1000hz on g7se still feels better than 500hz on xbox but on the Kaleid I don't feel difference but I feel the face buttons on Kaleid are more mouse clicky and noticed they don't go all the way in like on g7se so could be more responsive too.

I have tried the Kaleid, I notice it from 250 to 1000 but 500 and 1000 seem the same to me. but only used it for day. I play MLB the show so notice it the most with how fast I can swing back pressing A. That's why I feel face buttons could be move with Kaleid however I feel G7 SE is faster after a year of usage. Biggest thing for me is after a year, my g7 se still only 0.4% error on gamepad tester. No other controller compares. How about Thrustmaster ESwap x2? I heard its more responsive than g7 however when I bought it I didn't feel it and didn't like paddle placement, so I returned it.

Hey bro, so series2 IMO is the benchmark when it comes to sound quality. The only controllers that can sorta match it, are Rog Raikiri,EswapX and stealth Ultra. For whatever reason, third party controllers, specially cheaper ones just don’t have that full audio experience as the elite series 2 and Kaleid is the same. I played a couple of games with Epos H6 open back and had to change the headset to Nova 1x as Kaleid wasn’t able to give a decent volume on epos. Even on the Nova 1x I found it lacking in audio quality, which is my experience with many third party controllers. Also elite series 2 will give the best audio latency results, it’s something I’ve covered in a video already, and about to post another quick video of some audio latency results today or tomorrow, you’ll see in the video what I mean by audio latency on Xbox.
I just got the Kaleid 3 days ago. I only have an Xbox no pc. I play xdefient and apex. I use a wired headset plugged into the controller. Whenever I use my triggers to shoot my weapon the controller disconnects. Sounds like it’s a known issue and you need a pc to download an update. I reached out to gamesir to ask if they would push an update through the nexus app on Xbox to fix the problem. No clear answer yet. For now just playing with my g7se. Might ask for a replacement from Amazon to see if the issue is just with the controller I received.
Ah bro that’s a shame, this is exactly what I meant in the video, that we should have the best possible performance out of the box, not with all this tinkering needed. I’d highly recommend you get the update somehow and set it to 500hz, otherwise I think there are better options, like the standard G7. I honestly believe the HE sticks with the algorithm Gamesir have used, need the higher polling rates, as all the other Xbox HE sticks I’ve tried have a lower resolution, which I think is how they get a bit more responsive feel.

I've been playing Xdefiant with standard Xbox One controller with sort of trigger stops but I've now modified it and have clicky hair triggers- I'll be playing with both controllers tonight so let's see
Havent got my kaleid yet..soon hopefully but i havent updated my gamesir app on xbox so i can still navigate the polling rates 250 - 1000 ive always run both my g7 and g7se at 500 as i found that it was more stable for most games i play on console plus i got uber paranoid when the updates were locking out polling rate changes on xbox and you had to go to pc to change...i juss refused to and so far no issues with switching between rates 😂 so hopefully when my kaleid arrives ill see what takes place on console (🤞fingers crossed)
Hey bro I keep mine at 5 min and 85 max with hair triggers on. This makes it I never un ads intentionally and never stop firing unless I mean to, also quick tapping single fire pistols and weapons work great for me. This is going to be unit dependent as your triggers might have a bit more or less dead spot at the beginning of the travel.
Hey bro if you can go without trigger stops then Kaleid definitely makes more sense. Personally I’m not using any controller on a daily that has even a minor minimum deadzone that can’t be disabled, so for me Snakebyte just doesn’t see much gametime anymore. I still have to try that one in Xdefiant and that 3% deadzone of the Snakebyte might not be an issue. But for COD I’d say a controller with no minimum deadzone is a must, as I’ve shown a nasty bug on MW3 where minimum deadzones gets forced to standard 10%, so there’s a double deadzone effect then.
Bro if audio os not needed from the jack, then G7se definitely makes sense for the 1000hz on Xbox. My concern is if Microsoft figures out a way to disable that system side without the controller needing an update, at that point I don’t think G7se is a good option if stuck at 250hz.

@@jj09876 hey so if we set it to 1000hz it seems to it function like a licensed Xbox controller. Also in all my tests 1000hz didn’t show improved performance. 500hz still keeps the license which can be tested on pc, as it’s still recognised in the Xbox accessories app, and it also show’s improvement in performance on Xbox. To set up the 1000 and 500hz we do need to connect it to pc, as Xbox nexus no longer have that option.
@@jj09876 hey bro so I just updated it to 1.49 which is the new version, and still 1000hz restarts the controller and it’s not shown in the accessories app. I do believe the 1000hz loses the license as when Gamesir announced 1000hz leaving Xbox app, they mentioned something along the lines of having true 1000hz for pc in an upcoming firmware. So this seems like a compromise made with Microsoft to keep the license and have true 1000hz for pc and Xbox takes advantage of 500hz.

