Kinda curious to know why you chose the 3/1 port as your first expansion over the 8/4 sheep brick
I probably should have gone for the 8/4, but my initial thinking (or hope) for this game was to get a quick city upgrade (or two) and then I'd be able to utilise the port with the increased production.
Seeing Boromir trade his wheat for a brick and ore was crushing. You needed to snag that trade in the previous turn. Black should have never been handed wheat. Set up too scary.
As I was watching I also disagreed with the first block. I know you wanted to steal the wheat, but blocking and stealing from black seemed important.
But man, the way the 7s and 8s hit. The Dice Gods were angry.
Fair point about the first block. It was pretty clear that Black was in the best position and so I should've been going after him right from the start.

Yeah the first block is really not good. There is a ton of sheep on the board already so blocking the sheep is very weak
