to be in Australia. The potential is so huge. Guarantee to be top seller
Need this in the US.
I really hope the Hilux Champ comes to America! It is the coolest little truck since... trucks were actually little. I love it in all it's forms!
I love this champ! I'm not a tradie or a blue collar bloke , but I'd buy one if these champs just because I want it! Please release in Australia!
We need the champ in Australia. I own a povo pack hilux workmate petrol auto love it.
make it double cab will make it good
Bring this thing to the USA already!!! I know plenty small businesses including my self that would love this truck an would be a perfect fit .
Absolutely need this in America, our trucks are so expensive.
I love the design of the different Toyota Ute's from countries like Australia and Saudi Arabia. I don't want a big truck for all kinds of expensive reasons. Typically the practical smaller trucks aren't sold in the United States. Bummer. 🙄
yes, i want/need one. Cheap, simple, able to work!
Bring it to Australia!
I am in Australia and i will buy one for work and one for pleasure! Please Toyota bring it here.
Most farmers need this here in Southern Africa (NAMIBIA).....(Champ 2.4 Turbodiesel 4x4). It's like a mini LC79 bakkie..
Seriously this will be a huge hit
We need it in the US, the overpriced bloat mobiles they are trying to see us now make me nauseous to look at….
In Australia can get single cab BT-50 or Triton, its not so bad they are similar
I'd love to see a side by side comparison to the famous original Hilux- But yes you need this in Austrailia and we want need it in the US too👍👍
I think this would be a great addition to Toyotas fleet in Aus. It would be perfect for couriers, tradies and farmers who want a basic Ute that doesn’t cost a fortune.
OH, what a Feeling.
Bring it to Australia. I am going to the dealership to order 5 , 1 for me and 4 for my boys.
YES! Bring this to the US! American trucks are absurdly expensive today and something like this would clean house.
Yes I am here watching this because I want it in Australia to. (Have you seen the ford F650? What a colossus).
Definitly need this in Canada
correction - it's not exactly 'legos for adult' situation, you have to modify it like any other pickup, but Toyota at least move stuff around a bit to make it easier to modify, and also offer official financing with the mods
the thing is, Thailand is known for modding their truck, often you will see a D-Max with 3m metal fence(yes, I say it right, the fence alone is 3m) and/or carry 6-7 tonnes of stuff, some of them do that while being lowered like drag racing truck and still doing 100mph
This needs to come to United States as well.
