A lot of little things can be said in that bit of salt. 1 Guy was suspicious, 2. His reasons and Uthermals timing and read is phenomenal. You see a cheesier player expects cheese lol. He was looking for it but missed it until later in the game. All you ladder jokers, remember that pros play on it too. Next time you see, Uthermal scout, look at his read just from running in there and seeing what your building. How suspect is Uthermal of Cheese? If he doesn’t see you building what your supposed to be building, he automatically expects cheese. His entire channel based on Cheese. Just saw Harstem, going the Cheese route on his channel, actually saw him angry at his opponent for quitting and GG, cuz he couldn’t demonstrate his cheese lol, needed content for his video. Who in SC actually wants a long drawn out game? It’s all cheese baby and moving up the ladder is like work for some people. Hahahaha, making money playing games, the life isn’t it? I don't know what that guy was talking about. He attempted one attack by 5 minutes and it failed to destroy a single building. he lost the encounter. Why did he think he was winning in the beginning? At 6 min, he sent in a liberator that killed ONE probe before being destroyed. by 8:30, he managed to kill a proxy pylon and a carrier as well as chase away the mothership. But that doesn't mean he won the game... At like 9 minutes, he took out the third base but lost all the probes at one of his bases at the same time. His army ended up being made to retreat because of psionic storms. I just don't see how he thought he had won the game at any point...
He thought he won because he had solid macro and 'should have' won the micro. He didn't because of 'hacking'. Every time he thought he had the upper hand it evaporated into the ether. I have said this before. But man, uThermal, you nailed this game with your off race, as pro. Some kids calls this smurfing, but really they should love it ❤ and learn when pro's decent from their heaven and play with us mortals ❤
smurfing is a dumb concept imo. In chess, every single amateur would kill for a chance to play and learn from a top 100 grandmaster or super GM. If you take the experience seriously, rather than complain, it can be a rare opportunity to improve and become better than your peers.
To be fair, Glizzy is going against a pro trying weird strats, so it's a double edged sword of an unexpected strategy plus pro level game sense and micro. Not an easy combination to handle.
Thermy also pointed out that Glizzy’s MMR was on the rise. After a winning spree, encountering cheese from an aged fromager could really be devastating and/or humbling.

You forgot to include "Mothership to Rank 1". If you include that phrase, it changes the meaning of the title. He did not say it was the greatest salt of his career. You are twisting word and taking things out of context which are characteristics of a Karen/Ken. You just wanted to diss the guy.
@@geofer.o.13.888 lol all I'm doing is diving deep into sarcasm over the clickbait title. uThermal is one of the most honorable and humble streamers/gamers for his skill level. All of what I said prior is satirical. Marc is a real one.
If anyone sees GlizzyBomber on the ladder tell him to come watch this video. He deserves to know what he's been up against. The poor guy.
He's not a poor guy. He has very bad manners, a bad temper, and immature / lowly insults in store. The right attitude would to be 1) ask if it's TH-cam content / what channel 2) ask for a bit of advice 3) be fair-play, gracious and congrats.
@@Fred-yq3fs nah.. I would be pretty frustrated too, tbh. It would be amazing to play with a pro here and there in my ladder. But getting owned by weird builds while not knowing the other guys over 1000 mmr on you and at one point a top 30 world wide pro must be really really frustrating. I would say he gets a free pass for the bm after all these games but I'm sure he would find these vods entertaining too.
or he's a donut, I mean who knows
He's a donut for sure
@@klumzyee GlizzyBomber is well into GM on EU and Marc is playing his off race with a weird mothership rush build so their MMR is pretty close. I bet Marc's try hard Protoss MMR isn't much above 5500 MMR which is where Glizzybomber is. And he definitely knows its Marc if you read what he says at the end of the first game they played he says, "You play every race, do weird s***..." so he's well aware it's not just a rando.
@@omnimoeishi think he just remembers the account name. In d2 there is also certain player names burned into my brain cause they cannon rush or one base all in every time we meet. Some people leave an impression on you 😄
I laughed so heckin hard at the guys reaction on the first game.
heckin hard huh?
