I'm looking forward to your victrix hall effect modules review. So far from my experience with two separate pairs, they seem to have issues reaching full circles on a circularity test. Because of this it causes instances where the sticks don't register fully even though the stick is physically tilted all the way. For example, in helldivers 2 the character will stop running in the affect areas even though the stick is tilted all the way. Very frustrating to say the least.
@@thephototechy Yep its there regardless if it's through pc or console calibration. I have contacted pdp support about the issue and they have yet to actually reply with helpfully information. It's been weeks at this point.
Looks like the Victrix hall effect sticks are available now from their website. Planning on reviewing those by chance? The price is kind of tough though, $40 USD for the sticks alone while something like the G7 SE is about $45 USD for the whole package. If you do decide to review those I'm super interested in learning about how they compare. For the price it would be for the entire package it's up there with the Stealth Ultra
hey, my powera xbox advantage controller has just stopped getting identified by the app as a powera controller and it just says Non PowerA controller, and my back buttons dont work. I think its because i accidentally backed out while the app was doing a software update. any idea on how to fix this?
So I have the new Kaleid coming I a few days. I just put my G7SE on 500Hz for xbox, no raw mode, sensitivity-9/9, deadzone-3/4, 46l100, trigger deadzone 2/2, Triggers via nexus app-1-3, hair triggers enabled, Dynamic-slope scale .89, Aim assist default. Low galaxy kontrolfreek on the left stick, black precision ring on the right with the tall Edge kontrolfreek on the right stick. It feels like aim bot.
Hey bro any chance you know the hours used on the controller? I know what you mean and I think all will get to that stage, but knowing the amount of time till that unplayable stage would be very useful.
Where can you buy these in the UK? Do you think PDP will actually release official versions? They've been saying that since last year, but theres been no updates that I've seen.
Hey so there is a calibration option on the Xbox app for Gambit and I believe it should work for Xbox BFG as well. This one shows the method I showed in app to calibrate it. There is also another method which requires the connection whilst holding a button and that can do triggers as well.
You got any recs for replacement sticks for the gamesir g7se? I’m looking for thicker taller ones that can also fit kontrol creeks if need be. Not sure which ones ones to get
I think so bro, but I haven’t tried the Xbox version myself. Judging by the Gambit’s same resolution per increment as PlayStation BFG, I think they’d be using the same on the Xbox variant as well
@@Luwra77 so there’s definitely a deadzone on the PlayStation version, it could be a bit smaller but without a deadzone you can’t have that perfect recentre snap every time, specially with such high resolution. Eswap uses very similar modules and truly allows to disable the deadzone, it shows exactly what a true 0 deadzone should be
Great video. I changed mine and they are great. However, it was kind of weird at first… the first try with just one calibration, it felt awful. In the app, I noticed the stick was not reaching the edge and there was a huge deadzone. Also the app wouldnt read the sticks. I rebooted the controller, kept messing with it. And Im not sure what changed but it read the sticks. So I changed the deadzone to max and then back down to nothing. Then calibrated the sticks and they would reach the edges like normal. Now it feels pretty good, snappy and way better than stock (by a lot). Im just not sure from all the messing around what was the thing that did a reset so I could recalibrate everything. I got the same ones but 80g.
@@dat1ytcomment262 it became my main PS5 controller. Lets see, games I have finished lately using it: Jedi Survivor/Ghost of T/Dragons Dogma2/Scars Above/quite a few others more.. Great Videos, I need your advice please, I have Dualsense Edge but I need a controller with 4 Back Buttons, I'm playing Apex Legends, Call of Duty & some other FPS games. Which one of this controllers you can recommend it to me to buy it now for PlayStation 5? - 1) Nacon REVOLUTION Pro 5 - 2) Victrix BFG Pro. But also I don't want to after 6 or 8 months to buy another one. Waiting for your response. Thanks. Wish you a good luck.
Hey so this’ll feel very different to G7se, but I’ve only tested it on PS5 and with higher latency this feel worse than G7se. The true comparison would be to use them side by side on a pc, but currently I can’t do that. So in short with my experience I’d pick the G7se over this for aiming, but it could be better than G7se on pc.
