- As Starscream's plan unfolds, The Autobots work hard to get Optimus Prime back on his wheels!
"Transformers Unofficial" is an independently made continuation of the original "The Transformers" cartoon series made by Sunbow, picking up right where the last episode "The Rebirth, Part 3" left off. This mini series was created to demonstrate to Hasbro that a small independent film studio can produce a product of comparable quality to the original on a limited budget. It is our hope that we can generate enough interest in the project that Hasbro will consider an official online web series continuation of the G1 cartoon.

The Transformers characters, names, and likenesses are property and copyright of Takara Tomy/Hasbro and are used herein under the fair use principal as a derivative work. Please support the offical product.
This transformative remix work constitutes a fair-use of any copyrighted material as provided for in section 107 of the US copyright law. Each of the 4 points of section 107 are addressed individually below with our comments following the *asteriks:
(1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes; *The purpose of this video series is to demonstrate to the copyright holder, Hasbro, that A) There is a sizable market for a continuation of their original cartoon series and B) Modern technology has advanced over the past 30 years to the point that a small group of independent film makers are able to produce a work of comparable quality to that of the original work on an extremely small budget. The use of this video series is not commercial in nature, it is hosted on a non-monetized TH-cam account and the creators do not profit from the material in any way. The purpose of posting the videos online publicly is to generate enough views and interest that the copyright holder will take notice and respond to fans wishes of continuing the original series. Secondly, since no official continuation of the original work exists, publicly posting this unofficial continuation benefits the members of the public who wish to see the storyline continued.
(2) the nature of the copyrighted work; *The original work is an animated series of light hearted stories aimed at children which were for the most part, individual stories independent from one another. Our work meets the definition of "transformative" or "derivative" as this series seeks to present an overarching storyline throughout the entire series with harsher tones aimed at an adult audience.
(3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; *Like any remix, the original work is heavily featured however, it is used in a transformative nature as described in point 2. In addition, all storylines and dialogue are new and independant of the original work. A comparative ratio of new to original material would be difficult to gauge but in general, all visuals, sound effects and music are from the original work while all dialogue and storytelling angles are new material.
(4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work; *This series is being distributed solely for fans of the original "The Transformers" series which has not produced a new episode since 1987. It is not related to, nor meant to draw attention away from any current Transformers broadcasts by Hasbro. We ask that viewers watch all official Transformers media before watching this series. It would in fact, only make sense to a reasonable person to view the original work prior to this series since it follows the original work's fiction chronologically. It is also possible that this series may in fact create increased interest in Hasbro's "Generations" Transformers toyline which is related to the original Transformers series which this work is based upon since the original toyline saw a significant boost in sales due to it's supporting work of fiction at the time. Finally, given the use of the word "Unofficial" in the title and highly visible disclaimers before, after and in the video description of each episode stating that this work is in no way related to Hasbro, any reasonable person should be able to differentiate this from an official Hasbro product. BIG TIME thanks to Steve Parkes AKA StevieP83 for stepping up and absolutely KILLING IT as Galvatron in this episode! As you may know, our regular Galvatron voice actor was inundated with school, among other things and just didn't have time to record his lines for the previous episode so we resorted to using a lousy AI in his place. Said AI was a total PAIN to program so having Stevie not only step up and fill the role on short notice but nail the Welker style Galvatron voice has been a HUGE help and is one of the main reasons this episode was finished on time. Stevie also plays Starscream and does it so well that some people mistakenly thought THAT was an AI voice in the last episode. Also want to extend a thanks to our Spike actor and my fellow canuck, Matt "Lord Chumley" Hubert for helping out with the visual FX in this episode. He made the background in the scene where Spike bonds with Optimus match the rest of the scene as the original clip had a night time background. You have to shop around to Hasbro that you can do this. You need to be Starscream in an official cartoon series and a big screen movie.

I understand why I didn't get the part of Galvatron because you found another actor the day before I submitted my audition, but I'm still glad that I got the opportunity to participate. Whoever the voice actor for Galvatron is, I hope they keep up the good work. As for me, I'd be happy to fill the role of other characters if needed.

Steve Parkes is absolutely fabulous in his characters!!!, the best sounding cover voice's i have ever heard!!! Ok, today I thought Starscream was an AI! :O Steve sounds exactly like Chris Latta as Screamer! Congrats for doing awesome job. It was also nice to see Decepticons Pretenders in action, US "G1" style. Wish it was bit longer, but still - great episode. :)
I love it! I always also had the idea of Spike being Optimus' powermaster (better than HiQ!) and another idea was to make Dr Archiville transform into a powermaster to a larger new body like Overlord, for him to take revenge on Megatron and Starscream. And then the autobots and decepticons worked together to stop Overlord (Dr Archiville).

This was a such a good episode, im so happy to finally seeing powermaster optimus prime especially since Optimus was never upgraded in the american show while in the japanese anime supergod masterforce optimus wasn't in it only his body which was used by ginrai. I am especially surprised by the voices of starscream, Shockwave, and galvatron and especially that it was all done by 1 person especially since galvatron in the last episode was voiced by ai, the voices sound so close that I couldn't tell the difference. This was so worth the wait, and I can't wait for the next episodes to come.
I would have ditched my love for G1 if it wasn't for these guys! Thanks!!