LOL that stasis was a 200% IQ idea that backfired so hard hahahaha, how the hell did he had such aim to stasis the entire army at once xD it even gave him extra time to get some reinforcements in and attack with an even larger army hahahaha
LOL at 31:22 you can see a marine body just floating off into the void. RIP that dude.
LMAO @ Glizzybomber, poor guy didn't know what was happening as you've done so many different things to the poor bugger! LMAO
When youre so tilted you end up complimenting your opponent instead of insulting them.
A 54 minute video!? :D uThermal is being generous today :)
46:00 that surround honestly was getting to alpha star levels
Trap moment
Man, the Marc evolution. I remember when he told us he used to always GG out super early in the pro days and now he clings on until the end and thats why he wins now. Mr. Bomber is so mad that he didnt GG out 5 minutes into the game after any loss. That was a BANGER game. I've seen it a few times now that you can really use the terran's alleyways and choke points they create within their own base against them.
clicked on your video by accident and I haven't watched it but I like to do this thing where I hear what I think is a dutch accent on a video and then I check their profile and it always says Netherlands. it's this fun game I like to play and I'm like 95% accurate now. you guys sound very distinctly silly when you speak het engels and I love you
Someone needs to hook Thermal's brain up to a neuro-scanner so we can see the fancy lightshow that happens when he plays and commentates intelligibly simultaneously. I'm so glad you won the last game. That was epic!
This channel is a pure therapy. Just plug in, enjoy the game and forget about all the shit out there.
Thanks Marc!
You're insanly good and entertaining! I only play aoe4 now a days, but your videos is the only Sc2 content i watch and its absolutly awesome!
"Just recall into the main base" still working for Protoss since 1998
you could show the graphs at the end, where you can see army strength/money in time, point out moments where a mineral line got destroyed, etc.
the guy sees tempests early; makes like 5 marines and 3 vikings, and blames hacks for losing
Getting called out for hacking is almost as good as getting blamed to take steroids if u are natural. Not that i have experienced one of it XD
Not a great comparison when you consider the mental and physical difference between pro athletes (even retired ones) and amatuer, college, semi-pro, etc.
@@Dr.Spatula It's an excellent comparison and not hard to udnerstand. He's saying it can be taken as a compliment because uthermal is really just that good, the same way a natty guy that looks amazing could take being called a steroid user as a compliment because he's just that ripped.
@@Dr.Spatula bro, u are not as smart as u think XD
@@augustuswilhelm907 It's funny how often stupid people tend to say similar things
@@squidikka Oh! So just remove the entire concept of competition. I guess if you are comparing uThermal to nothing, then sure, makes total sense
It's always fun when the salt effectively praises your gameplay.
what a legend, im not playing this game at all but had such fun watching this mate :)
The chill factor you approach these players with is hilarious - its just twisting that knife even more
"I fucking hate you"
BROOOOOOOOOO I LITERALLY LOLED HAHAHAHAHAH
"Hi Mr. Genie. I wish to exceed 5k mmr."
" Alright, but you will be hunted by an immortal snail."
Meanwhile:
uThermal: "I wish to be an immortal snail."
Genie: "... Huh, this is convenient."
this is amazing.
I haven't plyed SC2 in years but these videos are such bangers I can't stop watching
The guy practically calling himself out because he "should've won" in the first 5 minutes but couldn't finish it
To be fair I haven't seen someone do so much with so little like Marc. He can literally work units to their maximum potential so that even though he does these ridiculously inefficient builds he can make them work.
It does help he has excellent gamesense to know what his opponent is doing almost all the time.
Im screaming 😂😂😂 every salt video gives me the greatest joy and makes my day
It's nice to not see click bait titles and not waiting until some random point in some random game to see the referenced title/thumbnail. 10/10. I don't even play StarCraft and enjoy watching this.
That last game was so brilliant and off the wall… you almost can’t even disagree with the Terran’s rage lol, almost any pro assessing the replay would be like.. “..what is Protoss doin.. if they counterattack now they just lose..” and “his entire army is split” and “he’s sending in his Mothership now???” Would be the comments ROFL.
You’re videos inspire me to wanna get better at SC2, but then I realize I’m 40 and have no time! Haha. But keep putting them out man…I watch them pretty well daily now.
