I am in my early 30s, but I engaged in very unhealthy eating habits in my teens and early 20s that caused substantial weight loss and of course, muscle loss. Even after I gained back some of the weight through a solid, informed diet and a drastic mental shift, I honestly worried I had damaged my body forever. I was so weak I couldn't get through most exercise videos, and it wasn't for lack of trying. Thank you for these videos. They are challenging but not overwhelming. I am sore, but I am able to function the next day. They give me hope that I can restore my body to a healthy muscle to fat ratio in time. I can't believe you don't have more subscribers, because you deserve more. You are an excellent teacher. Thanks for all you do!

This was my first time. I'm 70. It was wonderful! I have 4 auto-immune diseases and scoliosis (4 spinal fusions-T8-S1. Some were hard, but I did it! Thank you! Can't wait for the next one. 😊
I had to back off the 5 lb weights and go back to 3 for some of the other videos with weights because of my shoulders. I use 5 lb weights for this one and it worked out just fine so far. Thank you so much you have made me stronger!

This was excellent! I’ve been doing your workouts (and others) since January and have lost 25 lbs! Now I need to shop for new clothes, although I hate shopping for clothes. But everything is too big now so I guess I have to bite the bullet!
I am now using 11lb weights, the heaviest I have. I started with 3.3lb, moved onto 6.6lb and now 11lb. This is over about 3 months. I really enjoy these cardio, weight combo workouts. I workout 6 days a week combining all you different styles. Thank you to you and your team
Absolutely LOVE this 41-minute Cardio with Weights workout! I'm a very active senior, well over 65, who does SOMEthing daily, whether it's, hiking, skiing, biking or whatever, yet this particular workout makes me sweat and I'm only at the 5 lb weights! It was hard and sometimes I could only do 6 reps but, I got through it. I know I am getting stronger. ☺ All thanks to you and your encouragement and great routines.

Used 10lb weights throughout the workout. Getting better and better at tightening my abs and keeping pelvic tilted when appropriate through the workouts. It is showing that is it being tightened as well. Thank you Lauren! Have a great workout. 😅😅😅😊😊

This is one I will be returning to time and again. I am 73, and using 5 lbs weights due to cranky elbow and shoulder, with no problem, until we did the balance-challenging lunges. I can see that my balance while holding a weight needs work (like carrying groceries up some steps!). Thank you for all the tips!

These are great exercises. I can participate and do everything, even though I had been out of shape and am almost 76 now. I did one or two silver sneakers and due to some jerky movements I got tendinitis in my elbow for about a week afterwards. I have no such problem with SeniorShape Fitness. Please keep inspiring and encouraging!

Great combination of cardio and weights, Lauren! I used 6 pound weights and by the end I was glistening. This was appropriate for anyone as I had a bad whiplash injury in 1985 which was not properly addressed and I suffered from neck, shoulder and back degenerative disc disease as well as fibromyalgia, massive migraines, IBS and chronic pain as a result of this and I am 68 years old! This workout was just right! Thanks so much!
Even though this is one of your older videos I did it this morning for the first time. It's one of your BESTS! Your cardio is always deceptively challenging and the strength portion was perfect. I'm 57 and used 5 lbs weights. Some of the moves I could have used 8 lbs which I will try next time. I so appreciate YOU !!!

I did this type of workout at the gym classes with other ladies 13- 15 years ago and loved them. Life challenges and changes happened and I have been trying to get back to working out at home now and eating correctly. Age 65 now and a little more stiffer but so glad to do this workout again. It challenges the mind and the body and I did indeed remember most of the moves. YAY!!. I have enjoyed all your workouts I have been doing. Thank you a lot

Hi Lauren! I am 61 & started working out with you about a month ago and I love it so much! I have been a consistent exerciser for years and became proficient in weight training in 2014. Unfortunately, I have dealt with three abdominal surgeries in the past six years. Being cautious and dealing with repeated recoveries has really changed the way I work out and I love that you have so many creative workouts that include so many compound movements! I have been using your workouts for a few months now. I love the variety, especially barre, pilates, weights, and cardio. Before Covid, I went to a gym daily. Due to Covid and some health conditions, I have not felt comfortable returning to the gym. I am 71 and appreciate the variety of your videos. I finally had a good sweat with your workouts! I am fit just recovering from injuries so this was perfect. I used 3 lbs (protecting my rotator area for now) I was at 2 when I first started. I just discovered these videos, and they’re perfect for getting back into weights, which I’ve skimped on the past few years. The warmups and workouts are solid. The cooldowns are not adequate for me, I have to say, so I stop the video and get down on the floor so I can do some proper stretching, like figure 4s and hamstring stretches. The cooldowns are the only weakness of these weight workouts.