I'm already in withdrawal being out of new episodes .. this is so, so fantastic! It's truly what the G1 continuity should've been like after the short attempt at Season 4. The plot lines are brilliant, the voice acting is getting better by the episode, and it feels like I'm 12 years old again. Thank you!

I am not easily impressed and I find a lot of fan stuff to be a bit cringey. But you guys did an astonishingly good job!!! I actually got chills while I was watching it. The sheer amount of labor in capturing all the sound, music, pacing, and feel of the old show was just awe inspiring. This is leagues better than anything Netflix or Hollywood has put out! All of the voice actors should be proud of their performances. I was just so blown away by how they captured the characters and nothing pulled me out of the episode! You guys helped fulfill a childhood dream of actually seeing and hearing Powermaster Optimus Prime in an actual episode so thank you so much!!!
I think my only critique would be cutting to Spike while he's combined with Optimus since in some scenes he's in his exosuit and other scenes he's not. I think it would just be better to have him talking and we just understand implicitly he's connected.
That aside, I have to wonder what happens to Fortress Maximus now that Spike is a powermaster. By the way, brilliant idea with the body swap by using footage of Ginrai in his exosuit as Spike.
I am absolutely hyped for the next episode.
If you watch carefully, you'll notice that Spike is in exosuit when driving Optimus in vehicle form and before combination at the beginning. And he's kinda "piloting" inside the "cockpit" during the Powermaster OP Robot Mode, just like the Nebulons would be "piloting" the Autobot Headmasters in the Rebirth p.2 and 3. Nice touch!

Great chapter, wish we could have seen a bit more of the Decepticons attacking all corners of the planet (the footage exists for that, but maybe we'll see it unfold next time) and weird Optimus travelled with the other Autobots but they all vanish when we next see him, my no-prize is that they all split up to tackle the distress signals individually. Anyway, those were my only nitpicks, I love Starscream throughout this one, especially the comedy with scrambling communications.

Too bad Thunderwing never appeared in animation. As a kid I imagined there are episodes of "G1" in which he appears. He would made a great next-level threat to the Autobots.

While Optimus prime under repairs due to overlords attack the autobots are streatch thin while decepticons attack cities but helps on the way.

Optimus received his new battle armor meanwhile on charr starscream new weapon sent to earth and prepare to meet up with overlord but an unknown figure close in Hot pursuit,on earth teletran one detected overlord heading to the moon and Optimus preparing to have another rematch with overlord and yet an unknown figures are also heading to the moon.
Hasbro: we can't make new episodes of the original series. It's too expensive and the technology doesn't exist anymore

Also, talk about coincidences 😱🤩-- back in April 2022 a crazy idea came to my head about upgrading my now old MP-10 Masterpiece Optimus Prime and Spike toy with custom 3D printed trailer parts, so that the MP-10 Prime would become a Powermaster OP -- and I specifically wanted to make it with a "cockpit" for Spike to pilot him like Nebulons did in Rebirth (rather than have Spike weirdly transform into an external rectangle attachment).
Now, it's 2024 and I've been meticulously designing the 3D printed parts and still not finished with it. But here in this show I see just how cool a similar idea would be, how natural it would feel for humans to co-pilot transformers in their big robot modes. Just like in Rebirth or Transformers Masterforce.

What I've seen so far is how different the animation style of Masterforce and the original seasons are. Not that its bad but you can tell how much the technology has changed from Season 1 till Masterforce. Magami Ban's artstyle really does look like if the Movie evolved from that point to a different tune.

New theory about the ending:
Starscream's creation goes out of control, and Galvatron, needing an immediate solution, agrees to Starscream's plan to upload his mind into the creation to stop him. It works, but Galvatron realizes too late that he's been outplayed by Starscream, who declares himself the new Decepticon leader, Overlord.
The party is then crashed by Zarak and his faction, and many of Galvatron and Zarak's Decepticons opt to join Overlord because of how incompetent both Galvatron and Zarak are. Galvatron is buried in an iceberg by Overlord, while Zarak flees with what remaining loyalists he has, vowing to return. Optimus Prime and Overlord send most of the Autobots and Decepticons into deep space to pursue Zarak, while the leaders remain on Earth, opting to replenish their Earth-based ranks by recruiting locally.
Does that mean we won't be seeing Fortress Maximus in this series 😢
Not necessarily. My hunch is that some of the Grand Maximus scenes from Super-God Masterforce will be repurposed to represent Fortress Maximus, with BlackZarak animation used for Scorponok, and with Cerebros living on Nebulos in peace, Grand (who's both a Headmaster and a Pretender) will be FM's new partner. 🙂

I am going to share a simple hard truth here: It is not people's own fault if they are not able to do something others are able to do. But it is a people's own fault if they refuse to live in their own country.
But this episode is nonsense!! Starscream is dead Ironhide and ratchet too and its just a remix of previous footage
While I agree about Wheeljack and Ratchet and Iron Hide, Starscream came back because of the Head of Unicron. I think the episode is called Starscreams Ghost
@@alexherrera332 Ghost in the machine, but in the end starscream is suposed to be destroyed by galvatron, cyclonus and the sweeps. Never appeared again in season 3,4 or headmasters
You should watch from episode 1.of this fanmade continuity.... And if you have any complain... You should not watch.... Just give some credits to the writers, montage and voice actors. Do you know how hard it is to do this kind of work?
