Story Summary :-
OP breaks up with her ex-bf and goes through a phase of depression and heartbreak, and only her BFF is with OP. A year later, Op finds out that her BFF Hazel is marrying Liam, when Op meets Hazel, Hazel tries to tell Op that she truly loves Liam and that’s why she is marrying him. But Op wants her to pay for this and destroy Hazel's happy moments by locking up the bride in her own wedding.
OP, being embarrassed and dragged out of her wedding, still tries to be in touch with her ex but one day had a conversation with her best friend. Soon, she becomes restless when her ex blocks her and stops her replying and shows up at Hazel’s house after a few days to mend their relationship. Hazel and Op talk but then Op sees Liam there who brings juice for her and Op again loses her control and calls him names for breaking up with her and marrying her BFF. She wreaks havoc at their place. Later when op reaches her place her boyfriends break up with her and not let her enter his place after knowing the stunt she tried to pull of to seduce her ex boyfriend. OP when reaches back home was served the
restraining order from Liam's side. Who had also warned her to stay away from his wife.

I have been in a somewhat similar situation, just like OP, but I didn'tgo batshit crazy like she did. My ex fiance left me for my best friend. It took me some time to realize I didn't lose everything in life. I actually regained my life by getting rid of the cancer that was making me sick. Guess who taught me that, my ex fiancées ex best friend. He made me realize that I was not defined by what my ex BF and BFF did to me, and it was but a bump in the road. Two years later, he and I married, and he has been my husband for nearly 30 years. While I didn't show up at their wedding at all, when I sent our wedding invitations out, I sent one to my ex BF and ex BFF along with a note and thanked them for leading me to the path of finding the love of my life. Of course, they didn't attend.
ETA: Forgot to mention, they divorced 2 years after marrying because she cheated on him.

I am 41 and have been with the same woman I started dating back when we were in the 8th grade. We have never separated and now out oldest is out of the house and married to his HS girlfriend. You are too overbearing, if you squeeze sand, you will let it all fall through your hand, hold loosely, and you can carry more. I wished everyone in love can be as happy and successful as we have been. Learn to laugh and be quicker to laugh than to anger. When times get tough, laughter lightens the tensions and help carry your through.

I started dating my husband when we were 18 & 19, and two decades later we’re still happy and in love. That being said, OP revolving her life around Liam is why I don’t encourage young people to focus on being so serious at such a young age. OP got so wrapped up in Liam that she smothered him and their relationship. She is also crazy as cat shit.

We seem to be missing another view of this, Liam. We can go with hearsay from both women, but what about Liam. Why didn't he put an end to the relationship with Gloria by putting his foot down stating it was over after High School. I kind of got the idea Gloria got obsessed with Liam because she decided to go to the same college and same courses with him. Who really does that, if Liam or Gloria met each other in college doing the same courses is one thing, but she decided to go with the absolute same as if to smother him. Again, Liam should have put his foot down harder stating the relationship with him is over.

Gloria went way too far, but BOTH Liam and Hazel betrayed Gloria. Gloria is grieving due to this betrayal and bargaining and anger are parts of grief.
However, under no circumstances should she have introduced Ashton, an unwitting third party, into this situation.
While the lead-up to rage and bargaining is beyond understandable, Gloria should have approached Liam well before the wedding to discuss this issue, and never should have engaged in acts of vandalism, home invasion, or physical violence.
I had a female friend like this in highschool. So i saw immeadiate red flags at just the opener. This woman is 5 shades of obsessed, possessive, and crazy. She never loved him . He was a pet.

Gloria is definitely psycho but I think things might have been different if Liam had broken off the relationship instead of Hazel convincing Gloria to do it. Gloria could've then realized that Hazel was not involved in the feelings of the relationship and that Liam was genuinely done with the relationship. I could be wrong but this is my opinion

Op was victimized on multiple levels. She victimized herself by obsessing over and making her ex the center of her world instead of prioritizing herself and her own happiness.
The Ex victimized her by not letting her go when he supposedly "fell out of love" instead dragging her along. Probably because she was comfortable and he wasnt ready to lose that comfort yet. Then by cheating on her with her supposedly best friend.
Hazel victimized her a few times. Cheating with her ex, marrying her ex and asking her to be a bridesmaid to rub her face in it. Then controlling the text messages to lead her along. Omg this is so similar to my own experience! My experience took place in college same as this story, I never showed up to the wedding though 😂 my ex bestie even text me one night out of the blue to ask how I feel knowing that she’s the one that ended up with him. Safe to say I told her congratulations and blocked her. Little does he know he tried for years to get in touch, he even showed up to my mom’s job, showed up to my school (years later after I was furthering my education). When I had my first child he harassed my friends for information about my life and whereabouts.

Like so much in life, there are three sides. Your side, the other side and the truth! In this case it is more of the other person's perspective that the truth lies. The ex-BF/husband did seem like a user who was unable to be mature enough to tell O.P. that the relationship was over. That they had fun, but it was over! Yes, she would have hurt but hopefully would have moved on rather than continue with the charade that she believed to be true! O.P. may have needed mental counselling to move on but it would have saved all a lot of hurt in the long run.