For pc bro, I think the Kaleid makes more sense as it’ll do a proper 1000hz without any issues. Unless you need the ergonomics of the G7se and ok with 500hz performance. One thing I’ll say is to check if HE will be the right choice o yourselves, as they are a bit different feeling than normal potentiometer sticks, and I honestly believe they need a higher polling rate to perform their best. I’d take the elite series 2 with its issues over G7se in 250hz, it wasn’t until the 1000hz update where I made the G7se my main controller, but that’s on Xbox.

You’ll need either a different audio solution like wireless or use another controller like the standard one plugged in as well, which should play audio whilst you use the G7se. The report rate has to be set on pc using the nexus app.

hey i need help i tried to do the steps on the website to get 1000hz polling through the t4k app method but it didnt work when i held the buttons and connected my controller and relaeased the lights wouldnt turn on and on the wesbite it says i must have firmware version 1.46 but did they mean 1.36 because thats the firmware my kaleid shiiped with and it sasys my firmaware is up to date in the game sire nexus software. Hey bro so I did the T4k method myself before even checking nexus, so definitely had the out of box firmware on my Kaleid and was able to update. I have since also tried the second custom method and again was able to install the firmware. T4k app I believe made the firmware 1.49 and custom install is 1.46. The custom intall did revert my nexus to a prior firmware than what it was on my laptop. Have you tried the second method yet?

Downloaded the T4k app from Microsoft store and ran the app, held the xbox button and menu button with three lines in, plugged the usb in the controller whilst holding the buttons in and the app showed update in progress instantly, at this point I let the buttons go and it was done in probably 20 seconds. The app version of T4k is 0.3.3
@@thephototechy still not working for me ivs tried multiple times on different computers and after i plug it in whilst holding the app never changes to updating and the contoller remains powered off until i un plug and replug it again iwhtout holding buttons i tied second method but the zipped certificate is being flagged with a virus and i cant even allow it past windows defender because it auto deletes it
Recently, I purchased the new Kaleid controller, and I noticed some audio issues. The output volume is significantly too high compared to the standard controller, and the audio captured by the microphone is very low and sounds bad. I asked around, and I am not the only one with this problem. Currently, I have version v1.49 connected to the Xbox. I also have a G7 SE that does not have this problem. Have you encountered this audio issue? Also, I would like to know how you managed to change the polling rate on the Xbox. I downloaded the firmware to get 1000Hz on PC (not to get the 1000Hz itself but to resolve the problem of the controller turning off every 5 minutes). Since I play on Xbox and cannot use the 1000Hz, I imagine I have 500Hz or 250Hz, but I don't understand which of the two options I have.
Hey bro, so I played a few games with a headset connected and honestly the sound isn’t great for me. Mic is something I haven’t yet tried but will check and report back. My experience with cheaper third party controllers is not great when it comes to audio, so personally I use the Astro mixamp pro tr.
Same issue i had with the audio when i tried my kaleid for the first time on my xbox series x..it was so loud compared to to my regular xbox controller and in the middle of my game i lost my coms and even the audio sounds broken like sometimes only the left side has a sound

Not sure bro, I’ve never tried the pc version. There are 2 methods of enabling 1000hz as per Gamesir and I’ve tried both and the firmware number is 1.46-1.47 from them
Not for me bro, if no 1000hz on G7se, I’d use the Eswap or Gambit. Now that we have Kaleid with 500, so if the 1000 goes away on G7se then I’d probably make Kaleid my go to.
Why bro so far we still have the 1000hz on Xbox with G7se. I do have a feeling that the next firmware update will remove it. Personally I’m not going to update mine, but if that happens, at least we have the Kaleid with similar enough performance now.
@@LanLey-jo4fs in all my tests G7se in 1000hz on seriesx has performed the quickest. I do have a feeling the standard G7 would beat it in 1000hz, it’s still something I have to test. Now all my tests have been stick response and not the buttons response.

Hey bro, so I much prefer 1000hz and man I do love Xdefiant as well, currently only playing that game. G7se in 1000hz performs absolutely amazingly, but there is no audio from the jack even on 500hz, so for audio the G7se has to be set to 250hz, which is the issue. You can have your standard controller connected and get the audio from that whilst using G7se, or another audio solution like Astro mixamp, gamedac gen2 or a wireless headset.

