Thank you. Im going back and forth torn between the 701 and the KTM 690. I'm a MX 2 smoker and my last bike was a panigale 959. These 701s are bad ass. Mods you mentioned seem Mando for sure after the proper break in. Learned a lot thank you boss man.

The shifting issue is helped with the Factory Pro shift kit. I have a lot less false nuetrals since installing it last week.

I love mine, definitely get Rottweiler power bundle once broken in and the power is so much better.
What all do you get in the bundle? Definitely gonna get the intake soon
@@TheonlyrealChester i got their intake, an exhaust, emissions delete, and power commander with their tune with power + ignition advance tune. It was around 1200$ i think.

Nice review! I've got the 2019 701 Enduro version and I'm trying to trade it in for the supermoto. I thought I'd be riding more dirt but the reality is I hardly leave the city. Even the Enduro is tons of fun on the streets and will grip real good with right tires, but I have slid the rear end accelerating out of a turn way too many times now and a supermoto, especially with a traction control like that, makes a lot of sense :D
Just out of curiosity.. Is it just me or your left handguard is ever so slightly higher than the right one? XD
Oh, and my 2019 701 doesn't have a quickshifter and I still get the same issues with neutral light not lighting up when in neutral and I also get tons of false neutrals no matter whether going up or down through gears. But this while I am sloppy at shifts riding spiritedly.
Nice! Yeah I bet it is! It's definitely a different animal when you go full supermoto, you won't regret it💪🏽 lol yes they are, you can adjust the levers on this bike without moving the hand guards too haha. Interesting! Well that's good to know it's not a quick shifter problem!

Thank you! In my opinion the husky just looked better. It also came with a better seat and a 24k mile warranty compared to 12k on the ktm

I want this bike so bad. I kinda blew it and bought a cush hub wheel and SM tires for the berg FE570 when that $ could've been a down payment on the 701 SM.
Aw haha, but that adds a lot of value to the 570, you could probably sell it and then have a down payment plus some cash for mods💪🏽

I bought my 2020 a couple weeks ago. Currently have about 400 miles on it. I’ve had the same issue a couple times with the neutral light. Before coming to a stop I put it in “neutral” the light comes on and it starts lugging and either almost stalls or stalls lol. Are you still having the issue?
Yup that's exactly what mine does haha, I'll definitely post a video about it if I can find a fix. As of now still does it a few times every ride

Yeah turn off the TC and have it in map 2 when doing wheelies. And you need to hold the TC Button for exactly 5 sec👍

You might want to keep a leery eye on the clutch slave cylinder, lol. I'm not sure about the +2017 models since they got a huge upgrade since then, but I'm planning to replace mine with an Oberon after 600 miles.

You should give riding tips
Might want to go ahead and swap to an Oberon Clutch Slave. Mine took a shit on me this weekend. Spent the weekend camping at the Tail of the Dragon and the slave crapped out 200 miles away from my house with 2077 miles on the odometer.
I knew the stock slave was a issue and I was actually gonna replace it before the trip but I bought a APX skid plate instead. That decision bit me in the ass lol. Anyways, trailered the bike home and the Oberon Slave cyl. should be here Thursday.
Husky has yet to fix this issue btw. Lesson learned.
Some people have had it fail in less than 100 miles but most seem to have it fail around 1500 miles.
Btw... I average about 55 mpg and I ride somewhat aggressively.

What's the maintenance on this thing? Valve checks and such?? Closest dealer is like 2hr away from me so could be a issue.
I will definitely keep everyone updated as I get into higher mileage, the first real service is at 6000 miles. That's a valve check and some other stuff
@@TheonlyrealChester cool sick bike man I've wanted one for years but I don't know how to work on motorcycle. I have a wr250r that if I need anything done a buddy works on it but I don't think he's familiar with ktm or husky because they're so rare on the east coast.

This is why i didn't pull the trigger on one yet. Husqvarna, as of this post, doesn't have a good dealer network where i live (New York, U.S.), like the Japanese brands do.

I think so, just because you'll be able to break in and everything, as well as get the quick shifter and electronics.
Had tons of false neutrals in the beginning. 2k miles in and can't say I have an issue anymore. 6th gear isn't comfortable unless you're doing 75 mph with stock gearing.
Ive noticed the false neutrals are happening less, definitely haha, I have the 15 front sprocket on the way

I have 6000 miles on my 2020 Enduro. I can't imagine I can be much faster on the asphalt in the corners. Bike rips and I slaughter 99% of bikes in the twisties, and the beating is bad.
