    Story Summary :-
OP (35M) works at a marketing firm with his secret girlfriend Mirabel (27 F). She’s extremely competitive at first and admits to her coworkers that she intends to get promoted before them even though they all have seniority. This causes OP to dislike her, but they mostly develop a decent relationship as they work together more closely on a campaign together. When OP gets promoted instead of her, that all changes drastically. Mirabel starts becoming disruptive and insubordinate, no matter how hard OP tries to correct her behavior. She also starts to argue with their other coworkers again. OP thinks he can fix this by having her work with a colleague named Isaiah (33M), but this only causes Isaiah and Mirabel to begin arguing more than ever,
and Mirabel refuses to listen to her ideas. When the firm loses a client because they find her ideas offensive, OP is forced to write her up for it. Mirabel gets upset and accuses OP of harassment, saying he only wrote her up because she wouldn’t sleep with him in return for a promotion. OP is suspended while the firm investigates her claim, but OP is later attacked in the parking lot by two masked men. When news of the attack gets out, a guilty coworker named Erika (29F) reveals that Mirabel had told her about her plan to frame OP for harassment. With Erika’s help, OP is able to acquire proof of this, as well as evidence that his attackers were Mirabel’s brothers. He then schedules a meeting with HR, invites all coworkers to the Zoom call, and shares the proof with everyone. Mirabel and her brothers are arrested for criminal conspiracy, while OP gets his job back along with a raise to keep quiet over the company’s haste in suspending him without evidence.

Men never get to close to your female coworkers and situations like this can be avoided.

Just don’t date coworkers. Never a good idea. I worked with 3 couples. It was not pleasant. Plus you bring your couple drama to the job.

There's an old saying, Don't sh*t where you eat. It's never a good idea to date someone you work with. Especially when they are a subordinate & are highly competitive.

While it is clear that corporate ethics isn't what it used to be even a decade ago, OP's stupidity really hits a new low. He actually did everything wrong, was clueless about it, but it worked out great in the end, while in real life, men who are actually guiltless end up losing everything.
    OP was lucky, nothing more.

Moral of the story: never get involved with anyone you work with. With this whole "me too" BS, it's not worth the drama or headache. Glad OP got his job back and Maribel is sxposed.

Update, I get the feeling that she took the conversation with op about her getting a promotion later on, as that she could take advantage of op and always get her way and be above the other employees. So naturally when she doesn't get favoritism she becomes furious about not getting her way in using op. Definitely not surprised that she threatened op for writing her up despite the fact that she drove away a client and costed the company money.
Update 2, the fact that she ignored op and was so cheerful were red flags. I'm not surprised that she tried to get op fired. Nor that she had people put op in the hospital. The fact that she went that far is showing that she's a psychopath when she doesn't get her way.
Update 3, glad op is okay. But he shouldn't have called the temporary replacement. I'm not surprised that she had the stupidity and arrogance to brag to coworker what she's doing. She just showed that she's an vindictive, entitled psycho. She even involved her brother who is a freaking cop. She just ensured his career to be ruined.
Update 4, glad op got his job back. Awesome that op got all the evidence to put her out of the job. Op was smart and awesome for exposing her to the whole company. I'm not surprised that she was dumb and so mad that she outted herself in front of everyone by calling the mutual friend a "traitor". Haha, it's on herself that she got arrested and humiliated in front of everyone. She blew up her own career and life by being so entitled, not doing her job, then try to be vindictive when she was written up for costing the company money and a client. I'm not surprised that she has the stupidity to try to drag op and the company in a lawsuit. And one that she WILL lose because of all the evidence plus she will only make it worse on herself and her brothers. Definitely not surprised that she's also a coward and a traitor herself since she immediately threw she dragged her brother's down with her. But I can say that it's far from over and she won't stop til she's probably in jail.

The moral of the story isnt to not date withon the office, but dont tell lies to HR when asked. If it was me, he would've been fired for simply lying to me(HR) in the 1st place. If he lied abput something so small, then he'll definitely lie when something big happens.

It's daft to assume people don't date coworkers all the time with no drama. It's the primary place people meet each other, especially workaholics. Even when the relationship doesn't work out, people don't usually get beat up in the parking lot over it.

It's bad enough for her to disregard op or any of the others but to disregard the customers or the customer wishes alone is horrible and she should be punished for that alone. From the get-go. Idk. Lol An I hope everyone that was supposedly friends an workers. I hope get some too. An act like that over his personal life or relationship needs grow up an resize how real world works..

You lose a client by doing exactly the opposite of what were told to do, and all you get is a write-up? She should have been fired. This is what happens when you let women into the workplace. No real consequences.

Victim blaming a woman is terrible, but shaming a guy who got threatened with a box cutter is par for the course these days.
Also, you're getting an unreliable narrator vibe because literally none of the stories on this channel are real.