Wow! Great workout. I can tell I am getting stronger. Started your workouts about 4 months ago with 2 or 3 pounds and now I am working with 4 to 5 pounds on most things. Today I used 5 pounds through whole workout. I will be 73 next week! Thank you for all your wonderful routines and your explanations.
All I can say is wow! I never sweat doing workouts with anyone else. With yoyr videos, I definitely do. Thank you for incorporating both cardio and weights. The time goes by so quickly. It's like being in a treadmill and you cover the time with a towel because you don't want to know how much time you have left. Presently, I'm using 5lbs in each hand. I'm going to order 8lb weights. My health is better, in part thanks to your strength training workouts which I have been regularly using for the past 3 months. My recent blood test results have shown improvement, would not have been able to achieve this, if not for your help. I started with 1kg weights and now am using 3kg. Thanks again!
Really enjoyed this workout as it has both cardio and d strength training. Also the length of the program is good as it is a meaningful time. I used 3 lbs weights and need to move to 4 lbs weights. Keep these combo and longer programs coming .

Good morning Lauren, I have been doing your work outs not consistently enough. I’m 59 and need to keep my muscles strong. I started back on your workouts this week after along pause. I did the cardio on Monday and the weight loss today adding the stretches in between. I love the soft tone but I can really feel the muscle and sweat. Thank you. Thank you so much for all the time, energy and effort in in doing these videos. Today was the first time I have done this video. It is the first time my peak reached 13 minutes (FitBit wearer). My heart rate got to 152 not bad for a 73 year old. Appreciate the ability to keep up with exercise with your workouts now that the weather is too cold for outside walks.
I loved this workout. It is just about the right level for me now. I like to vary them but I feel like I can handle more all the time. Right now I am using 8 lb weights. I have some 10's which I think I can use soon. Thank you so much Lauren, I so appreciate your efforts!🥰

I did this type of workout at the gym classes with other ladies 13- 15 years ago and loved them.
Life challenges and changes happened and I have been trying to get back to working out at home now and eating correctly. Age 65 now and a little more stiffer but so glad to do this workout again. It challenges the mind and the body and I did indeed remember most of the moves. YAY!!.

Hi Lauren! I am 61 & started working out with you about a month ago and I love it so much! I have been a consistent exerciser for years and became proficient in weight training in 2014. Unfortunately, I have dealt with three abdominal surgeries in the past six years. Being cautious and dealing with repeated recoveries has really changed the way I work out and I love that you have so many creative workouts that include so many compound movements! I look forward to getting a safe weight training “fix” with you and enjoy the variety of so many of your workouts. Thank you!❤

I have been using your workouts for a few months now. I love the variety, especially barre, pilates, weights, and cardio. Before Covid, I went to a gym daily. Due to Covid and some health conditions, I have not felt comfortable returning to the gym. I am 71 and appreciate the variety of your videos. I finally had a good sweat with your workouts! I am fit just recovering from injuries so this was perfect. I used 3 lbs (protecting my rotator area for now) I was at 2 when I first started. I plan to get to 5 lbs after another week as the 3 is starting to be too easy I am building slow THANK YOU!!!!!!

I just discovered these videos, and they’re perfect for getting back into weights, which I’ve skimped on the past few years. The warmups and workouts are solid. The cooldowns are not adequate for me, I have to say, so I stop the video and get down on the floor so I can do some proper stretching, like figure 4s and hamstring stretches. The cooldowns are the only weakness of these weight workouts.

All I can say is wow! I never sweat doing workouts with anyone else. With yoyr videos, I definitely do. Thank you for incorporating both cardio and weights. The time goes by so quickly. Thank you also for not putting the timer on the screen. I so appreciate that. It's like being in a treadmill and you cover the time with a towel because you don't want to know how much time you have left.
Presently, I'm using 5lbs in each hand. I'm going to order 8lb weights. I think I'm ready, thanks to you.

My health is better, in part thanks to your strength training workouts which I have been regularly using for the past 3 months. Really enjoyed this workout as it has both cardio and d strength training. Also the length of the program is good as it is a meaningful time. I used 3 lbs weights and need to move to 4 lbs weights. Keep these combo and longer programs coming

Good morning Lauren, I have been doing your work outs not consistently enough. I’m 59 and need to keep my muscles strong. I started back on your workouts this week after along pause. I did the cardio on Monday and the weight loss today adding the stretches in between. I love the soft tone but I can really feel the muscle and sweat. Thank you. I’m working up to your kick boxing video. I also have shared verbally with my coworkers. Awesome workouts!!!

Thank you so much for all the time, energy and effort in in doing these videos. Today was the first time I have done this video. It is the first time my peak reached 13 minutes (FitBit wearer). My heart rate got to 152 not bad for a 73 year old. Appreciate the ability to keep up with exercise with your workouts now that the weather is too cold for outside walks.

I loved this workout. It is just about the right level for me now. I like to vary them but I feel like I can handle more all the time. Right now I am using 8 lb weights. I have some 10's which I think I can use soon.
