My exhaust arrived a few days ago direct from wings for $456 shipped. The quality is as good if not better than akra or remus for less than half the price.
As far as the tail light goes, I went with the bikelitez from amazon for about $65 shipped. It's the integrated signal led strip you were referring to. The quality leaves a bit to be desired but all you see when installed is the strip and it's super bright. You can't beat it for the price. Let me know if you'd like to see pics, and congrats/good luck with the channel.

I have been interested in this model motorcycle too. Here are a couple of ideas for you to think about for some more video ideas. On doing some research I found a person saying ''Put some clear Tape on the frame where the cables are in contact around the steering rack. Also there is a petrol filter which can come in contact with a sharp edge at the frame and the line may be punctured. Remove the seat and take a cable tie and pull it up a little bit.'' The fuel line issue would be a safety fix and the clear plastic on the frame, for a wear of the paint fix. It would be nice to see you address these two issues for all of us to see. Also for another video, people do recommend replacing the 16 tooth counter sprocket with a 15 tooth as the stock gearing is way too tall for some? You could do a run down the freeway in 6th gear and take us with you to see. Then if you do decide to put a 15 tooth on, you can let us ride along with you to give us your opinion? For the muffler, the Akrapovic muffler is made big for more volume which will increase the torque. It ha a removable Cat too.
@@ericjames7680 I appreciate all the info, I did see the cables were already starting to wear in the headlight so I'll definitely be doing that soon! I didn't know about the fuel line tho, I'll definitely take a look! Ill make a video doing those💪🏽 I haven't put too many miles on it yet but I think I'll most likely go to the 16, I need to see how it does on the highway how it is now.
@@TheonlyrealChester Thanks for the fast reply. On the gearing, some people say that with stock gearing and in 6th gear, you are almost lugging it going 85 MPH, but with a 15 tooth counter sprocket you can still cruise at freeway speeds and 6th gear is more useful. I have no idea myself but thought it would be worth mentioning it to you. I vote for the Akrapovic as it is a bolt on, no remap install.

I have a 2018 and did the Wings Exhaust and i love it. Comes with 2 separate inserts and sound great with both.

No i have not. It comes with 2 baffles 1 is for stock tuned bikes, the second is for tuned bikes. You can also run no baffle if tunes for a really loud bike. I haven't needed a tune the bike is plenty fast and tons of power!

Nice bike man,I got the 2019 and just finished doing some mods,blue pro taper contour handlebars,blue foot rests,gear lever,brake/clutch levers,black spoke skins and I got the carbon fibre swing arm protectors which make the bike look so much nicer and I think they would look great on yours!

@@TheonlyrealChester +1 up the Remus, I have one on my KTM 690 2020 so the same motor, without the DB killer I need to use earplugs but you get very smooth power with stock ECU and getting the Lamba sensor removal like 30$. For the Remus get a think is m8 nut the original exhaust mount thread is like 1 thread so easy to strip. And quick shifter all KTM gearbox is really shit first 1500miles. I have 3000miles and now its smooth :) but only works when you are in high revs pushing hard, quickshifter after 8000 rpm, Downshift the same, high RPM. Its not a real "quickshifter" it's the ECU cutting throttle for a split of a second and it's enough for the gear to engage without having force on the gears.

Well, i have 2 bikes, a 701 Husky and a 690 KTM. I use an Akrapovic full exhaust line on the 701 and an Arrow muffler only on the KTM.
The main problem with Akrapovic or Wings or other mufflers is the carbon edge, it is very fragile and soon or late the rivets will move away. What i like with the Arrow is that you can order an entire Titanium muffler which in a long run will not suffer any damages, Moreover the all Titanium is to my opinion the one that looks the best, as i said before it sounds great, i am very happy with it, less with the Akra because i lose the rivets one by one, apart from that the Akra is an excellent muffler don't get me wrong .... To answer your question completely, i do not like the shape of the Wings muffler, it does not look as good as the Arrow, that said it is probably a very good muffler but i don't know as i never used one.
To be precise, the Arrow muffler is aluminium and the rear end cap stainless steel

my mate has a wings exhaust on his 2020 690 and it sounds mint without the muffler.
I've heard good things about the wings, and it's a lot to cheaper, I think I'm leaning towards that one

@@Hempclown420 nahh unfortunately. Ended up getting a klx300sm to get comfortable riding something more powerful (never rode anything besides a 150 dirt bike before), now I have a 08 Ninja ZX6r to get used to riding street bikes. Still probably my dream bike at the moment tho

Be careful using zip ties to hold your plate on. Idk about Cali but a buddy of mine here in Florida got a huge ticket for having his plate mounted using zip ties.

The turn signals on the US version are incredibly hideous. I'm trying to figure it out why that is. Here in the EU we get these sleek LED's. Usually it's the other way around - the EU is more strict on what you can have on the bike.. Even the brake light is about half the size you have on yours. On the other hand - those cool all-in-one led custom lights you are talking about are big no-no over here...

Nice! Congrats on the new bike! Yeah that's interesting! The US ones are always awful, they're usually made to remove immediately haha. Sorry I wasn't sure if i was going to get a different set of decals for the forks so I haven't put them on yet! I'm going to attempt to wrap it soon and it'll be in that video! As far as 19 parts it's definitely different. I got a APX skid plate and it didn't fit very well. But I think things like mufflers you can swap. I guess you just have to order and see

Awesome Bike. Check out Vanasche Motorsports. Andrew has a 701 page on his website I've added almost everything on it to my 701. Wings Exhaust will be added soon. He has a nice tail tidy that's on Sale. I'll keep watching