Man i love the hz for my G7SE even on 500hz the aiming just isnt there. Linear its a little better but its still not linear feel while controlling recoil. Very sad tbh. Gotta get a pc at this point.
Hey bro, elite series2 is 125hz and yes Kaleid will feel better than elite 2. But I have a video for planned comparing the elite with some other controllers, as in my pc tests, elite only came 1 frame behind the 1000 results of Kaleid. So if the difference is that minimal and we do have other benefits of 4 back pedals, amazing audio and some extra features, it could be that elite would be a better choice for some. Personally I wouldn’t buy another elite as I’ve experienced some issues on my unit, but so many seems to have great performance from elite series2 as well.
Honestly, this elite is my second after just 2 Weeks, it has the same problem again which is stickdrift, and has the same problem that you have described in your video comparing with the turtle beach stealth ultra

@@spidermonkeychase9920 hey the T4k app can be downloaded through the Microsoft store, that shouldn’t have any issues with windows firewall. Using the T4k means you don’t have to do the other custom method.

For games like cod, do you use hair triggers? If so, what are your trigger range. I can't seem to find a sweet spot.

I got 2 kaleids and both have tracking issues. My g7se tracks better.
Its just strange and off putting to me that these issues continue to happen.

Recently, I purchased the new Kaleid controller, and I noticed some audio issues. The output volume is significantly too high compared to the standard controller, and the audio captured by the microphone is very low and sounds bad. I asked around, and I am not the only one with this problem. Currently, I have version v1.49 connected to the Xbox. I also have a G7 SE that does not have this problem. Have you encountered this audio issue?
Also, I would like to know how you managed to change the polling rate on the Xbox. I downloaded the firmware to get 1000Hz on PC (not to get the 1000Hz itself but to resolve the problem of the controller turning off every 5 minutes). Since I play on Xbox and cannot use the 1000Hz, I imagine I have 500Hz or 250Hz, but I don't understand which of the two options I have.
Hey bro, so I played a few games with a headset connected and honestly the sound isn’t great for me. Mic is something I haven’t yet tried but will check and report back. My experience with cheaper third party controllers is not great when it comes to audio, so personally I use the Astro mixamp pro tr.
Same issue i had with the audio when i tried my kaleid for the first time on my xbox series x..it was so loud compared to to my regular xbox controller and in the middle of my game i lost my coms and even the audio sounds broken like sometimes only the left side has a sound
G7 SE is just a beast on Xbox playing Valorant, it’s so snappy.

Not sure bro, I’ve never tried the pc version. There are 2 methods of enabling 1000hz as per Gamesir and I’ve tried both and the firmware number is 1.46-1.47 from them

Not for me bro, if no 1000hz on G7se, I’d use the Eswap or Gambit. Now that we have Kaleid with 500, so if the 1000 goes away on G7se then I’d probably make Kaleid my go to.

Why bro so far we still have the 1000hz on Xbox with G7se. I do have a feeling that the next firmware update will remove it. Personally I’m not going to update mine, but if that happens, at least we have the Kaleid with similar enough performance now.

@@LanLey-jo4fs in all my tests G7se in 1000hz on seriesx has performed the quickest. I do have a feeling the standard G7 would beat it in 1000hz, it’s still something I have to test. Now all my tests have been stick response and not the buttons response.
I’m on Xbox and play Xdefiant Is there a difference between 500 hz and 1000 se on the gamesir 7 se I just bought it. Also does the headset jack work at both levels.
Hey bro, so I much prefer 1000hz and man I do love Xdefiant as well, currently only playing that game. G7se in 1000hz performs absolutely amazingly, but there is no audio from the jack even on 500hz, so for audio the G7se has to be set to 250hz, which is the issue. You can have your standard controller connected and get the audio from that whilst using G7se, or another audio solution like Astro mixamp, gamedac gen2 or a wireless headset.

Man i love the hz for my G7SE even on 500hz the aiming just isnt there. Linear its a little better but its still not linear feel while controlling recoil. Very sad tbh. Gotta get a pc at this point.

Definitely 1000hz for G7 and G7se. The new Kaleid doesn’t do 1000 on Xbox and will improve only in 500hz

Hey bro, elite series2 is 125hz and yes Kaleid will feel better than elite 2. But I have a video for planned comparing the elite with some other controllers, as in my pc tests, elite only came 1 frame behind the 1000 results of Kaleid. So if the difference is that minimal and we do have other benefits of 4 back pedals, amazing audio and some extra features, it could be that elite would be a better choice for some. Personally I wouldn’t buy another elite as I’ve experienced some issues on my unit, but so many seems to have great performance from elite series2 as well.
Honestly, this elite is my second after just 2 Weeks, it has the same problem again which is stickdrift, and has the same problem that you have described in your video comparing with the turtle beach stealth ultra

@@spidermonkeychase9920 hey the T4k app can be downloaded through the Microsoft store, that shouldn’t have any issues with windows firewall. Using the T4k means you don’t have to do the other custom method.
