- Segment 2 of episode 1, More Than Meets The Eye Part 1 "The Director's Cut" with previously cut content and/or deleted scenes added back in. Lot's of new scenes in this one!
The good folks over at the "Transformers At The Moon" TH-cam channel have made an incredible discovery of never before released audio from the original G1 cartoon. Jamar has paired the new dialogue with re-cut scenes to make extended editions of the original episodes! We will be uploading the extended episode segments here every 2 weeks for as long as TATM continue digging up new material! It's like season 1 is new all over again!

Thanks for making this! I had always wondered why the Autobots foolishly piloted their ship directly into an asteroid field, now I know they didn't. LOL Cool
Seeing Skywarp help to revive Megatron shows where Cyclonus would get his loyalty to Galvatron and the Decepticons from as Unicron reshaped Skywarp's body into Cyclonus in the movie.

* Additional dialogue between Optimus Prime, Prowl, and Jazz regarding Cybertron's lack of energy
* Prowl orders Gears to give him a countdown to the Ark's launch
* Megatron telling Starscream he is destined to be a follower
* A whole sequence showing Trailbreaker utilizing Teletraan-1 and the optical scanner to find resources, Ironhide and Mirage lamenting being part of the mission, the Autobots catching wind of the Decepticons, and Megatron explaining to Starscream why they don't just take the easy option and destroy the Ark
* Additional dialogue between Optimus and Prowl prior to the asteroids colliding
* Yelling amongst the Autobots and Decepticons during the brawl (reinstated in Japanese dub)

Alright, I give in why do what I'm assuming are the deleted scenes sound like they're being made in a tunnel off the freeway?
im not a pro and have never done this before i just used a regular pc and photoshop video editor. and so i used the slug session taping, directly the professional big companies with their experts can take that tunnel noise out but i have no idea how to do it
Megatron says revive the rest of decepticons I would've added except starscream.
As annoying as Starscream was, Megatron needed his skills as an air commander and as a warrior to further his plans.
I still recommend buying the Shout! Factory DVDs and using their soundtrack for these.
Just a minor nickpick, everything else is amazing!
Are the Transformers in the Milky Way galaxy like us ?.
Nicely done though it's a shame you didn't splice in footage when the Decepticons boarded the Ark and Prime is speaking with Megatrons voice.

We were aiming for Nov 10th but that's been side tracked by a technical problem. Should have the next episode up by the 10th of December barring any other major issues.

This is my all time favorite cartoon and after 33 years it's funny to see those new scenes. I think I prefer it the way it was originally broadcast.

hey about doing reedit and fix the return of Optimus prime story arc since the hate virus arc story sucks and rush production and my suggestion use clips for the story arc

in the Alternate story arc Primacron contacted via Quintessons to retrieve Optimus prime body by using the time window at the same time Rodimus prime contacted sky lynk to investigate energy emission and Galvatron plans to destroy the Autobots forever....
note optimus prime vs Rodimus prime rematch sorta makes no sense and it bothers me the most would rodimus prime be immune to the virus since he has the matrix and he wouldn't be infected at all and in the rebirth series part 1 there was no mention of the hate virus and several autobots were talking how they defeated the decepitcons after Optimus prime came back to life....
Yeah I really wish they had not rushed the Return of Optimus Prime episodes..even if he had been in the same condition we saw him in at the end of Dark Awakening and then had the Quintison repair him it would have been a little better but the whole storyline and animation was a bit shit overall..theycould have had some rouge Quentison who wasn't all bad (surely there must have been one?? ) beam him out of his ship at the last second & then maybe had him bring him to Vector Sigma to be revived or something..anything would have been better than how they did it..
Yeah, there were a few plot holes and such but we aren't going to be changing any existing episodes, only adding new ones. I think a lot of people would be upset if we start trying to change the existing episodes.
maybe do a alternate version of return of optimus prime storyline 2 part and Tom K also has a point

Tom K The animation wasn't that bad, in comparison to lot of the other episodes in Season 3. I thought that the animation was a slight improvement considering it was animated by Toei, instead of AKOM.
