I enjoy the most your analysis of the steps you have to take to win with this strategy. Like "I take bad trades, because those are the only trades I'm gonna get" and literally body blocking space on the map with buildings because there's nothing else to stand ground like boys or tanks. Being aware of the disadvantage and use it for your advantage it's some real aikido and craft.
imagine putting thousands of hrs onto a game, doing research, getting good enough to be top 50 of a region, then you just get sat down by a meme strat. its like fighting games where if u aint at the LITERAL top, sometimes you just get reminded that you're still just another random

Challenge idea: Contamination Focus on making mass Overseers to Contaminate your opponent. Supplement with other zerg units for defence and support for the Overseers. Utilize the fact Overseers are free of supply and you can have whole carpet of them. In the spirit of "contamination", consider spreading Creep in your opponent's base and potential expansion areas (eg using Overlords, Queen drops, proxy Hatch openings, etc) Contaminate sounds like a fun ability that have huge potential if done ad nauseam, but I've seen it being used perhaps only once or twice...
I love things like this because it really shows how important macro and positioning and engagements are even if you build intentionally wacky compositions

Absolutely insane game! I love the simultaneous raven attacks, so much action! It was really funny watching them tear the enemy infrastructure bit by bit

Not according to Liquipedia and the fandom wiki it doesn't. It's missing the entries in the stat tables that would indicate that it receives a bonus from upgrade research (a number and an icon, respectively). Have you tried doing actual research over asking a chatbot?
@@uThermal well vs all ravens I might have just had thors and mines with the tanks and pushed into all your bases. Better vs planetary, and I don't think the auto turrets could keep up or placing it in front of them because they are outranged.

i made a video called "the power of ravens" 14 years ago when the unit was rarely used at all. I was trying to show people what mass ravens could do literally 14 years ago lol! I'd say they were even stronger with seeker missiles and PDS man its crazy to think ive been playing this game for basically 15 years now.
Ravens are such trash, David Kim destroyed Ravens because he was a Protoss player and he left Storm alone, then got rid of seeker missile and PDD and added 5 second useless turrets.

During wings of liberty mass ravens was actually a very viable build even in the higher tier games. I even saw it in a GM tournament.
Imagine if 3 thors in javlin missile mode shows up out of nowhere and oneshots your entire army.
The ravens would need to be very stacked
and 3 interference matrix's and 10 auto turrets kills all 3 thors lmao.
