The Zealot-Immortal effect is the same reason i also put Marines alongside the Thors, they do wonders for units with less than 16 HP or so, so the Thors do not waste their huge burst DPS on an already dead unit. Thors are there to laugh at Colossi, but you need a cleanup crew with high attack rate to ensure the trash is clear. As you saw, Hellbats do a good job at something similar, as the flamethrowers will really nicely clear away both Zealots and Zerglings. Also this is one of those games where investing in 4 or so cannons would do wonders against the Hellion harass, i have no idea why he kept his bases so open knowing very well you were lusting after his mineral lines, but noooo, lets warp in zealots AFTER he has already taken out 12 probes and reduced my economy by 50 minerals a second, lmao.
Imo that protoss player put 100% effort on pushing and pressuring since the beginning. Cannon rush, gateway harass, colossi to burn bio then immor-archon-zealot. He focused too much on the offensive that he just couldn't react to the helli boys roasting his workers. Truly shows us that a good defense is also a good offense et vice versa.
@@huynhphucm445 Like, every mineral counts in these games, but using 600 minerals on a new expansion to ensure the enemy needs to at least bring some anti-armor seems to be an investment people just don't consider. In the grandmasters where the players have perfect micro over workers and usually have decent map awareness, you can adapt by instead multitasking small defence forces ready intercept, but at the leagues below that, why you wouldn't spend some minerals to ensure you don't lose 8 workers + their potential income to 4 hellions or 8 Zerglings just goes beyond me.

If you can't break a turtle terran, better prepare for a resource starving war than just keep throwing away the robo units and leave the income source open.

To defend a cannon rush your economy will just take a serious hit, and I think that's his overall plan to get ahead in the resource war at the beginning. If I'm right, then he's treating your base as an extension of his main base for army production while he pumps out probes and a new Nexus in his main base and natural. I wager this main base is mostly unguarded. Is it possible you could sneak some reapers in and counter fuck with him in this tight early game time limit?

I genuinely think Thor Banshee Hellbat Ghost can beat protoss army. The problem is if they go skytoss... The ghost can carpet bomb the archon and immo and make them very bad, you don't have the weakness of siege tanks to get run by or blinked on top. Or could use liberators instead of banshee but now that's so much gas.
I was thinking.. Against a Thor + Hellbat combo for Protoss.. What if they use Immortal + Zealot + Adepts ? Sentry of course would also be a good one I feel. Honestly I have never faced this kind of build when I have played Protoss. ( I am a random player, admittedly I have not played in a very long time but I am thinking of coming back. Been watching your videos, same with WinterStarcraft and Harstem. Getting that itch to play the game again lol. )
Hehe Thors are great for low apm players like me. When I used to play my go to army vs zerg was marine medivac thor helbat. Vs protoss it was thor viking marine marauder medivac.
