Agree about the price. I think they should lower the price at this point and just retire the T300. Let the T-GT II be their belt driven option at a more affordable price.

Had my TGT2 for 3 weeks (upgraded from an overheating T300) was actually shocked how good it is. From the way the car feels to the transducer. Coupled it with the SF1000 and it’s excellent. Might be coincidence but I was hovering around high D to low C rating in GT7, now high C just near B rating. Not sure how much of that is down to the base (if any) but I’ll take it :)

The only thing I don't like about console ffb is the weight you feel, feels more like dead weight. On pc you feel the ffb pushing back not just the weight when turning you feel the forces on console you feel the eeight so it feels nice and heavy when turning but it feels like a dampened weight. Hard to explain. But great review man!
I'm using the dd+ I have plenty of detail in most games it's just talking about pc vs consoles. Believe me I have plenty of details still its just a big difference between the two.

Coming from a t300 the tgt2 is very good. However after 4 months I am not so sure. I too have noise and rattle issues. Fixed it myself. The fan is way too loud. And to me it seems that with same track conditions the wheel sometimes acts different. Can’t explain it. Maybe it’s me. However in the end I would not buy this again especially for the price. I used to play GT7 with the T-GT but I only play ACC on PC now with the same wheelbase. My friend has a Fanatec DD 8Nm and we can't field the difference between the wheels. T-GT is very underrated but too expensive compared to other wheelbases on the marked. You can easily change the fan to a better one that makes much less noise.

I got the TM open wheel on ebay for £50 I use it on my t300, I modded the t300 fan for a Noctura, much quieter. I managed to get the T-lcm and a TH-8a for £140 for both.
I mainly got it all for GT-7, but the massively got in to iRacing and didn't want to go for the fanatic granturismo DD pro for £700 then another £140 for load cell. The whole setup with a next level racing GT lite cost under £500. thats to people buying sim gear in the pandemic then wanting to sell it.
As much I love iRacing the safety rating thing is really annoying me now, I had 3 races in a row that I got knocked if track and watched my I rating and SR fall for a mistake some one else made. So ive gone back to GT7 and finding it fun

I love my G923 wheel, but not as happy with the pedals. But for a total package price of $350, and with PSVR2, I am a happy camper. However after watching your video I was inspired to see if logitech has a load cell pedal., and lo and behold they do for also $349 and I can even get it at Best Buy. There is. A video I watched from logitech on how you can adjust each pedal (simple) and even remove the clutch if you don’t use it. The True force on my G923 (which is the newer version of what you previously had) the button layout is terrific for use with the PSVR2, so intuitive if I need to scroll through lap times and radar. So I think I will get the load cell pedals after reading so many reviews and possibly the Gpro wheel. Which they offfer a 5% discount if you get both at same time. That wheel is $999😮. Decisions………… like my wheel add pedals for now. Thanks Cas. But really before you do anything watch their pedal video on adjusting. Also the pedals only work with a logitech wheel I heard ;(

Also in a video I watched on how to do your set up it did say that if you can afford load cell it is better. The set up you suggest is good, but I have another reason. I want to remove the clutch I never use (only race manual paddle shift) and second I race in my socks cuz with shoes my feet are too big. With the load cell I can adjust distance and then wear a racing shoe so as to feel the pedals better and my feet wont get as tired. Hope that makes sense.