11:05 < That salt was a roundabout compliment, he is saying you have so many tactical plans you are unreadable.
Lol that salt was SO good! Also your Protos play has got way better, that macro game at the end was really good:)
If you keep improving at this rate you may even become a Protos main!
Wait until he finds out who "eseehc" really is.
31:22 - dat flying marine tho
Hehehe
😂😂 uThermal reading his opponent like a book, knowingly destroying his mental, calls that this build will get bm, and yep it immediately did hahaha
@@inthefade yes indeed.
11:00 - "You're good at the game".
That was the most salt I've ever seen you receive. This guy was triggered :D
OK, I wrote this after the first game but after the rematch with the Grizzly guy, man, you really triggered him :D
To be fair, your game sense is insane
A former Terran pro always going to know what Terrans are up to. That by itself is hacks
That was pure art. I'm really sorry for the guy though, hope he is alright
That was an intense game, I don't get why he's angry. It sucks to just mow people down all the time.
@@kieragard The guy thought Thermy was a cheater, so he got angry when he lost.
@@N1L4RV that's just petty, I've been beaten bad during certain games but it was clearly a difference in skill I don't accuse people of hacking, lol
I think this was my fav episode to date of all uThermal rush challenges
EMOTIONAL daaamage! Two games agains terran was brutal.
He wins after making disruptors instead of imortals. It was not about harassment (but it was good ofc) and mothership recalls (witch was not costefficient). Only disruptors can win lategame
20:20 "That was FIVE THOUSAND Stalkers!!!" LOL.
Now THAT is some good salt 😂 wp uThermal
man, you should’ve invited him to watch the video
For Thermy's final and most lethal cheese, he plays a standard game of Protoss into someone who knows his style
that meme with the woman sob-screaming with her friend holding her back while pointing at a squinting eyed cat is what these matches remind me of. uthermal is the cat and glizzybomber is the crying distraught woman
"Why can you just play normal and not do crazy shit!?"
meanwhile the cat is holding up a roulette wheel of crazy shit
"He's devastated" lol :)
You kinda have to hand it to Glizzy..... despite the immense pressure you both put him under, he still held on in there until the bitter end. Banger of a match indeed!
That stalker-death though at 45:53.
Oh, after all the great plays from and games against GlizzyBomber, I did not expect that foul language and BM-salt. What a shame because he seemed like a real good sport and solid player in past games/videos. Still, he gave me some real hearty laughing out loud this time, oh dear, haha!
He's got the gamer language app installed XD
This has to be a top 5 episode of all time.
Shout out to GlizzyBomber! He tries his best and when he loses his salt does not disappoint. 😂❤
Not even nasty, just frustration, which I can understand 😆
@@DrMattBug Not even nasty? bro did you even make it to the last game, he sounds like a petulant 10 year old
@@DWardington if you think that's nasty, you havent seen any. It's just teethering on the line of ranting and BM
That was an epic last game. That was like pro gamer switching tactics and micro management.
31:21 That marine had me cracking up for no reason
"Mental victories guys. He's devestated right now" the foreshadowing of that comment...poor guy is going to be admitted to a psych ward after the last few weeks of games
uThemal always doing the unexpected. To confuse and throw expectations to the wind they played - Standard Protoss. The one move they couldn't predict.
This was so fun to watch with the guy absolutely losing his mind
hilarious, you were dead but he couldn't finish you. Impeccable logic XD
When someone says "nobody plays like this" you should answer "well, uThermal does..." ;D
GlizzyBomber has a looooong salty history XD
That last game was amazing, you two should play each other on a regular basis as a series!
i love how a zealot runby requires maybe 4 clicks, one to group, one to attack the first location, another to group, and a fourth to attack the second location. lawdy
In the first game I was thinking what the heck is this terran doing - then I remembered it was Marc playing - and it all made sense again
Credits for grizzlybomber for an amazing game for us to enjoy.
When someone types they hate you, you should quickly respond with, "but I love you"
Hahaha, that salt had me literally laughing out loud! 🧂🧂🧂
At 5 minutes into last game, that glizzy claims is the point in game where he had already won, you had just pushed back his attack. not sure how he thinks getting repelled is a game winning move.
